The Opera Hotel  

The hotel is appointed exactly as depicted. It is a boutique hotel ideally located for 15-20 minuts walks to major sights. The satff are freindly and speak enought English to be able to communicate. Breakfast on the roof top terrace is wonderful but only accessible by a two--person elevator. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that experiance. A little noisy when windows are open (emergency vehicles) because of location on a main throughfare. Good value.

The rooms locks like in photoswith good amplacement in town, its 5 minute from Termini Rail Station! Even the street name its Via Nationale the area its Termini South!

The breackfest its very very poor, only coffe and one croissante, they have a big problem with the Hot Wather at bathroom !! On 31dec I doit one shower with cold water its impossile for 3stars and 180€/night!!! And its no internet! I use apple so for me the cable net are not good, even they dont have WiFi how wrote on bookingcom!!!

The hotel was very clean. The staff was O.k the location excellent. There is a lift but you need to reach the reception at the first floor to use stairs insonorisation is excellent . breakfast is correct. There is no free wi fi. If you have an I phone. . YOU NEED TO BRING A LABTOP AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A CABLE.

Room 413 is superb, it has a private terrace to sit on and a view of the town, the reception and lift are tiny but it isn't a problem as the deco in the entrance hall and staircase are beautiful, the breakfast room on the 5th floor terrace is small but pleasant and the lady serving breakfast is a ray of sunshine. The staff were all very helpful and kind and you can go anywhere in Rome on foot.

The location was close to major tourist areas. The room was modern and clean.

The hotel was a good place to sleep, however there were many items missing such as bar soap, tissue, wash cloths and water glasses. Also the ethernet internet cords were all broken so we had to buy our own. The lighting in the room was very poor, especially at the desk. The shower and bathroom were very small. The tv had only the bbc news, no us stations. All in all, the hotel was not worth the amount we paid. The bright spot was Julia's wonderful attitude every morning at breakfast. She was a delight!

Upon check in, I requested the reception that I want to pay my entire hotel bill for the 2 nights stay that I booked, however, they told me that as I am with 2 kids, I need to pay additional Euro 80 which I agreed after explaining that I dont need extra bed anyway so why the extra charge. Unfortunately again, on the next day after relaxing and unwinding by going around the city, I was super disappointed as they asked me to pay additional Euro 80, however, I told them that this matter has been settled when our check but they insisted that I pay additional Euro 80 so I told them that out of principle I will not pay Euro 80 additional and I just let the children sleep in the hotel and me and my husband to stay outside for the night. I may have fault for not making the proper reservation due to tight scheduling but I made up by trying to clear everything upon our check in but asking us to pay again and again is absolutely not professional and unacceptable. I will definitely not come back in this hotel for our future visits to rome and will tell all friends and relatives never to stay in this hotel.

Perfect location! Easy to get all city attractions.. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.. Room/bed etc is very comfortable and clean!

Breakfast can be better, there is not enough choice as being continental breakfast.. But all available are tasty anyway...

perfect hotel because of 1/very central location - within walking distance to main sights, Termini train station, metro station, bus stop infront of the hotel; 2/ clean and comfort room with aircon, looking exactly as described on the website (no. 412); 3/ very kind and helpful staff; 4/ rich breakfast served on the roof terrace; 5/ although it is on very busy street you don´t hear any noise

1/ absence of wi-fi (only cable connection is available for free); 2/ little bit overpriced (however as everything in Rome)

Good location. Central and near to metro station as well as central train station (termini). Plenty of restaurants/ bars nearby. Near to Piazza de Venezia and Colloseum.

Rooms are towards street (Via Nationale) and therefore a little bit noisy.

Hotel raffine bien decore bien situe et personnel tres attentif.

Chauffage tres moyen pour les nuits froides. Petit dejeuner servi en chambre tres "petit petit"

Buona posizione: 10 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Termini e 15 minuti a piedi da Piazza Venezia. Servito da una fermata dell'autobus proprio sotto all'hotel o dalla metropolitana fermata Repubblica a 2 minuti a piedi. Staff molto cordiale, sia alla reception che per il servizio colazione sulla terrazza. Camera spaziosa, curata e pulita.

Non abbiamo trovato aspetti negativi. Forse solo il fatto che non ci sono spazi comuni, non esiste una vera e propria hall, ma c'è una reception al 1 piano proprio alla fine delle scale. La temperatura della camera era un po' alta, anche con riscaldamento spento...
