The Place Cagliari  

After some helpful commnication prior to our arrival from Luca, he was there to meet us on arrival and provided some great restuarant reccomendations. The Place is very well designed and decorated to a high standard, the location was perfect and central to the city. All the staff were courteous and helpful, would stay here again and will recommend The Place to friends and family.

Please very friendly. Very reasonable prices for meals and drinks.

Not completely organised to make the most of tourists

Beautifully restored palazzo, very comfortable, lovely breakfast and very friendly owners. Perfectly situated for the sights of Cagliari and for the airport. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Nothing to dislike - superb

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and sufficient. The location is perfect - just in the city centre and near everything worth seeing. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable. I would recommend it to everyone!

No private parking

The most welcoming greeting ever! I was able to get into my room earlier than normal, the entire hotel is beautifully decorated , I LOVE white plush towels and crisp linen so it felt like home but more relaxing.

Everything! Bed was comfortable, shower was incredibe, breakfast was delicious, staff was super nice, location was prime.

I enjoyed my short stay The Place. The owners were extremely hospitiable and helpful and my room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there and would definately stay again. Loved it!

We strongly recommend this small hotel, especially if you like individual atmospher and friendly staff in a great location. We had the Maria Cristina suite, which is really nice and comfortable. Location is great, in the middle of the city center, but in a quiet residential street with traffic restriction. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. He gave us two really good recommendations for lunch and dinner, and explained us how to reach the beach, which is really easy by public transportation. Breakfast is served until 10.30, but as we did not show up, they brought it to our room, included freshly squeezed orange juice.

You might hear some noise from the other rooms (especially the shower) or from the stairs, but that depends on the room you have. We recommend the rooms on 1st or 2nd floor, not on the ground floor, as they are located close to the entrance door.

Excellent hotel, Luca and Cristina are very friendly and helpful. Very good location, room and bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good

We booked a junior suite at The Place, on arrival, we were met by Luca. He was very friendly and helpful giving us restaurant recommendations and describing the different areas of the city. Our suite was gorgeous, very spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast is very good quality and plentiful. I couldn't recommend The Place highly enough, it's in a great location for exploring the city

Only recommendations I would make would be to have robes in the suite for relaxing and to inform guests the mini bar must be paid in cash

We loved the quirkiness and originality of the rooms. In addition the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly.

Great location close to town centre, but still a very quiet street. Close proximity to restuarants, bars, the harbour and public transport.

Unfortunately we did not get the room we were promised. The shower was very tiny for some almost 2 meters tall Breakfast was a bit marginal

The location, the sense of being in the heart of the city, the bedroom was excellent, the sense that the hotel had been designed to please your senses.

The owners, the location, the breakfast, the feel if the place - all perfect!

I didn't stay there myself but booked it as an anniversary gift for my parents. They had a wonderful time and absolutely loved it. It was in a beautiful part of town and they were made to feel very welcome. After hearing of how much my parents loved it, I'm looking to take my girlfriend there next year.

The hotel doesn`t have a restaurant. But there are a lot for any taste nearby.

Charming proprietor, unique decor, comfortable bed, good wifi, excellent bathroom, superior breakfast, good location.

Not easy to locate, and difficult to access especially by car. Nearby parking is expensive.

The room was modern, comfortable and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff was only there in the morning and for a hour or two in the evening so if you had any questions or concerns, you had to wait to have them addressed.
