Boa localização e excelente atendimento
Wi-fi não funcionava no quarto
The staff are extremely friendly and the room is good value for money - quite basic but serves its purpose.
The first night there were some noisy neighbours. I also preferred the previous name Romae to Yellow.
We spent only 1 night here, but it was clean and confortable.
they lost our reservation and we were moved to an adiacent hotel for the rest of our stay. The hotel name was Hotel Positano. There the staff was very unfriendly, the bathroom was dirty and very old.
room, not realy clean, old, used, bathroom,
It was in a great location. The staff was very helpful.
Tv was in italian only. Wish they had some english channels
quick and efficient service at the reception desk.
Very basic facilities Very noisy at night No tea making facilities on site
I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago because of the very good location. The rooms are now renovated, clean and modern. I stayed in 2 different rooms, both good but shower a bit tight for space.Good windows, quiet at night.Staff excellent ,young and very efficient. Will definitely stay in it again.
Very convenient to all of the sights by walking or Metro. Yellow Bar was awesome with good prices.
Hotel/Hostel definitely more for a younger crowd looking to have a good time and party.
Beds and linen
Disorganisation at check in probably due to change of business name. Targeting backpacker crowd., mixing more premium product doesn't eirk
Especially the staff here can speak very good English. And the wifi signal is strong.
Our room is a little bit small.
1. No storage of baggages as the front desk staff said the policy changes (without notice in the hotel booking.website). As we plan to stay one night before going to Assisi and was told that the hotel policy changed, no storage of baggages services can be provided by the hotel. If you plan to leave your large baggages to the hotel for a short trip near Rome , this is not your choice. Be aware.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Romae. Very nice clean room in well run hotel. Staff always friendly and happy to help. Suggest you ask for a room that faces the courtyard rather than road as pub across the road can be a little noisy at times. Very good location only 10 minutes walk from Termini station and some nice restaurants close by.
Nothing we did not like
I LIKED THE LOCATION AND THE STAFF READINESS TO HELP.
THE LACK OF PROPER STORAGE FOR LUGGAGES.
Location Clean Friendly helpful staff
Late night partying by hotel (guest) neighbours. Tried to contact reception to complain, no one answered phone.
I liked the location (near the station), the beds were comfy, and the restaurant across the street was good.
Bathroom in need of refurbishment (yucky ceiling). The hotel is really geared towards the "hip" younger crowd, so it isn't the right place for someone who wants some peace and quiet and to just relax.
I have stayed at the Romae several times in the past and have always recommended it. But found it much changed on this occasion. As a youth hostel/Hotel it didn't work for me, unfortunately.
We arrived to Hotel Romae on Friday 27th June at 16:30 hours. The building is shared by other hotels and our first impression was that it was a student hostel not a three stars hotel. They announce themselves as a Groovy Hotel where quoting: “our groovy guests are welcomed by our international and groovy staff who are dedicated to help making your stay with us a memorable one”. Well, when I made my reservation at Booking.com I specified standard double room (it seems that they have standards and smalls rooms at different prices) with a big bed. I was travelling with my girlfriend so I also wrote in the comments section that I wanted just one big bed not two single ones. Two days before arriving I phoned the hotel and ask them about the status of my reservation and my request of one big bed. They told me that everything was correct. Upon arrival at the so called lobby, there was a big mess of people demanding things to the staff and no sign of queues or organization. After managing our way to the desk we have to interrupt the girl there, who was playing with her laptop without paying attention to us, to explain her that we had a reservation and wanted our room. I gave her the paper with all the data of my reservation and explained that I reserved a standard room (not small) with one big bed and that I phoned to check it two days ago. The girl attended us in Spanish and asked for our passports. Then she got distracted because the other girl in the desk, who was also playing with her computer despite the mess in the lobby, decided to paint her partner on the shoulder with a pen in a total childish manner. That provoked that the girl who was attending us interrupted her work to counterattack with her own pen the shoulder of her aggressor. When reciprocity was settled and after a couple of babyish moans by the girls, we received our keys. We took the stairs to our room to find that it was minuscule and had two small separate beds.
Hotel is now linked to backpacker accommodation. Very noisy from bar, cafe across the road until the wee hours every night.
The only thing I liked was the location. However the Staff was collaborative.
Almost everything. I was never informed that the Romae Hotel was fusioned with the Yellow Hostel. And when I arrived I was told that my room was upgraded. The elevator is very small! But cute. The room I was given (1st floor) had a very disgusting bathroom, there was always water like in a flood, the wall paintings both in the room and in the bathroom looked awful, the carpet was smelling bad, the appearance was very deteriorated, the air conditioning was not correctly working. Definitely the Romae didn't meet my expectations.
Everything!!especially the fact that everything i needed was in the neighborhood!!
location,good staff ready to help
it is in the same building with hostel, and iti s almost like a good equiped hostel... you must count on slepless nights ...it is ,definitely , place for young people ready to party all night long...definitely not for families with children
The location is very near to Termini. All facilities are basic and well functioning. The modern style of the rooms is really nice. We had a freindly welcome at the reception and took a detailed map about the hotel and the nearby shops and metro stations.
The elevator is too small.
The wifi is poor.
