Location and room comfort
Basic breakfast and some items were not fresh.
Hotel near ist near the sea
Don't have water boiler in the room and from roomservice was the hotwater thermos was smell acoffee, is trieble.
The room given me was very small, not what I had reserved, view from room was the roof top of part of the hotel. dripping noise from bathroom, No desk or any surface to write, Breakfast buffet was cold and expensive. Will not stay there again.
The view of the Grand Canal was excellent. The best view of the three Italian hotels we stayed in. The staff was very courteous and we were greeted by the manager on arrival.
The room was small for the price and the shower was tiny, 2' x 2'. We were one floor above street (canal) level which gave us limited privacy as we watched the laundry pick up and delivery every morning.
i extended my stay for 2 nights the front desk staff was helpful & so professional from the beginning but at the same time they didn't show curious or care to extend my stay i always here we r fully booked & busy & this Gives me intimation like if u stay with us thats good & if u dont stay some one else going to occupied the room at this time there was a couple of room available fitting my choice available in the morning but when i speak with them again to confirm that they booked it for me afte rcouple hours its sold out while im confirming to them im going to extend for sure the problem is i informed them my flight plan depend on if im going to extend or not , so if im extending im going to delay my flight a couple days after the rooms was available & sometimes not available they found my a perfect rooms but also they put me in pressure again by giving me only one our chance to change my flight schedule finally they book the rooms for me the hotel & the staff was great & nice experience but only the need to show more hospitality
Liked everything except..
How can a hotel of this category charge for Wi Fi ? So last century. What is next? Charging for TV or indor plumbing? I am outraged and will make my displeasure known far and wide.
I was given a very small room, I had reserved a G rand Delux double room. The room had closet space that only accomodated 3 of my clothes, there was no desk or surface of any kind and I was forced to write any post cards on my bed. There was a steady dripping noise from the bathroom which disturb my sleep. The view from my room was the roof tops of lower buildings. Will not stay there again.

Inability to Check-in until (17.30) was very annoying and forced us to change plans for the day - unacceptable for a two day visit. Complimentary breakfast and champagne was appreciated.
The general overall style and location of the hotel was very good
Although the bar staff were very good - the rest of the staff were very mediocre and the dress down service for the rooms also not good. The complimentary strawberries were still rotting in the room after 6 days!

Beautiful hotel located close to the square.
Lighting in street to get back to the hotel from the square could be better for night time. It felt secluded so I wouldn't want to walk alone to get back to the hotel. The signage was not great from the street.
I booked this hotel and mentioned it was my partners 50th and asked if an upgrade would be possible they informed me on the day I could ask. When we checked in we didn't ask but they offered us a complimentary upgrade plus on evening one a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake arrived as a gift amazing very thoughtful

The hotel's location is perfect on the Grand Canal very close to Piazza San Marco. The hotel is luxurious throughout, the bedrooms are very large and extremely well furnished, the beds are large and extremely comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were great with plenty of choices and the staff were very attentive and helpful. A wonderful experience

- renovation - we werent pre-warned that there would be renovation, and the noise was so loud each morning from before 10am that we couldnt bear to be in our rooms - room outdated - room slighty unclean - there was a used ear plug on the floor and part used shampoo etc in the shower

I travelled with an infant and a young kid and they arranged me to stay in a room which required me to climb 2 flights of steps. They provided a baby cot in the room but the cot was not covered with bed sheet nor any quilt was provided. When requested, they brought the bedsheet and quilt to the rooom but they did not make the bed for us. In addition, this is the first time that I stayed in a 5 star hotel which did not provide bed-turning service. TV reception was bad and the in-room wifi was difficult to connect.
Staff was well oriented and knew where to direct us for meals through out the day. Rooms were beautiful, beds could be more comfortable. Gym was okay, didn't get a chance to see pool. Great location!!!!!! :) literally shopping stores around the corner, grand canal right up front, and San Marco Plaza 3-5 min walk from Hotel! Great food (You must eat pizza at Rossopomodoro :)))) Incredible!!!!
The location is very good.
The seems to be old & renovated but still although we used the elevator, we had to climb some stairs to reach our room. They must consider other customers have disabled wheel chairs or baby stroller.
