We really enjoyed our week staying at Best Western Tigullio Royal. The room was great and very quiet. The bed was extremely comfy and a great size. The views over the water were magical and it was so good to be able to sit on the balcony and take in the sights and sounds of Rapallo. The breakfasts were most enjoyable with such a wide choice of food all very delicious!. The staff in the dining room were helpful and always appeared happy. The Hotel seemed to be in good hands with a very keen manager who had a good team working with him. The situation of the hotel was marvellous with a lovely walk around the water front, restarants, shops a plenty, ferry services and train station all with in a very easy walk. We certainly would recommend anyone to say there.

Locatio is very good and reception staff were very helpful. There is no parking for motorcycles and we had a tough time trying to park even though it says parking and we specified we were on a motorcycle and nothing was ever mentioned before or we would have cancelled. We requested two items during our stay fro reception when the manager was on duty and did not receive either. It is a good hotel but do not arrive by motorcycle.

My husband and I chose this hotel based upon the advice of a friend who had stayed here many times in his countless travels throughout Italy. This was out first trip to Italy in honor of our 35th wedding anniversary! We were thrilled with the facility, staff, and excellent location from which to begin our adventures in the Rapallo area. The Tiguillio Royal is seaside with lovely balconies from which to enjoy the ocean views (rainbows!) and observe the flurry of activities near the promenade. It is the perfect base for trips to Portofino, Santa Margarita, Cinque Terre and beyond. We walked for miles in the lovely area and swam in a public beach area which was approx. A 10 minute walk from the town center. We will definitely return! Staff was superb in every way and very helpful to first-time visitors to the area.

This hotel is well located for restaurants and day trips around the area. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They speak excellent English as well as a number of other languages. Portofino is well worth a visit as is Cinque Terre both of which are within easy drive. The buffet breakfast was also very good with a good variety of items. It isn't really a complaint because wi-fi and parking aren't free at most hotels today. Although the charge of 10 euros a day is reasonable compared to other hotels. Also there is a 10 euro a day charge for the parking at the lot across the street which seems reasonable..

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room which had a balcony overlooking the sea was quite large fro a European hotel and very clean. The hotel is very well located close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast is only continental but a wide range of choices on offer.

The hotel has an excellent location and we had a comfortable room with a balcony and sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the cheerful waiter at breakfast room and nice receptionist at the front desk. They made our stay a very enjoyable one. We will definitely consider this hotel for our future trips to Italy.

The staff were charming and helpful. The bathroom was very poor, especially for a de luxe room. The shower was so small that even I at nine stone and not fat struggled to get in, it was worse for my husband. Anyone larger would have found it impossible. The bed was extremely hard so had a week of poor sleep. The wi fi connection was unreliable and expensive.

Location couldn't be faulted We were touring and this was the most expensive hotel, but least value for money. Despite telling staff our problem after first night, the bed was impossible to sleep on and my wife slept on the sofa during the second night. If we hadn't prepaid would not have continued with this hotel.

Helpful cheerful staff in a lovely location centre of Rapello. wonderful breakfast, great waiting staff. Very comfortable room Having booked through you, we were continually told what a great deal we had with such a special rate. However the special rate gave us a comfortable room but at the back of the hotel looking out at brick wall - this was fine as we were only having an overnight stay before continuing our main holiday. However if we were going to stay for a week I would have been extremely disappointed.

The staff were very helpful in overcoming some of the issues inherent in the location of a hotel on a busy beachfront promenade, principally parking. The room was basic, on my scale, but also very cheap in the scheme of things. It was a standard chain hotel experience. Breakfast was excellent. The policy of having to turn your key in every time you leave the hotel, although that seems to be more an Italian thing than specific to this particular hotel. Not being able to see an itemised bill before paying.

Very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay perfect. The breakfast was very good and the rooms large and comfortable. Thank you to Elizabetha and Andria who were especially helpful. The location was on the Santa Margerita end of the bay right next to a multitude of cafes and restaurants. We were very happy there and would come back again next time Wi Fi was a little sketchy.

Centrally located, close to the train station & all the restaurants/shops, friendly staff (especially Allesandro @ breakfast), clean rooms. A bit noisy (main road) once the windows are open, but not really a problem.

The breakfasts were fabulous. There was a great variety of fruits, juices, pastries, and other breakfast foods. The staff was accomodating and the setting was beautiful - a pleasant room opening up to an outdoor veranda. The bed was hard.

The staff (in particular the breakfast waiter) were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was ideal Just a small detail but we were unable to borrow beach towels from the hotel, which was unusual nowadays, and we had to purchase our own.

Reception staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Room was the biggest that we had in our whole stay in Italy and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and parking available across the road. Location was great. Was a shame we only stayed for 1 night.

The fabulous friendly knowledgeable staff. the room was lovely and we all fitted in quite well, being 4 of us. The room had a nice view of the sea. The breakfast had a good selection of food to choose from though being winter time some hot food would have been good.

Superb. Great location with picturesque views over the bay. Room was very spacious, staff excellent and breakfast awesome. Would highly recommend. Would definelty stay here if we returned to Rapallo. Also close to Conque Terre by train - an easy day trip. Only time we had to pay for wifi after 3 months of travelling Europe. Otherwise, no problems.

The hotel manager was most welcoming and we were upgraded to the penthouse with the most spectacular view of Tigullio Gulf. The room was PERFECT for us. We had originally booked two separate rooms, but the penthouse with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms proved to be ideal for my parents, my husband, baby and myself. The breakfast was abundant and the service was fabulous. The location was perfect. The elevator is small and the paid parking lot can be inconvenient as the lot is frequently full and costs 10 Euros/day.
