My whole experience with Tigullio Royal was great. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly (they also had great local knowledge of Rapallo and the surrounding areas). The buffet breakfast was amazing! I have spent the last 6 weeks travelling in Italy and this was by far, the best I have seen. The condition of my room was immaculate and I loved the newly renovated bathroom. I was more than satisfied with my stay at Tigullio and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. |

We were in Italy for three weeks and the breakfast at the Tigullio Royal was by far the best. The location was very good. Close to the trains for the cinque-terra, shopping outside your door,and the ocean across the street. The rooms were clean,and updated. |

Hotel location right on th beach is very hard to beat, Room layout with comfortable couch , desk and position of TV and overall lighting an view make it a pleasant room to sit a read etc. for a few hours.when necessary. Definitely one of the best rooms in which I have stayed. |

We loved the location and had paid extra for a full sea and harbour view which was certainly worth the extra. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip we felt this hotel offered the best value for money and would certainly go back again. The breakfast was the best we had in any hotel during our Italian trip. |

The hotel was well positioned and the superior room was worth paying for as it gave you a larger room with a view of the bay at Rapallo. The room was roomy and airy and clean. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would return. The only downside was that the staff were a bit tardy about responding to small requests eg for more soap which did not show up until the next cleaning service. |

The twoyoung men running the hotel were excellent. They went out of their way to make our stay incredible.My car battery actually died and a staff member named Andrew went out of his way to help me out. |

We like proximity to the beach and promenade. The convenience to many cafes was nice. The breakfast and dining area were nice. The desk people were helpful and friendly. We did not like that you have to pay 20 Euros for 2 people to use the beach area. This must have included chairs; although we decided not to do it because it was too expensive at 4 in the afternoon. |

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful - particularly Elisabetta. The hotel is lovely. We had a double deluxe room which was located on the 6th floor and it had a wraparound balcony so we had an amazing panoramic view of the whole bay. It is located right in the middle of Rappallo and is next to the promenade, beach, sea front shops and restaurants. Not a lot. Although I would recommend putting local tourist info booklets in the rooms e.g. local sights etc... There was some confusion re the beach - apparently it normally only opens from 1/6 and we were told that by reception. We had seen it open on the previous day. We were staying from 15/5 to 18/5. |
