The Golden Tulip Mirage is set one mile from Florence Peretola Airport, and a short drive from the Firenze Nord exit of the A1 Highway. It offers free guarded parking. All rooms offer a balcony and are furnished in a classic style, with carpeted floors and wooden furniture. Each is equipped with a satellite TV, air conditioning, and private bathroom with shower. Some rooms offer extra space and larger beds. The Mirage's restaurant specializes in classic Italian cuisine and traditional Tuscan recipes, made from fresh local products. Breakfast is buffet-style, and drinks are available at the bar, with the ambient sound of piano music. At Golden Tulip Mirage, attentive, professional staff is always on hand to suggest places to visit and help with useful travel info. The historic center of Florence is 20 minutes away by public bus. Location The room had two steps between the bathroom and the rest of the room. Not good for waking up in the middle of the night.

Location is good, next to the airport and main roads. Not far from the center It's a super old hotel. I think that since it was build and/or renovated, not even a bulb has been changed. It's like being in a time- machine which brings you into the 80s. Everything is so old, but unfortunately not vintage. I Expected the Duran Duran or wonder Woman to pop up anytime. Definitely a "must-not"

The staff was always nice with us. The room was good,the breakfast was good although for a whole week it was always the same and the parking outside the hotel is very good too the bus for the centre stops just outside the parking. We took the impression it gathers more for the chinese because all week it was filled with chinese people.

Great room quality (good bed, bathroom), ease of traveling to the city with bus (bus stop at the gate) The hotel staff barely could speak English and couldn't solve my room's safe problem. Asked to be waked up at 7 but the phone did not ring.

Large rooms The hotel is very old and the services do not correspond to a 4 star hotel. I would think of it as a 2 star hotel. The rooms, although relatively large, were dirty and the covers of the bed were destroyed, with big holes on them. The proximity to the airport was convenient, but apart from that I do not recommend the hotel for business travellers. The breakfast was very poor.

The availability of free and safe parking area on site. Bus stop just outside the hotel and thus easy access to the historic centre of Florence The first night the hotel room was very noisy as we could hear and even see the train passing by! We complained about it and were given a room on the other side of the building which was ok

Our family room was a good sized room. The secure parking was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a slightly stale odour when we first entered it.... This was easily remedied by spraying an air freshener.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and informative. The Breakfast was good and had a good selection to choose from. My friend and I had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was really tasty. The hotel was a little bit out of the way but was very easy to get to by public transit.

The hotel staff was really nice and the room was very clean, execpt for the old carpets and facilities. The free parking is very convinient. The hotel carpets and furniture is very old, this makes the hotel experience not good. But the staff and the cleanness of the room was great. I have to say florence was very full because of the pitti show and that is why the room was 200 Euros.

The fact that you can catch a bus in front of the hotel. The bus can get you to the city center in aproximately 20 minutes. The smell was horrible, there were mosquitos in the rooms and a spider bit my daughter several times on the face and arm. The breakfast was also more continental than buffet and you have to pay for Internet. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was one of few with their parking space for guests free of charge. Also the hotel staff were very obliging and the cleanliness of our room was excellent. I did not like that they do not have smoking rooms, bat I think nowadays it is impossible to find hotel with smoking rooms.

Very good breakfast and parking place. The rooms were Ok. The buttons for and in the elevator were not very good, You had to pressure very hard to use them. The air condition unit made a lot of noise. Fortunately we did not need it...!
