Featuring a pretty roof terrace, a large breakfast buffet and air-conditioned rooms, the Novecento is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum in a quiet residential area, 325 ft from Manzoni Metro...

Cristoforo Colombo is in Rome's EUR district, next to Euroma2 shopping center and close to Rome's GRA beltway. The hotel has free parking and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

Occupying a beautiful 19th-century building, the hotel is in the center of the Eternal City, just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna and the wonderful Fori of Imperial Rome.

Less than half a mile from Termini Train Station, Rome’s central hub, Hotel Virgilio offers a convenient central location.
Score from 630 reviews Good
Location - easy access to all parts of the city , 2 great trattoria's right outside the door, wonderful staff (Michaela}, breakfast, bathrooms updated and good size
small rooms (as expected), decor a little worn,
The only thing going for the hotel was it's location.
The breakfast room was dingy, breakfast very disappointing, not very fresh, cold coffee, staff were not helpful or particularly welcoming.
Hotel Tirreno is situated down a narrow sloping street in the centre of Rome. Turn left as you leave the hotel and you are about 10 minutes walk from Termini Station. Turn right and you are about 20 minutes away from the Coliseum. It is quiet and safe and friendly. The people on the desk are helpful and speak English and, it seems, a little of most languages.
The Wi-Fi was very patchy (but we found that was the case all over Rome) and the breakfast was a bit basic, the same type rolls and coffee/tea each day. We noticed people getting extras like yogurt and cappuccino and realised this was available if you asked, but nobody had told us.
Convenient location, good size room, breakfast was very nice.
Price was slightly high.
Fair for the price
So central and cosy
Beds need replacing
Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Gave good advice on where to go and local transport options near the hotel. Good location walking distance to the coliseum and a large variety of restaurants, shops etc. wifi connection was good, could upload and download quickly unlike some places I've stayed! Also had a lovely terrace garden!
Rooms were a bit small though that may not be true of all rooms, we booked last minute and got some of the last rooms available.
Friendly English-speeking staff
Was asked to pay 50% of another days rate if we checked out 2 hours after check out time. So we spent an extra 2 hours sitting at the airport.
excellent wi-fi , good breakfast ,great location
Location Cheap Better than many other hotel around termini Ideal for short business trips if budget is a concern
Ver very basic Poor breakfast Depressing lights and furniture It does not impress your girlfriend
The friendly staff make our stay feel like we belonged to one big family. The location was excellent very easy to locate and get around.
A little noisy some nights from street and communal garden area
accommodating staff; granted our request for an early check in. fantastic location; historical sites and attractions, local restaurants are within walking distance.
shower area is very small. thin walls; wouldn't matter much if your next door neighbour is considerate, though. otherwise it could be a long night.
location was good with the main areas for touring within walking distance. room was clean and staff friendly
friendly, english-speaking staff; good location;
everything was ok
Hotel was in a really good location and central to everything. It as very clean. The rooms were fairly small but enough for what you needed. The staff are friendly and breakfast was served in a quaint little room downstairs. There is a mini bar in the fridge which was reasonable but 3 shops right of the hotel there is a little shop that sells water for 90cents. Wifi not available in our room 210 but had good strong signal in garden and reception. Garden area is lovely and nice to relax after a busy day. Also if you pay in cash you get 5% off booking price.
Friendly and helpful staff Pleasant and convenient location, easy to get to city centre, good eating places even in same road, whatever price you wish to pay. I would certainly stay there again if I were visiting Rome.
Can't think of anything!
The staff was very accomodating, and good natured.
Seems a little old and warned down
Location Service from the reception
Great location close to Roma Termini and Cavour stations. Good wifi, helpful and friendly staff.
No protein and fruits for breakfast.
- hotel in a nice, silent neighbourhood, without any noise of the city - few very good restaurant close to the hotel (on the same street) - very good location, close to Termini and both metro lines - just 10 minutes walk to Colosseum and ancient city
- very poor breakfast, just sweet (croissant, jams, honey and nutella) and one cup of coffe and tea, if you want an extra one you have to pay for it - mildew on the wall in a bathroom - there was a flood in a whole bathroom every time we showered - towels and bed linen smelly and not so clean - on the groundfloor, near the elevator there was horrible a mustiness smell - a part of staff at the reception was rude and unhelpful - we had an incident at the reception dsk when we wanted a transfer to the airport. We asked for a taxi and they called a "friend" driver that wanted from us a lot much more money and while refused that transfer he yelled at us and insulted us.
Location Good local eateries
The back garden was lovely to sit out in when the sun was shining
The room didn't have a bath like stated in the room description.
Very nice stuff, helpful and smiley. Loved the location and the whole atmosphere in the hotel, quite homely and relaxed. We were given a room with balcony just we asked which was very kind of the management and it did make a big difference having that balcony which was huge, more like a patio.
Breakfast is rather modest and lack cheese and yogurt. But the coffee is fantastic. Also the cleaning consists from practically just tidying the bed and changing the towels, our floor was filthy by the end of our 8days stay.
Perfect location. Nice friendly staff.
Breakfast consists only of sweets.
