Hotel Terminal is situated on the Esquilino area, between Roma Termini Train Station and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.

Just 320 yards from the Spanish Steps, Hotel Firenze is in the heart of the historic center of Rome. The basic rooms with private bathrooms include air conditioning and a TV.
Score from 398 reviews Good
Less than half a mile from Termini Train Station, Rome’s central hub, Hotel Virgilio offers a convenient central location.
Score from 824 reviews Very good
Just a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, Hotel De Petris has elegant rooms in the center, and a spacious terrace with views of Rome’s sights.
Score from 972 reviews Good
Very close to Termini and the city center, down the road from Colosseum. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and with pleasure come back there.
I ve enjoyed my stay from the begging to the end.
Helpful friendly staff Easy walking distance to most places Good continental breakfast
It is written, that the double room has a bathtub, but there was not. The bed was trouble.
The lovely kindness of the porter in getting some croissants for my little boy as we were leaving too early to catch breakfast
Just minutes from the Termini station and near several nice restaurants and attractions. The hotel is small, but nicely kept with good breakfast room and excellent WiFi. I would stay here again!
Single room really small, but for the price it was the best value. I would have liked some English channels on the TV.
Location is 10min from Colosseum and other main attractions. Close to two metro stations of different lines. Termini station is just 7 min away by foot. The room is small but clean and cozy.
Breakfast is a bit small, no variety. Rooms and facilities are basic and very simple.
Location and free internet
Room really small
good location, friendly staff.
single room is a bit small but alright.
Kind, helpful and friendly staff.
The beds and linen were very uncomfortable No tea or coffee making facilities available in the room or general area
location, breakfast, member of staff on arrival.
member of staff on day 2 did not seem as interested or attentive as day 1.
The rest of our stay was brilliant.i think our kids preferred their stay more in the hotel than going around the city.thank u for making our stay as comfortable as we can be.
Just on and off wi-fi.
it was exactly what we needed as we were out all day.
Good location, friendly reception, decent breakfast.
The size of the room was too small.
Location is great, at walking distance from Termini station and several important landmarks
The breakfast was poor and the "updated" wifi not suitable to serve all the guests (low speed and frequent disconnections)
Excellent, friendly restaurants on the doorstep. Try La Forchetta d'Oro, La Briggantina (great pizza!) and artisan bakery next door but one. Nearby Panella is fantastic for coffee and pastries. Very close to Santa Maria Maggiore and Coliseum a short walk away.
Proximity to Termini train station and metro line.
Location - easy access to all parts of the city , 2 great trattoria's right outside the door, wonderful staff (Michaela}, breakfast, bathrooms updated and good size
small rooms (as expected), decor a little worn,
The only thing going for the hotel was it's location.
The breakfast room was dingy, breakfast very disappointing, not very fresh, cold coffee, staff were not helpful or particularly welcoming.
Hotel Tirreno is situated down a narrow sloping street in the centre of Rome. Turn left as you leave the hotel and you are about 10 minutes walk from Termini Station. Turn right and you are about 20 minutes away from the Coliseum. It is quiet and safe and friendly. The people on the desk are helpful and speak English and, it seems, a little of most languages.
The Wi-Fi was very patchy (but we found that was the case all over Rome) and the breakfast was a bit basic, the same type rolls and coffee/tea each day. We noticed people getting extras like yogurt and cappuccino and realised this was available if you asked, but nobody had told us.
Convenient location, good size room, breakfast was very nice.
Price was slightly high.
Fair for the price
So central and cosy
Beds need replacing
Staff very helpful and spoke good English. Gave good advice on where to go and local transport options near the hotel. Good location walking distance to the coliseum and a large variety of restaurants, shops etc. wifi connection was good, could upload and download quickly unlike some places I've stayed! Also had a lovely terrace garden!
Rooms were a bit small though that may not be true of all rooms, we booked last minute and got some of the last rooms available.
Friendly English-speeking staff
Was asked to pay 50% of another days rate if we checked out 2 hours after check out time. So we spent an extra 2 hours sitting at the airport.
