Friendly service, the garden.
Location is very central.
We requested a room with 3 separate twin beds for 3 men sharing. When we arrived the room had been set up into a double and one single. There was only one towel in the room and a roll of toilet paper that was 3/4 of the way used. When we explained the problem to reception the gentleman shrugged and told us there was nothing he could do except give us another roll of toilet paper. The next morning, despite our request, the double bed was not pulled apart and remade into two twins. Unorganised, not at all proactive nor helpful. Terrible service made for an unpleasant stay.
It's really close to great bars and restaurants, most of them are crowded with young college students.
The room is very noisy! I can hear next doors talking, having shower, flushing toilet, brushing teeth, and even snoring. Shower head was broken and fixed with plastic tape. there was hair left from last guest on the hair drier. Coffee is not Italian, even not American. Staff at night was careless and indifferent.
We stayed in a triple room which had a small terrace (no canal view and it was rainy so didn't get much use). The room was very cosy and the bathroom was clean. We walked over from the train station, and the location in Dosoduro was ideal, as there were many restaurant options nearby. We were close enough to the Accademia Bridge to cross over to Piazza San Marco area.
Friendly staff Bright and light breakfast room Very good continental breakfast Extremely clean Comfy bed Good location
Room cleanliness. Good staff and fair location
Breakfast could have been better
We did not have to spend a fortune to stay in Venice. Loved Hotel Tivoli, its employees, the price, and great breakfasts included every day. Great neighborhood with easy access to all the sites. Would go back for sure
Many stairs to our room with no elevator, but we did not mind .
Puolė naktį uodai.
Bathroom was modernized with a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink but no a washcloth for the face!
We are and elderly couple and had to tote our luggage to the 3rd floor. I had to ask the desk clerk to help my 75 yr old husband. Mattress was about 6 inches and hard as a board! Couldn't sleep on it!! TV was really small, chairs were too uncomfortable to sit in (hard wood) So we went to the lobby and couch and chairs there were uncomfortable! Nothing about the place made one feel good!!
Having a quiet, leafy courtyard is a massive bonas
Aircon broken in one of the rooms we hired
Breakfast was very adequate...nice breakfast area. Staff was helpful and able to answer all our questions. We will return to Hotel Tivoli when we return to Venice.
The mosquitoes were somewhat of an issue. It was warm, we had the window open, and the mosquitoes waltzed in.... next time we will pack mosquito repellent.
Was close to the water bus. Close to lots of restrurants and window shopping.
The shower was too small for an adult Breakfast was ok.
Frjendly staff and good breakfast
No lift and the room was too small for the four of us
Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
A bit far from train station especially when travelling with more luggage - coming off or just starting cruise.
Small but quaint room Simple but tasty breakfast Friendly and polite staff
Great breakfast. Good budget Hotel Great location with lots of cheap, excellent restaurants close by. Quiet at night so we slept well.
Small bathroom with only a tiny shower and toilet area. Lots of stairs Beds not very comfortable and a tiny room but it is a budget hotel so I expected this.
15 minute walk from the station. We had a large room (double bed as well as a single bed)
Could hear noise during the night from outside
The staff was very nice and polite all the time...we woke up very early to catch the sunrise and the reception guy, clearly just woke up, helped us open the main door while maintain his politeness to us, although I bet he felt a bit irritated coz we made him woke up early, lol...and the breakfast, had good variety, and very fulfilling for hotel in this price range
it is a bit confusing if you come at night, luckily I had my google maps ready so I could find the place. Even then i did make some wrong turn
Location and breakfast.
Staff is not cordial or helpful. The shower box is so lettle that I could hardly wash my feet. By the way, I inform you that I am 1,50m "big"... The room didnt have a frigobar or safetybox. We couldnt sleep because of the noise coming from the street and the bed. Although the breakfast is ok, it is served only till 9:30 (earlier than other hotels) when someone just starts to take away all the food, no matter if you arrived early and is still eating.
Smallest shower I have every had to use. Bed to short and pillows way to hard. Expensive for the services offered.
Excellent central location (10 min walk from Piazzale Roma, crossing 3 bridges). Clean, affordable accommodations in a great area of the city!
Some street noise, as there is a bar nearby. Beds a bit hard. (Neither a big issue in our case!)
Ideal location surrounded by superb restaurants away from the busier parts. Friendly staff Breakfast is ok and gives you a good start for the day
No bar and drinks advertised for sale were not available
Clean houce even it's a little old, good sevice and nice people.
I don't recommend here if you take a luggage, it's a long way from railway station. And more than three brige you have take luggage up and down，like a coolie.
