Decent room

WiFi didn't always have a strong connection. Not enough space for everyone at breakfast - had to take a few items up to room and eat it there.

We chose the Hotel as it was very near to the San Basilio Cruise Terminal but in walking distance to the Grand Canal. It was very quiet, comfortable and clean, breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and "homely" hotel. Located in a quiet part of Venice but close enough for an enjoyable walk to the heart of it.

A little off the beaten track so somewhat difficult to find if arriving late.

Great location in a nice quiet area away from the insanely busy tourist areas, but convenienty close to the water taxi. We liked that it was just a short walk to the very cheap cafes and bars near the university square Sestriere Dorsoduro where tourists don't get ripped off!! : )

It was pretty cheap in comparison to the others, and that was the high season aswell, the breakfast was satisfying , the staff was nice, the room's ac was fully functional, which was great, the room was incredibly clean and tidy, much more than I expected.

Breakfast is provided and it's decent; save a lot since Venice is expensive. Staff is friendly if requested for assistance.

They don't provide shampoo and conditioner and they don't change your towels.The walk is quite far from the main water taxi route. But very close to the Grand Canal if you know the short cut

The Tiziano hotel, although somewhat out of the way, was quiet and comfortable. It allowed us to explore a part of Venice we probably would never had seen otherwise. Quiet, comfortable, unassuming but not luxurious, the Tiziano was perfect for a family trip. We stayed in one of their apartments, which are right around the corner and over on the other side of a small canal. Charming but not romantic.

I was lead to believe there was wifi in the rooms. In fact there was only internet service (wifi) in the hotel lobby. This made life a little more complicated, but also a little simpler.

Impressive size of room and comfort for a city location. Good breakfast set us up for a day of sightseeing, and very helpful, friendly and professional staff.

We really liked the location, being in a quiet area of Dorsoduro it keeps all the Venetian charm without the crowds of tourists, I found it a a very pleasant and relaxing area for walking, much better than the busy areas of San Marco. At the same time the main attractions (San Marco, Rialto, etc.) are at walking distance (30 minutes max.). And you also have a vaporetto stop nearby where many of the main lines stop. The breakfast was also ok, not a wide variety to choose but at least the quality was acceptable.

There was mainly one issue with our 2-night stay, and it is that the room was full of flying ants, particularly the bathroom. It is a seasonal thing I believe, and it may be worse than usual in Venice, but still the condition of the room was not acceptable. As it was late and all the rooms were full the lady in the reception offered to clean the room, and she used a strong ant killer (mind you, my wife suffers from ashma and struggled all night). The morning after the room was fine and they said that they would check the room in the afternoon. They did not offer us an alternative room. When we got back in the evening the room was terrible, dead ants everywhere, even in the bed linen and in our bags. They tried to argue that they had offered us a different room that morning, when there were no ants on sight. They hadn't, and by that time all the hotel rooms were fully booked again. Anyway, it all ended up with a 12% discount or so, which didn't make up for it as for the same price we could have paid a basic hostel with better quality and staff. Terrible stay.
