Hotel TizianoCorso Vittorio Emanuele II,110, Pantheon, 00186 Rome (Show map) Good, Score from 98 reviews“Fantastic location - all major sightseeing spots within walking distance. Room size and maintenance are satisfactory. Breakfast is more than sufficient - nice and cozy dining room, excellent coffee/capuccino. Bus #40 and 64 stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to Termini Station or the Vatican. Great value for the money. I picked it based on other people's reviews and was not dissappointed.”

The wonderfully positioned 4-star Tiziano Hotel is set between the nearby attractions of Largo Argentina and Piazza Navona, in the heart of the historic center of Rome. The hotel is close to the exclusive, commercial area of Via del Corso. Most of Rome's main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel itself is set in a historic, elegant palace of the 19th century, which is part of the national heritage. Many public buses stop in front of Tiziano Hotel. From here, you can reach Termini Train Station and the Vatican City in just a few minutes. Further on, about 100 yards from the hotel, you can find the bus stop for a scenic tour of the Eternal City. Friendly staff will welcome you to this elegant hotel where you can choose rooms with panoramic views and enjoy modern comforts. The hotel restaurant offers typical Roman cuisine. It is open Monday to Friday for both breakfast and lunch from 7am until 3pm. Extended dinner service is available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon-9pm. The restaurant is closed Saturday and Sunday. Hotel Rooms: 50

Friendly and efficient service, convenient location, quiet room despite being in the city centre. I think the breakfast, although complimentary, could be a bit mmore imaginative.

The hotel was centrally located and we walked to the Vatican as well as the colisseum. The included breakfast was adequate. The hotel staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We stayed on the 4th floor room 409 and the drain in the shower did not work. They sent a man up to fix it and it began to drain properly. However, the choice of water temperature was scalding hot or freezing cold. It could not be adjusted properly. I mentioned this to the man who fixed the drain and he said it was okay. It's a good thing we had friends staying at the same hotel because I used their shower instead of mine. We also noticed many paint chips on the floor outside the room near the elevators which had fallen from the ceiling.

Location, value compared to other options in the area. Room was not quite as nice as I thought it would be, but again for the value and location, it fit the bill.

The hotel is very central. All of the city sights are within easy walking distance. We were on the fourth floor and there was no air-conditioning in the corridor outside of our room.

The staff were instrumental in helping us retrieve our lost luggage from Alitalia - no where else on our trip in Italy did we receive such interest in our well being and service. The hotel was convenient to most if not all major attractions and right on a bus route. It was quiet and clean and offered a decent breakfast. I have no complaints at all about the property and would recommend it to travellers in the future. No wine glasses in the room. There was even only one real glass in the room - two would be better :)

Superb location withing walking distance of most of the major sites of interest. Good quality breakfast for a continental hotel. We had to move our room after 1 night, and the second room was not acceptable. Eventually we were moved to the Sala, which despite being a bit of a dungeon, was largs and clean and the air con was working well. While waiting to check out we saw another customer being told that they would have to move room after 1 night. We suspect the hotel was totally over booked with no room for problems.

Hotel staff knowledgeable and welcoming. Lovely decor in the lobby that made waiting for my companions a treat. Breakfast: fresh fruits, top quality ham and cheeses, delicious pastries, variety of cereals, excellent coffee anyway you wanted it. Beds very comfortable. Good pressure in shower. Quiet enough even though we were on street side. Convenient walk- 15-30 minutes from Colesseum and in other direction, Sistine Chapel. For people living on the west coast of US, used to wide busy streets: On a map of Rome, the street Corso Vittorio Emmanuel appears be very wide; it is only two lanes going in each directions. If I am lucky enough to get back to Rome I would go back to Hotel Tiziano I can't say the same things about the other hotels I stayed at in Italy.

Staff, especially the night porter who made us an excellent cappuccino when we had to leave the hotel at 5 am. Our room was 102. The parquet floor (in front of the bathroom) needs repair. The mattress on the right side of the bed is compromised half way down the long side.

The hotel location was the only good point. I reserved a room around 2month back for a triple person when I went there I was told that the room is not available. I was given a single and double room with the same price. The double room was not so clean. The shampoo in bathroom was used. Breakfast was poor and not good. The elevator was not working properly and it took a lot of time to come down. Also it was dirty inside. I will never come to this hotel again because it doesn't reach expectations as a 4 star hotel should.

The Good- Excellent location with friendly and helpful staff. Our quad room was also very big. The Bad- Our room smelt very bad. This was partly due to an extremely smelly fridge that was changed on request. This helped but there was still a bad smell. It was either from the air conditioner or the smelly bathroom that had leaking water dripping from ceiling! Would probably not stay again at this hotel. For a 4 star hotel it certainly is not as good as 4 star hotels in other parts of Italy.

The location was great. We walked everywhere rather than taking the metro, buses, or cabs. The in unit ac was nice also. The shower (compared to some of the other places we stayed) was nice. The room was kind of small. The hotel could be updated.

great location Was not worth it for the price we paid. Very expensive for an old hotel with uncomfortable beds, outdated rooms and mold in the shower. They also screwed up our reservation on the first night for 2 adults/2 kids and had to put us in two separate rooms (and we had to change rooms twice after that because the air conditioning was broke in one of the quads). They did not reduce the price for our inconvenience and were not apologetic. Good for tour groups but would not stay here again.

It was very close walking distance to many attractions and close to bus routes as well. The food at the free buffet was little more than coffee, croissants and fruit and was not very filling. The "four star hotel" was really only a two star hotel because the room does not look like the pictures on the internet. It is way overpriced for what it is and extremely disappointing. To top it off, they imposed a 3 euro a night per person tourist tax just to be in Rome, therefore increasing our hotel fee another 12 euro a night. We talked to some other people in Rome who did not have to pay this at their hotels.

The location was excellent. Could walk to most historical sites in Rome. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were air conditioned and they had wifi. The free breakfast was great to start the day. The hotel was a great choice for us. We booked a quadruple room but they did not have any available so they gave us 2 rooms for the same price. That worked out great for us.

Location of the hotel was convenient to all major sites. Situated on a busy street but rooms were quiet with windows closed. When we arrived in our room, we found a beautiful platter of fresh fruit (pears, apples, melon, oranges, bananas & kiwi). It lasted throughout our 4 night stay. Breakfast was included as well as free wi-fi in the rooms. We requested 2 rooms next to each other as we were traveling with our daughter & niece. The hotel accomodated our request. The staff was friendly & helpful in recommending restaurants, etc. Although clean, carpets and some areas showed their age. As I had read in other posts about Italy hotels in general is that that may not live up to our expectations of a 4 star hotel.
