The heating is too noisy to sleep
location, staff, request for quiet room.
Heater. In early December, the room was still cold even though the heater was tunrned on to the maximal level (5).
very clean room pleasant and helpful manager good interior Very good location near the Porta Nuova railway station
- excellent location - simple facilities but clean - very friendly staff
- no tv - wifi signal very weak or no signal at all
This is a really great hostel. It is close to all major tourist sites. I stayed in a single room with ensuite bathroom which was really lovely and much better value than some expensive hotels I have stayed in. All facilities are excellent - bfast, kitchen, laundry, coffee/tea and wifi. Best of all were the amazingly friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are staying in Turin.
Possibly the best backpackers hotel I have ever stayed in.
Nice location, very near the historical centre, super helpful staff, very clean and nice bathrooms, neat common room, generally clean and pleasant.
Not enough electrical outlets! Most lamps in my room didn't work.
I liked the fact that it was centrical and also that the staff was very helpful.clean room free wi-fi connection in the rooms...
staff, bicycles, interior, cheap drinks in bar, free tea, books in living room, kitchen.
more information on working hours in area (shop - pizzeria - bars). some details for handyman
10 min walk from the city center Friendly staff Big room and bathroom Nice little restaurant 10 m from the hotel
Breakfast was bad. We were recommended to eat out breakfast across the street in a small cafe where we were to get a 10% discount. Food there was bad. My bf ordered a toast and a cup of coffee. The toast was burned and the coffee was not drinkable. I got a croissant and a cappuccino. Cappuccino was ok, the croissant was tasteless. Don't go there.
I was impressed by this hostel's proximity to the train station; hardly 10 minutes walk. The street it lies on is adorned with useful little shops, including one of the best pizzerias I've ever eaten in! The park is very close as well, which is a scenic route to the north of the city. When I arrived, I had booked a dorm bed, but the lovely lady behind the counter gave me a free upgrade to a single room! I was properly chuffed. The room itself was perfect; decent size, totally clean and with a good bathroom. The bed was pretty comfy, and bonuses include a fantastic balcony to sit on, very refreshing fan and a clothes rail. The downstairs facilities of this hostel are spacious and comfortable, including a small but well equipped kitchen, the best collection of 'Rough Guide' travel guides you've ever seen and a table football table. Really I can't recommend this place enough!
Just be careful to lock your balcony door, as the balcony is shared between 4 rooms. It's unlikely that fellow guests will be shady types, but you never know... When I stayed there was not much activity on the lower levels so I didn't make any new travel friends, but this might change from night to night and I'd hardly blame the wonderful hostel.
This was a great place in every way. The personnel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance from the center and in an interesting area with lots of restaurants. The hostel is decorated so tastefully. It's a really cute place. It was clean. What more can you ask for? I would definitely stay here again. The price is extremely reasonable. I had a single room with ensuite shower. WiFi worked perfectly.
Hard to think of anything. A big person might complain that the shower stall is on the small side, but it was no problem for me. The only thing that did bother me was the light from the street lamp at night. Maybe blackout curtains would be a good idea for people like me who are very light-sensitive when they try to sleep.
I relly like the hotel style! and the guys were amazing! Thery were alwayw willing to help you!
Wifi and location.
Breakfast was poor. Just a toast. Room never cleaned, towels were never replaced and when we complained we were not given new towels and informed that towels are replaced once or maximum twice a week. They told us that this was more of a hostel rather than a hotel. But the price paid was that of a hotel not a hostel. Beds were not made and room never ever cleaned. Shower was broken, no fan or ac when temperature was 29 deg cel. Balcony door broken. Broken plugs with the ever present danger of an electric shock as live wires were exposed. Not even a basic mirror in the room. A hell of a hotel. Pure Italian rip-off.
Very helpful staff. Good location, not too far from the sights and railway. Near to restaurants, cafes. Very clean. Brilliant value for money. Towels, wifi, etc. provided.
Looks newly updated. Very clean and nice rooms and public spaces. Location near station and many restaurant options. Good value for price of room.
Beds were not very comfortable and noise from outdoors/ the hallway traveled into the room pretty easily. I'd still recommend this place despite this.
Pretty nice hotel with very nice staff, special thanks to a guy who received us after midnight
Small beds, breakfast ... hm, for me it was't breakfast
Staff very helpful and kind. Good location; excellent value for the price.
Nice and friendly. young bunch deserves sympathy.
The room has all it gets for its price - but it is packed on an incredible small place. In particular the bathroom ...you simply cannot move in a shower of 50 by 50 cm.
friendly people at the reception desk - excellent position near the central station
