Torre Sangiovanni is a lovely, perfect place to stay and enjoy fine dining. I felt like a "Princess in my Castle". I was traveling alone, stayed for five nights and enjoyed phenomenal food each night. The menu is large and varied plus there is a nice wine list. Breakfast was delightful with wonderful pastries, eggs, meats and cheeses, cereal, etc. Torre Sangiovanni is very central for exploring the area; Todi, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio (the proprietor's suggestion), Siena, Assisi, Montefalco, Spoleto - a short drive to many destinations. The food is great and the rooms are spacious with attention to every hospitality detail; radiant heated floors, towel heaters and extra plugs to recharge electric devices. The WiFi worked perfectly everywhere in the property so I could "iChat" with my husband either in my room or during dinner from my iPad. My room was spotless and the staff is gracious. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with antiques, yet with all the modern conveniences a weary traveler desires. I read numerous reviews for B&B's and hotels in the area before booking Torre Sangiovanni and my comment to anyone looking for a charming place to stay in Umbria is "LOOK no FUTHER." Book a room at Torre Sangiovanni and you will have a remarkable Umbrian experience.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable furnished accommodation in a medieval building next to the medieval tower. The meals were some of the best we had in Italy - with foods and flavours of the locality - gourmet meals reasonably priced. Our host (who may also be the chef?) was warm, welcoming and extremely helpful even coming to find us and guide us to the hotel when we got lost. We had a wonderful time and strongly recommend.

Fantastic hospitality -Rooms superb!

The style of the Hotel and rooms was lovely and the breakfast of meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, cakes, cerial and numberous coffees was fantastic.

Gorgeous setting to relax. Friendly owners, food is fantastic, clean comfortable rooms. A shame we were only there for one night, could definitely have stayed longer.

The facility was very nice, but I have to say that the restaurant was excellent!

Well located for our purpose of visiting Todi and Orvieto. Good air conditioning and pleasant helpful staff. Good choice on the menu and very pleasant ambience. Nice dog

The structure is an old tower perfectly restored, in the middle of the country side. Quiet and peaceful with great food, near the city of Todi.

The location and decor of the establishment is impressive and of very high quality.

Shower was very poor and the TV didn't have a remote.

The countryside location of this b&b is lovely, we had a room overlooking the hills and countryside. The room was fabulous, spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. A real gem. We have stayed in quite a few rural hotels and b & B's and none of them come close to this one. The lady who owns it is delightful and nothing is too much trouble, in fact you felt special rather than just being a paying guest. We will certainly be returning when we're next in that part of Italy.

Quaint and quirky hotel in a small part of an old casle. Great breakfast.

A little too far from Todi, which is a beautiful town. The hotel is in a strange ( not pretty town and round the back of some rather unatractive buildings near an odd modern church . Hotel has no garden, just a patio to serve evening meals.

This is a beautiful historic place in the countryside. The owner Rosary put in a lot of time and effort to bring this castle into the 21st century but preserving the charm of this castle and surroundings. The room is beautifully decorated and clean with ample bathroom space. Our room even has a small reception area. Very charming. The staff were very accommodating . This lace has a restaurant inside . We ate dinner there twice. It was quite good with enough variety. Service was exceptional. We only wish we could have spent more than two nights. We recommend Torre Sangiovanni to family and friends.

Good location but car was essential. Everything was as reported and staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an attached restaurant to the B&B and the food was exceptional. Ate in every night we were there.

Beautiful setting, quiet and tastefully decorated. Owner and staff were friendly and inviting. We particularly enjoyed meeting Kelly - the charming golden retriever. Directions were clear and easy to follow - important as the location is a bit off the main roads. Dinner was delicious with great service.

Food was great and service was friendly and professional.

We could only stay one night but we very much enjoyed the well appointed room and the hospitality .Our room had a wonderful view of the country side and was very tastefully furnished in an old world style .The breakfast is very good ask for the scrambled eggs your host is a mistro egg scrambler.

It,s only personal taste iknow ,but all over Italy there is too much salt in the cooking ,chefs should cook with minimum and allow the consumer to add according to taste.
