Just 215 yards from Saint Mark's Square, the Ca' dei Conti is an 18th-century Venetian residence, reached by bridge over a small canal. It features a charming roof terrace and elegant rooms.

having to move room did'nt get the room we had paid for ,also only thing in the kitchen was two glasses that was it whats the point of a kettle with no cups
It is very close to san marco square and near to many boat area. Male staff are excellent.
Size of rooms Location Baggage storage Murano boat trip Cleanliness
Terrible breakfast Beds not very comfortable Hard to find
The size of the apartment and the location.
There was a kitchen but no cutlery or plates or tea cups. When we requested this from the staff, they didn't respond until we asked the third time.
The direction to the hotel
Location was right in the heart of the San Marco district minutes from Square and Rialto Bridge. Quiet at night, though thunder storm may have dampened revelers. Shops, restaurants, quaint lanes all around. Room ready early at noon and staff took bags for easy storage while we went for a walk. Staff was very helpful and accommodating in arranging a porter and water taxi for an early departure for airport. Incidental costs for porters, bellman, water taxi was high. 40 Euros for the porters could have been applied to upgraded hotel with water taxi access.
Water taxi from cruise ship dropped us off at San Marco Square at Grand Canal. Long jaunt across square to hotel with bags - luckily there was a porter with cart available. Suite was totally devoid of cutlery, dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. It would have been a vast disappointment for anyone planning to use kitchen facilities to feed kids, etc.. Small frig but no ice or trays. Water taxi out to airport left from closer by, but a porter was still essential if one has several cases. Breakfast was a self-serve on the level of a budget property.
- Room design
-No Wi-Fi in the room (And even weak in the common area) - No Coffee or Tea in the room. - Reception and accommodation are relatively far from each other.
friendly staff, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast and prime location!
Location was excellent. The suite was big enough.
The hotel is like a labyrinth. From the reception to our room we had to go three times with lift and we had to go out to the street and than back to the building. Breakfast was very poor, service was terrible.
The location was great. The staff was very helpful. The room was exactly as described.
Impossible to find!!! You have to check in at the San Marco Hotel. No one knows where the suites are. It literally took us hours to find it. We made it to San Marco square just fine but finding it from there was extremely difficult.
Great location, few steps from St.Marco The apartments was very good, clean and nice.
Breakfast was poor, very limited food choice, also breakfast room too small for number of guests
No equipment given we booked a suite with kitchenette ie, cups, kettle.
The hotel is in a wonderful and very convenient location, the apartment we had was spacious and very well equipped.
Upon arriving, it is complicated to check-in in the reception of another hotel of the San Marco chain hotel.
They advertised that they had a shuttle but at the last minute they said they do not provide one. We booked a suite because we were travelling with a 2 year old baby, and we were told we cannot use the microwave in the suite, that we would have to go to the reception if we needed to warm the baby's food at night. Their furniture was so old, and the bed was made of 2 single beds next to each other and the beds were of different heights so uncomfortable to sleep in.
- helpfull staff - possibility to leave our bags in lounge till the real departure
- little bit problematic check-in due to different location - cala view = view on one a very small canal not to the grand canal as expected
Breakfast was poor
Location is very central to key attractions in Venice
Staff is not particularly nice or helpful. Breakfast options are very limited for a 4 start hotel. Internet is only available in the breakfast lounge in the morning (no internet coverage in the rooms or hotel lobby). Overall, not a four star experience, three star at the most.
central location, very close to San Marco square large room
the bed the breakfast "buffet"
I was booked into a double room with canal view. What I wound up with was a luxurious suite with a spacious balcony overlooking the canal. Superb value.
spaciousness of the suite. The location in San Marco square and closeness to shops and attractions. The friendly and helpful nature of the reception staff was exceptional. This was our second stay st San Marco suites.
no tea/coffee making facilities or equipment in the kitchen.
Great location!! Right by San Marco square. The staff was very helpful with directions. Spacious room. Canal views! Very Good breakfast.
Location Size of suite of rooms staff helpfulness
old beds and furniture generally hot plate/kettle but no utensils
Lots of room, nice bathroom, great views. Furniture good.
Needed air turned on and when called down they said Maint had to do it and they had left for the day. So had to open windows and made it very damp and noisy to sleep. But view was great.
Location was excellent. Nice balcony with typical Venice view. Living room size is good.
Only one bathroom for 6 people's room is not convenient. There is no miller in the room and bed size is very small. Breakfast was not very much selections for this price.
