Overview |
Just 20 minutes from Florence airport and one of the first hotels to be built in town, Hotel Toscana is convenient for visiting Prato and attending the Monash Australian University.
A close walking distance from the town’s main sights including the Cathedral and the art galleries this hotel is also just a few steps from the train station, allowing you to plan great day trips into the rest of Tuscany. Florence is just 20 minutes away by train, with trains leaving every 30 minutes, and Pistoia, as well as a whole host of other pretty medieval towns, is also very close by.
Built at the end of the 19th century, Hotel Toscana is run by friendly, welcoming staff who will be pleased to book city tours for you or to help you reserve a table at any of the restaurants nearby.
The hotel bar, with its lounge and well-stocked wine cellar is set in a characteristic Tuscan-style inn and drinks can also be ordered directly from your room.
