Hotel Toscana

This hotel is located in the super center of the city, less than 5 minutes from the train station as well as the Duomo. It's an absolutely unbeatable location. The room was not very big but the bed was very nice and comfy, shower facilities were very good as well. A really great value for the money.

The hotel was not good. Bad linens does not smell or seem clean. The hotel rooms are horrible. I stayed 2 different rooms because of the lack of organization. one of them was looking to the street and it was very noise. The other one wasn't looking to the street but you could hear very noise flush from the other room. The bathroom was too narrow.

Hotel Toscana was extremely poor value. The room itself was very dirty, with dirt on the floor and the walls, and a musty smell in the room. There is a bar directly below the hotel so do not pick this hotel if you want to get any sleep before 3:00am! The "french bed" (supposedly for two people) was the size of a single. I highly recommend finding another place to stay.

Convenient location and reasonable price

The room is too small and the bathtub was a bit dirty.

Booked in advance for my backpacking trip- great location! walking distance to all major sites, friendly and helpful staff.

A very handy location within easy walking distance of main sights and close to good restaurants. Very obliging staff.

If anything a bit noisy in street below

Hotel Toscana is very near to center of Florence. Hotel and surroundings are quiet.

Hotel is very basic, but value for money is OK.

Really nice hostel, near train station, hospitable staff. Clean and quite room. The bahroom is really clean and new!!! The breakfast is yummy as well. Strongly recommend the place.

Good location,very close to the central station and the main attractions,confortable bed (frenchbed),bathroom OK.

The room was a little bit dirty(too much dust under the bed and at the window);breakfast poor;awfull smell at our arriving.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and had enough English to answer all our questions. The room facilities were quite good. As the weather was nice we did not have to use air conditioning but I guess it may come in handy in the summer. The bathroom was clean and everything was in working order.The room was pretty quiet so we had no trouble getting our rest.

I suppose breakfast would be OK but you need to get up early to have it. Although theoretically you can eat between 7.30 and 10.00, there is hardly anything left after 9.00.
