Location was great
Noisy street in the morning
location and price
just two shared bathroom for 4 bedrooms
Great location due to the distance from the train station and the Duomo. Has a small cozy lounge, which is a nice way to meet other travellers
Close to main station Good eating opportunities close by Easy to book online
Overall, a bit tatty Rooms noisy and stuffy Internet rather erratic Although room chosen was not the cheapest, we were allocated a small room with limited internal space Bed needs renewal
Localisation Staff correct
Limited Confort I was on the dormitories with windows on the street and it was noisy
The location is good.
The bed is not comfortable. Room is small. Wifi is not available in room. And they actually changed me to another hostel.
There must be an issue with the hygiene, first one girl in the same dorm as mine then one day later me has been bitten by some mosquitos or worms - all our bodies covered in bites. Strangely enough 2 people in the same time and place....I'm sure something can be used against it if it is common in old buildings but...
Hotel is very tired
Nice Location Nice Environment Helpful staff
Very Small room Towels weren't changed in our 4 day staying
Crispy clean sheets, Location very central, 5 min from Duomo 4 people in one room for 90 euro not bad.
Decor a bit dull and 70's Shower no cold control. A bit noisy until the bar downstairs in the steert shut
1 location (3 min walk from the center and the train station) 2 price 3 little cafe nearby where we could eat for a VERY reasonable price (comparing to the rest of Florence cafes and restaurants)
You get what you pay for. Do not expect a two star hotel with a room for 60 euro a night to be something of a high standard. Among the negatives are: 1. breakfast was at another hotel. Close, but you still had to walk to it. It cost 3 euro, for which you get cold coffee, 1 croissant, cornflakes (tasted like paper) and some kind of an orange water with a remote taste of orange juice. 2. Noisy street. A couple of bars/cafes downstairs with people talking, laughing, screaming until 2 am. 3. Room was more of a closet than a room. No sound isolation. You hear every time neighbours go to the toilet, shower, walk, sneeze etc etc etc. 4. The toilet was an adventure! The pot is located half under the sink so one needs to have some acrobatic experience to sit on it. Going #1 was managable. Going #2 was a challenge. 5. Service is C-. Polite, yet it could be so much better if people smiled.
worst service I've ever experienced. they charge on everything. wifi("luckily" I could use it free), keeping my luguage. ect. staff are not kind.
Not a hotel, it's a hostel
that staff cleaning toilets with CHLOR !!! so that when u enter room eyes get pain!...they shoul use different desinfection/cleanong for the bathroom...
It's well located, near Florence downtown. They have kind staff.
Rooms very crowded, little space to walk between beds. My bed was under a window's door, so it was dangerous to hit it with my head. The hostel is in a diiferent building than the Toscana Hotel, in the next street.
The people (other stayers)
Some parts unclean. Was told upon arrival that we would be staying at a different place (still owned by them) but inconvenient. There is a lady that throws things at you if you don't keep absolutely silent. I couldn't get any wifi
Cleanliness is a must. And change the sheets
Excellent location near the train and bus station. Friendly staff.
The rooms are a little bit dirty and overbooked. The beds are sometimes broken. I had to leave the room because of infection issues. If you pay a little more, you can have much better around.
A few minutes walk from the train station and located close to all points of interest.
The hotel is dark and dingy. The rooms are tiny and extremely basic. The light shade was covered in what looked like grease. The bathroom was unbelievably tiny, I'm not sure why the hotel have insisted on fitting it with a bidet when there's clearly not enough room. If I could have retracted my booking when I arrived I would have done. I think for a few more euros there is much better available. We made sure that we spent as little time as we could in the hotel as it was so grim. The room was so tiny we had to rearrange the suitcases to get in and out of the door. Probably not the best from a health and safety point of view!
The person on the night shift was extremely rude. The headboard on 1 of the rooms almost fell on our heads. Bathroom door didn't close.
Hotel is abit old but is ok
Staff was helpful. Located near the center of activities and train station.
A bit seedy with dirty carpets and walls. The directions on how to get to the hotel were all wrong and if I had not asked someone, I would have been very lost.
Fantastic staff! Great location. Very simple room, but nice and clean.
Air condition not working, TVsize 15cm, bed disaster-every spring could be felt
The location near the train is very convenient for getting in and out. It is very close to the centre with all attractions. It was quiet in the evening from the street. The staff were very helpful.
The hostel is on the other side of the street from the hotel and another guest was disruptive in the night. The wifi wasn't working. The bathroom was very small and heavily used.
