The apartment was charming and we shared it with my daughter and her little family so we were altogether yet had our own en suite rooms. Absolutely perfect for exploring the town.
Hated the Mosquitos, but I think it was pretty bad everywhere.
Quaint design and décor, but clean and comfortable. Brunella is very friendly and helpful, with limited English. Good security. Restaurants nearby. Bakery and general store right there. Small bathroom but hot water. Felt like locals, which was lovely.
Some street noise at night as it's on a busy intersection and above a Trattoria. WiFi was sketchy some of the time. Parking is not easy to find and involved a long walk after stressful entry to find the place (directions were good but we drive on the left!) No aircon, but fans provided.
Comfortable pretty room, friendly host, great location in the middle of the old town. Would stay here again.
Host was excellent and Brunella speaks fair English. Room was beautifully set up with an attention to detail. Great location to base the tour of Tuscany. Wifi was good but a bit slow. Hint: tour the town in the morning and tour the region in the afternoon retuning after 6:30pm otherwise you will have to pay for parking 15 euro per day.
Parking in the area surrounding the town
We really enjoyed our time in this hotel and Brunella, the hosts, made it even more especial! I can't wait to come back to San Giminiano!!
For 3 tired cyclists who had managed the uphill bike ride to San Gimignano from Florence, this accommodation was a dream. We had a nice welcome. We could store our bikes downstairs and the room was very comfortable. The street view was a treat. Would highly recommend this.
We absolutely loved our time here, right in the heart of San Gimignano. Brunella was amazing, very friendly and provided us with some wonderful local knowledge including the amazing bakery where we had breakfast. The room was pristine clean and so homely, would definitely recommend Brunella's place.
Brunella is an excellent host. She greeted us with a big smile and was very accommodating. She recommended a nice place to eat just outside the town wall that was very reasonably priced and had good food (Trattoria da Giacco). She gave us directions to free parking that wasn't too far of a walk. The room was very comfortable, we loved the soft sheets and quilt, and it was a good size. The bathroom was also a nice size. The B&B is on the quiet side of town and only a short walk to the town center. Although Brunella advertises no Internet, we were able to access an open network during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!
The room was a little noisy when other guests are in the shared kitchen.
Friendly host, such a quaint B&B with good shared kitchen, super clean
Brunella is the most welcoming hostess who makes sure your stay is perfect. She even rang round to find open restaurants for us and stored our bags until we were ready to leave in the afternoon. The room is attractive, clean, cosy in winter, a good size and you couldn't get a better location off the main street of the mediaeval town. It is also within reasonable walking distance from the bus. The kitchen is also well-equipped for cooking holiday meals should you wish to.
Nothing. A perfect place to stay.
It was like a room from a fairy tale.
There was no TV in the room.
