* Good location - 5 minutes to walk from Termini railroad/subway hub / trade center: 30 minutes to walk from main city tourist attractions like Colosseo and Piazza del Popolo (center of Rome is very small). * Cheap. * Warm enough at winter, although air conditioning system, if you need it, is available only for extra money. * Desk in the room, so you have the place to work with your notebook. * Good beds. * WiFi is available (for additional payment). * Very cheap Chinese restaurant around the corner (of course, a lot of other restaurants and cafeterias are available in the neighborhood, as usual in Rome). * Excelent choice if you do not expect to find anything else besides a bed to sleep at night. * Noisy - rooms windows face a street, which is small but noisy nonetheless (heavy traffic day and night). This seems to be a common problem in the center of Rome (a lot of narrow noisy streets, and no quiet courts). In addition room doors and wals are transaudient, so every sound from corridor penetrates them with ease. This also seems to be a common problem for cheap hotels not only in Rome, but around the world too. This is not a big problem if you don't mind using earplugs at night. * Stone floor in the room - bring your own slippers with you. * Fixed shower.

good for the budget. there are radiator in the room, it's not cold at night. it was the most warm hotel in Italy. close to the termini station(near platform 24) delivery service for breakfast(croissant with cream , coffe and cookie) flushing the toilet is not easy. and plumbing has a little leaking problem- no safety box in the room. the elevator is old-fashioned(but it's not a big deal) need to pay using wifi (5 euro)

Very close to the Termini railstation, in the center of Rome. Simple furniture but ok: a bed, a cupboard, a table, TV. Room for one single person, large enough; you can make very dark even during day, therefore is easy to sleep if you're tired. Very good price(at least half of that practiced by the *** hotels, this being a ** one) The room smell was bad even if it seemed 'cleaned'- had to let open the door of the balcony for half-day, so that it passed; WC cover falls your back; poor breakfast(1 croissant+ juice + cafe/cappucino/tea) served in room

The only thing that was attractive about hotel was location, conveniently close by Roma Termini station. Also the room was clean but shabby. The hotel stuff spoke english barely. Breakfast was close to nothing- cup of coffee and bun. The room was shabby, very old furniture smelling musty. The walls were very thin, so the outside noise was very audible at the night. Elevator in the old building of the hotel was pretty old and scary.

Great location - just 15 min walk from the center, small but very nice and clean room with a private bathroom, very polite and friendly staff - 10000 grazie alla donna che ogni mattina portava la colazione alla camera! They change towels every day and there are 4 towels in a bathroom. The hot coffee and croissant was a nice start of a day. *to whom it may cencerne (now I mean russians who don't speak any other language) - try to keem your TAGIIIIIIL inside and the life will be easier. Paid internet. As it's really hard to find a free wifi in Rome it will be great to have an internet at least in a hotel.

Touring exceeded my expectations, I did not regret my choice. It is extremely well-located: very close to Termini and a metro station and a walking distance from most tourist attractions (I walked all the time and only took metro once - to get to Vatican). The area felt safe in the evening, despite being close to the train station (I was never returning very late though). The staff was very nice and friendly, and always there. The room is clean (and it was cleaned every day) and has everything one needs, even a tv set. The bathroom is small, but clean (the shower is functional, the towels are fresh). You can choose at what time you'd like to have your breakfast (do not forget to ask the receptionist the night before), and it is served in your room: coffee of your choosing and a fresh croissant. It is a perfect light breakfast for those, who like me prefer to have a full and delicious lunch later on somewhere in city. Anyways, if you feel hungry, there's a guy selling all kinds of drinks, snacks and fruit right near the hotel door, and a cafe across the street. All in all, this hotel offers a good value for money and is a good option for solo budget travelers like me. My room (No. 3) was very close to the front door, so I could hear the door bell ring and occasionally people talking. You should keep that in mind, if you have trouble falling asleep. But for me after a day of walking around it was not a big deal.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a few minutes from Rome train station and subway. It is also very close to Ancient Rome, and you can walk 20 minutes to reach Colosseum, Palatine Hill, etc. After we slept one night at the hotel, they kept our luggage for almost 1 day while we were sightseeing the city. If you want to see the Rome and just come back at nights and sleep, this is definitely an excellent choice. The toilette and bath were in a compact 1.5m x 2m area. You must be an acrobat to get in! Side note (not really a con): The hotel uses pre-authorization, meaning that they block the amount of money in your credit card and then charge you when you check out by finalizing the transaction. So, you must have the total amount of money in your credit card before reserving this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main train station and a metro stop, so it was easy to get around from the hotel. The hotel is decent, but it is really the case of you get what you paid for. The hotel was relatively inexpensive, but there are no luxuries at all in the room.

great location- close to termini station where also the tourist bus has its stop and 30minutes walk to the centre, very close to the metro stop as well! really nice room with bathroom, 3 towels which they changed every day, what i have read in other comments about the noise- we didn't experience it, there was a bell ringing, but as we arrive to hotel always after midnight and woke up before 8, we didn't have any problems with noise

Loved our stay at the Hotel Touring. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was very big and great value for money. Just around the corner from Termini station and close to shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were great, always asking if everything was ok with the room. Room was much bigger than the usual budget hotels rooms on offer around Termini Station and every day it was cleaned. Heating in room so it was cosy for this time of year. Did not notice air-con so could be a bit warm in summer. Bit noisey at night with restaurants finishing up & in the am traffic and bin trucks. I didn't mind but some light sleepers would.

Clean room, good location, friendly staff. There is a good chinese restaurant, over the street. Every morning at 7 o'clock we heard a strange noise in the hallway, something like moving the dresser.

If you can kindly have the room floor carpeted then it would very comforting for the guest as it was very cold to walk on the floor from the washroom. The breakfast was very less in amount compare to the amount we pay the price per room. The location was wonderful......staffs were helpful and speak English.....thank you..........Gracia

It was in a good location; close to trains, metro and tourist buses. It was nice and clean, comfortable room. The only thing was the door bell, we had a room close to the front desk. We could hear the bell when people came in at all times of the night.

Grrrreat location, 10 minute walk from termini metro/train station. Cheap price. Good staff, clean rooms. Paid internet. The single bed was an actually single bed in the sense that only one person fit, too small.

Very well priced for Rome. Near to the main train station and walkable to the ancient sites of Rome. Room was perfectly acceptable and the bathroom was good. Hard to complain as its a budget hotel but there always seemed to be a lot of noise coming from the corridor into our room. I think we were supposed to get breakfast as well and nothing was said when we arrived. On our last morning we were woken at 8 by someone bringing it to us in our room saying it was included. It was only a croissant and coffee in any case but we should have asked about it sooner.
