This B&B is in the most perfect location possible. Just a few steps away from the Duomo and 3 minutes' walk from the station, it's close to everywhere that you may want to possibly visit. It is so clean and professionally kept, that it felt more like a 3 star hotel. I had a fabulous stay and if ever in Florence again, will definitely stay here.
perfect place, everywhere is close and possible to go on foot, like Duomo, Uffizi or station. Room was larger than I expected, and mini kitchen was nice, too. kind staff too. Toilet was also good and large. really nice room for the price.
Good location!!! Comfortable room !!!
Nothing to declare !!!
Perfect location. So close to the station and all the best sights in Florence. It was wonderful being woken up by the campanile bells at 8.00. Not too early!
The location is amazing: 1 minute walking from the Duomo, 10 minutes maximum from the train station and in a great street for the shopping and the restaurants.
Honestly the only problem was the wifi. Our room is so far from the wifi router so we were not able to use the Internet and we were obliged to go outside the room at the reception hall to have an internet access.
Fantastic guest house so close to everything. Large room and excellent sound proofing if you wanted it. Otherwise open the window and listen to the church bells!
This Athol I liked everything! I am very happy. There is nothing that could cause problems. Located in the center. I was walking around Florence on foot. The place is just wonderful!!!))))))))
Lovely staff, great location to everything. Smallish Rome but typical for Venice. St Marcos 100mtrs away. Great restaurants nearby. Great breakfast. No noises about.
No view. Poor WiFi reception.
Great price, large room, empty fridge (not the usual full of overpriced stuff), quiet (apart from church bells) and great location seconds from the Duomo and not far from the train station. We loved our stay here.
The only thing we could say as a negative is that we couldn't have a sleep in because of the chimes from a nearby bell tower - but you'd get this probably anywhere in Florence and no fault of the hotel!
Great facilities and friendly staff. Room was very clean with modern decor. Lovely bathroom all excellent condition.
I would recommend the Tourist House Battistero to anyone staying in Florence. We had a wonderful stay - fantastic location, close to all the key sites and very close to the train station. Clean room, friendly staff and a very peaceful sleep. Fantastic city, fantastic stay.
I liked absolutely everything. The location is amazing, easy to reach from Santa Maria Novella. Will definitely stay here again if a ever go back.
No breakfast, sleeping with open windows is totally impossible since the street is busy and there is some disturbing light box somewhere which makes terrible noises and the Mosquitos are disastrous. But that's the problem of the location and not the hotel.
great location next to duomo great host
Location so convenient I could stop off to use my own bathroom during the day. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Room was much nicer than I expected for the reasonable price. I had to arrange ahead for a late arrival and it was easy.
No breakfast but tea/coffee in the room. Just have to remember to have food with you.
Location was awesome! Room was bigger than I expected and lovely and clean. Plus cheap bottles of water available. Great room and really good value for money. Great communication from owners prior to my stay including good directions from the train. Can highly recommend.
When I arrived I couldn't get into the place. I had been emailed entry instructions but the guest who left before me had locked the door. I called the numbers provided and had some language difficulties. After 2 phone calls and a 45 min wait some other guests arrived with a key (I hadn't been issued mine yet of course) and was able to let me in. Not really owner fault but pretty frustrating after a long day travelling
Although the staff are not always present on site, they are very helpful and responsive.
Hotel Room is extremely nice
Very cozy and excellent location, close to everywhere.
Location excellent to all sights and also travel links.
Big bathroom, good cooking facilities and intensils supermarket close, very comfortable bed and our room at back was very quiet.
Wifi marginal in our room. Kettle missing.
Excellent location.. we could do as we please. Nice and clean
Gabriela and her family are doing a great job in costumer service.Everything you ask you got it.Maps,Tours information and reservation even they gave to me a clock with alarm to wake up early.Really they exceed expectations for their guest. They go further and beyond.Amazing people. Very reasonable price for the room.
perfect location! Room is big and clean!
What a great place! Good size room, very clean and a two minute walk from the duomo!
After booking my stay for two nights, I was immediately emailed by Gabriella with a map and directions from the train station or airport. On arrival I had my hesitations as I was placed in a room near the front entrance but as it is a small place, there wasn't any excessive noise from other people coming in and out. The room and ensuite were lovely. Spotless and spacious with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The location was absolutely fantastic, its a 30 sec walk to the Duomo and a couple of minutes to the food market, San Lorenzo Mercato Centrale. As a solo traveller, the security was great with the main door locked after midnight and a coded door into the reception area (you get your own set of keys and code). The reception isn't manned 24 hours, so its good to let them know the approximate time you're expecting to arrive. When you do arrive, Gabriella gives you her details for when they're not around (she's also very nice!). There was also free reliable Wifi. Wifi in hotels in Florence may be 'available' but doesn't mean it always works. I really enjoyed my stay here, its spacious, clean and convenient, and would stay again.
