Apart from being super close to everything in Florence, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Also, the room was awesome, It had a computer so we had access to the internet 24/7. Comfortable beds and really nice furnishings. I would definitely stay again! |

Location was excellent. Breakfast was nice, typical hotel spread, but with good cappuccino. Having internet access in the room was a great feature. Really nice to provide computers in the room with free internet. The jacuzzi and sauna looked nice enough, but it was too warm to use them. The light situation in the room was so incredibly annoying. There was 20 or so different switches, some on timers, some not. I found it very difficult to sort out how to get the lights on or off. The reading light was the mot annoying, as it timed out after 20 minutes or so and you had to wait for about 5 minutes to get it back on? How weird. I mean, I'm reading in bed, the light goes off and I have to wait... I know it sounds like a strange complaint, but it was irritating. |

Nice people who recommended a fabulous restaurant (accademia) , lovely room, very central, very reasonable prices for drinks from mini fridge and also for snacks to room. The hotel which was on the forst floor was accessed via an old fashioned lift which was lovely. The room was very large and the hotel was minutes from the Duomo and other sights and shopping. |

We stayed for 4 nights in September. We travelled around Italy staying at Naples, Rome, Venice and Salerno - this was by far the best hotel. The room was a very good size, it had blackout blinds and the windows kept any noise out. My boyfriend emptied the mini-bar in each night as it was cheaper than any bar nearby which is practically unheard of! It is in an excellent location with the Duomo at the end of the street, the Accademia 5 mins away, the main train station a ten minute walk and the very furthest main attraction was a 20 minute walk. Free use of the iron. Sky tv, internet and wifi all free!!! I'm being really picky here now but if I had to think up one improvement it would only be that a kettle and tea/coffee supplies be added to the room! But that hasn't stopped me talking my parents into staying here for their holiday :-) |

The Tourist House Ghiberti was cute and centrally located. It was very homey and the staff was helpful. Good size rooms and they are wired for internet and a home theater experience! You get the charm of a bed and breakfast with all the modern comforts! It took a bit for the airconditioning to kick in but once it had some time to warm-up, it was great. |

The hotel is centrally located- very convenient to reach by foot all major sights.Rooms have double glazing and limited TV volume- the room is very quiet and enables a real rest at the end of an exhasting day walk.Clausdio- who runs the hotel was extremely helpful both by mail before arriving- and during our stay- getting tickets to all museoms and sights and advising on any subjects. Dont hesitate- its the best deal you'll have in Florence! |

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was great and quiet for the location. Be aware that the web is good for email, but not much else. It is free! |

Our room was very comfortable. It had many high tech features such as large mounted flat screen TV with cable, computer in room with internet, speakers at the head of bed to use with or without headsets. Each room also had mini bar and safe. The bathroom was well equiped with a good shower and nice bath products and hair dryer. This was really not an issue but if I had to pick one thing in the negative it would be that our room had no view at all. |

This hotel is always wonderful. We have stayed three times now in three different rooms and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful (and speaks wonderful English), rooms are large, clean, and well appointed (computer with free internet access in each room, large flat screen tv, free dvd loans available in many languages, towels and other toiletries included). |

We liked the personal touch in this hotel. They were very attentive and helpfull, f.i. arranged a slot in the Uffizi, tipped us on the excellent tuscan restaurant around the corner. All the appliances in the room were in good working order. Internet fast (not always the case in other hotels we visited in Italy). Sound insulation could have been better: our room was in the lobby, so the usual noises from there good be overheard by us wordly. That sometimes gave us the feeling, that we did not have much privacy. |

We had a really wonderful stay in this hotel! The atmosphere was very family-like and friendly. The personnel is highly motivated and friendly. The location is perfect (just few steps to Duomo). Breakfast (especially coffee) was very nice. They have free Internet access (with PC in the room), jakuzzi, sauna, satellite TV, DVD in room and free DVD collection (even in Russian). |

The hotel manager had an excellent manner, he was first class, he helped us book restaurants and we would recommend his hotel without hesitation. Clean towels every day and we used the hotel jacuzzi twice. Breakfast was very good and we were very comfortable. Quite slow internet access which made chatting online to the kids at home a little difficult. |

The room is so big, so clean, with pretty good conditions that you can use the PC provided to access internet, you can choose interested movies to watch through the DVD provided, you can even look yourself in the mirror when openging wardrobe just like what you do in home.... It's really conformtable and worth recommending. By the way, it's location is also quite convenient and central. |
