staff where friendly and helpful was only a short stay central to all the shops and sights , and railway station was in walking distance
Being sent to an inferior restaurant by quite an arrogant and patronising receptionist.
The location was excellent, right in the city. The air con worked well. Staff were very friendly. Staff cleaned the room and gave us new towels during our stay.
No pool, breakfast was average at best, decor was quite old as we're the beds and there was no common area to chill out. One of the staff members couldn't speak any English and sometimes she was the only around to ask questions.
The location was ideal, the room clean and the staff helpful.
Big room, good breakfast, cleanliness, very helpful in whatever we asked them for (because of our young children we had special needs), they accept credit card while others don't, in general they helped us to have a nice time in Florence.
I try to find something but I can't..
The room number 7 with a balcony open on an interior garden. Kindness of staff. Proximity to Santa Maria Novella.
Small balcony. Good sized room. Air conditioning.
Need clearer directions regarding flushing toilets.
1.weired smell in the room(right in front of reception desk) especially bathroom. 2.first day, we told receptionist woman and cleaning woman that the hole of shower booth is not working,(i cannot turn on water more than 30 seconds) but they didnt listen to me . They just said "look! it work!!! Slow but work! There is nothing we can do beacause this is building problem" two woman was very rude and nasty attitude 3. We told air conditioner works but not cool. The receptionist said its beacause the room is big with nasty attitude 4. Finally, on the last evening of firenze , dirty water from the hole of shower booth was overflowed !!!!!! My bag and shoes wet and waters overflowed beyond the room to aisle till reception desk!!!! After we called to remained number at reception desk, another woman came in 10m. Old woman seemed real master of this hotel wiped up the water with a towel and mop. She said nothing to us like "im sorry", "any dirty item of yours?", "i can fix it so go out and enjoy your last night" and so on... she should have told im sorry first but she just wipe the water . I was really upset 4. It fixed. Pipe fixer fixed it. So it worked well. In numer2, two waman said there is no way to fix it. How rude! 5. Towel is very very thin like a handkerchief. 6. Breakfast was not delicious.
the staff were very rude the room was not clean i still have the smell of the bathroom on my nose... terrible...do not go there...
Excellent location, excellent price
Room no 10 is the attic. Bathroom and bedroom are on 2 seperate levels. Annoying. AC was broken during most of my stay
Located near train station and places of interest Room was clean Good price Had air conditioning, big plus since we were there in the summer
There was a weird scent from plumbing Breakfast was ok, bread and jam/butter
We really loved our room with all these vintage furniture and this bed like on the picture! the bathroom was general ok! we will keep in mind signora Lucia at the breakfast pannel!she was so helpful and outgoing!have a talk with her!
it was a bit smelly the room and general the hotel(maybe because of that red carpet!) but not a big deal! the towels are like paper so bring one with u!
Very friendly and knowledgable staff, able to speak several languages fluently, told me a lot about Florence and Italy, really appreciated our conversation!
Staff is carefull and lovely. Hotel is perfectly situated and easy to find! I would definitely recommand this hotel !
This is a gem in disguise. It is one of the nicest lower priced hotels in Florence. Cristina and staff were wonderful. We didn't sample breakfast because we had to leave too early for it. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have a small fridge. The rooms overlook the courtyard of another hotel so street noise is not a problem as it is in many Florentine hotels. This property delighted us. We chose it because it was close to the train station for a one-night stay before flying home. We will return when next we go to Firenze. I hesitate to let the secret out.
It is a two floor walk-up, but the stairs are nicely carpeted.
Nice location, friendly staff!
Nice and cosy room, excellent breakfast!
Receptionist was speeking poor English, but it was possible to communicate :)
Great location, quiet, big rooms
Towels looked like sheets. Too uncomfortable. No reception during the evening.
Location, cost. For this price it's a good choice for the friends travelling together
service, the breakfast is only croissant with tea, bad bathroom
the hotel is placed 10 minutes from railway and coach station. it is 5 minutes to the dome and you can start from here the other sightseeing. the staff is great, friendly and helping. so if you need a room just to sleep and want to spend the whole day sightseeing - it is a good option. despite the minuses the hotel has I recommend it to the tourists. our group of travellers was quite satisfied with the services provided.
I was the one who booked 5 rooms for our group and received the worst (I think) room (#2). I am very sensitive to noise and our room was facing the main street so we could here all the people talking on the street, I had a feeling that busses are coming to our room, we heard every hotel tourist slamming the front door. I asked if there was another room - double, as we are the couple - but the maid only put together 2 beds, probably she does not understand english well. Also single, twin, triple and quad rooms are decorated simplier than double rooms with nice ceiling and beds. The breakfast is only 1 coffee, 1 juice, 2 pieces of bread, 1 butter, 1 cake.
old building，not bad，cool，but no lift.
Great value, clean, modern and close to Trastevere, Colloseum and more. This is my second stay here.
Area looks a bit seedy but is okay. Room was very hot but I think I just needed to understand thermostat.
The central location is great.
We have not got the room we paid for. The bathroom was narrow and cold, with cables out of the walls and a simple, badly isolated window, therefore we could not take a shower in the mornings. There was a link in the tiny shower, consequently we had the same wet throw rug for the whole stay. Towels were thin, like table clothes. Hot water and heating were cut off when we arrived, since heating is on only from 6 to 12? p.m in late November. Next door hotel's bar is extremely noisy especially until Sundays 1-2 a.m.There is no elevator, so if you can not climb stars and/or you have to carry heavy luggage is better to go elsewhere. Bad price-value proportion. I would never stay there again and I will definitely not recommend this hotel anyone visiting Florence.
The location is good. The room is big.
have mosquitos every night. Too much mosquitos
nothing we like at the hotel REGRET - yes to stay there.
We don't like the room at all coz' its not confortable at all. there is no elevator not good for many luggage coz u got to climb. The towel supply actually is a piece of cloth, horribble u got to go n try urself and the breakfast is worst never come across like that eventhough all hotel we gone thru. please advice the hotel Tourist owner - honestly
