only that we were not staying longer !
Location was great. Rooms are nicely decorated. Of course the person who really made our stay at Townhouse Cavour was the owner Giusippe There was nothing he wouldn't do to make his customers enjoy their stay. Highly recommend this experience to anyone going to Reggio, Calabria. Anita Baselice, Donato Baselice and the Cammarata's. Hainesport, NJ
Town House Cavour Is brilliant! Best place we have stayed. Well located, with everything you need. Giuseppe, goes out of his way to make you welcomed. Would go back. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Reggio Calabria.
THE PLACE IS VERY CONVENIENT THE DECORATION VERY MODERN THE ROOMS ARE REALLY CLEAN THE INTERNET HAS GREAT SPEED THE OWNER IS THE MOST HELPFUL AND HOSPITABLE PERSON I HAVE EVER MET IN ALL MY TRIPS AROUND EUROPE. MY STAY IN REGGIO CALABRIA AT TOWN HOUSE CAVOUR, WAS BY FAR, THE BEST ACCOMONDATION I HAVE EVER HAD
Guiseppe was an excellent host. The Townhouse is a beautifully restored old and gracious building brought up to modern standards while remaining elegant with its high decorated ceilings and original stone floors. The bed and bath linens and all furnishings were of the highest quality. Very comfortable room with balcony, luxurious bath. TV and electronics, wifi. Coffee bar in reception area. Great location in a very walkable part of town, not far from Stazione Centrale metro. For Breakfast Guiseppe brought us to a nearby cafe with a range of offerings. We sat in an area not yet open to the public where we enjoyed the chance to chat with Giuseppe. We would definitely return.
It was a bit difficult to find because not all of the street names are painted on all corners as is the Italian custom. However those we asked for directions were very helpful.
Everything is fantastic! It is misleading to call this place a BB&B. this is a very high end boutique hotel. Only 4 rooms, and the owner spent £280,000 renovating the place and Wow us with every details from custom flooring, ceilings, bath room shower, beddings, and pillows. Love the place and this is the place I will stay every time from now on!
The owner was very welcoming and helpful. He even brought breakfast ( delicious ) to the room. He was available at all hours.
Nothing. Everything was fantastic.
We were so happy with all parts of our stay. The service, decor, and hospitality were outstanding. Our host was extremely gracious and helpful. What a special place to be!
There wasn`t anything we didn`t like.
Excellent location in the centre of town, within walking distance of all tourist sites. The rooms are beautiful and fully fitted with the latest in entertainment facilities. If there is a more attentive host that Giuseppe anywhere in the world, I'd be surprises. He added so much to our stay that we got so much more for our Reggio experience than we would have without him. A hotel and host par excellent.
Parking can be difficult, but Giuseppe knows the ropes and will help.
The owner is fantastic...the room is beautiful and well appointed. Well located to the main attractions, restaurants and train station. The best thing about it is the hospitality of the owner...he makes you feel most welcome, having breakfast with you, advising what to do, where to eat and you end up feeling as if you have made a new friend. The home made cake is delicious...need a taxi his female taxi driver friend is a hoot !
This is an impressive find. This B&B is modern and has every convenience. It is beautifully designed near to shops, restaurants, and the lovely promenade from which you can see Sicily as you stroll. It is a comfortable bed with silk sheets. Breakfast is at a coffee bar up the street and we were able to have anything we wanted so we had our first eggs since leaving home. The host, Giuseppe, was marvelous. He was always helping us and even made sure we made our connection to the ferry to Sicily. You will be happy with this B&B.
Once again we had trouble locating the B&B due to one way streets and areas closed to car traffic. It is worth the effort!
Everything! From our greeting on arrival by our host Giuseppe, the decor and quality of our room, the shower in particular, the location to shopping and tourist attractions made our stay an absolute first class experience. Giuseppe even had Vegimite on hand for two travel weary Australians for good measure.
There is absolutely nothing we did not like.
Townhouse Cavour is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and we have travel extensively over 28 years. The service provided by Guiseppi is second to non. He is out there to provide the best service possible for his clients. We rate this place and a 10 ++.
It is actually a B&B. Hard to find because the entrance is an old door with a sign of Hotel Cavour, but nothing else. We were confused but a guy in front said to press the call bottom and door was opened. It is on 2nd floor. The entrance to get there is scary ugly and definitely needs some painting and needs to be fancied up. Up to the time that you go inside of the hotel, you ask yourself "what hotel did I get myself into?". But, after you walk in, it is amazing. It is a 5 star hotel. Very clean, modern, beautiful, safe. Giusseppe is wonderful, great costumer service, very dedicated. It makes you forget the scary entrance. Room was huge, very clean and comfortable bed, bathroom huge. If I ever had to go back to Reggio Calabria, we definitely would stay there.
Breakfast is not in the premises.Giusseppe will take you 5 minutes across the street into a café and you can eat there.
This was just the best B&B experience we have had anywhere. Our host, Giuseppe, was brilliant finding time to take us to breakfast at a local bar (included in price), having lunch with us and chatting about life in Reggio. We loved his company. The B&B is luxury designed, well equipped, clean and drew a few "Wows" from us. Giuseppe was even able to find a way for us to have free local street parking. We recommend this highly for either pleasure trips or business.
