Nice location, very friendly and helpful owner family, good restaurant with amazing view. Good breakfast. Free parking available. Service staff partly not up to the standard of this hotel. |

The staff were so friendly and kind to us and the service excellent. The room was very comfortable and our balcony had wonderful views. From the hotel the views are stunning, both across the bay to Positano and down the coast westwards, and across the square to the main church. It is wonderfully situated in Praiano which is a small quiet town within a few miles of Positano and Amalfi. We had very good meals in the restaurant - but if you want variety there are several other good restaurants within 400 yards. Like most hotels around here, it's a long way down to the beach, but we didn't feel that mattered. It's well placed for the incredible "Footpath of the Gods" - not for vertigo sufferers! And buses conveniently stop right outside. Great! It is not brand new - but if you don't stay here because you worry about a little plating worn off the taps, in our opinion you would miss a lovely place to stay. |

Location is great, half way between Amalfi and Positano. Praiano is a nice wee town, once you get used to the cars buses and pedestrians all sharing the same tiny road. The view from our room was breathtaking. Best pay the extra and get the view and the balcony. We loved our room! We would stay again. Tramonto D'oro could be improved with a bar. We used the hotel accross the road when we wanted a drink, snack or coffee. There are no computers although there is a great internet place just down the road- 3 euro for 1/2 an hour. Not enough information in the hotel but the best and most helpful information center across the road. |

the staff kindness and availability, the great view from the resturant and the pool (sun is present from sunshine to sunset), good food at the restaurant and good breakfast buffet. Free parking. Very noisy ! We were at the room downstairs and we could hear poeple talking from the other rooms and it was not possible to sleep properly after 8am in the morning due to the noise of doors shutting and maids cleaning. We were at the rooms downstairs, but maybe the room upstairs (the ones with sea view) are better. Besides, the hotel rooms are not moder or stylish for a 4 star hotel. No wireless connection (only ethernet cable) |

Our stay at Tramonto d'Oro was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and assist us in finding our way around the area. The service in all areas is attentive and personal and really gives a great 'family-run' atmosphere. The restaurant boasts absolutely stunning views of the surrounding area, it was such a pleasure to feast on the delicious buffet breakfast whilst taking in the lovely calm morning vista. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, though I would suggest opting for a sea-view room. We could not fault our stay with the hotel, we'll be back one day! Thanks guys |

It was our 20th wedding anniversary and all the staff welcomed us with open arms and treated us so beautifully with a welcome bottle of sparkly. Throughout our stay, the staff made every effort to ensure that our stay was a special one and something for us to remember forever. Even on our departure, the special gifts and warm embrace left us looking forward to returning again. Priano itself and all it's locals, were so warm and friendly, it was the perfect spot to be amongst such beautiful scenery and is truely a magical place to be alone, with a loved one or with family. |

The hotel is located with a bus stop on it's door in a beautiful location overlooking the cliffs. We stayed in a room overlooking the sea with our own private beautiful terrace. The breakfast is not only in a beautiful location but also has a wide range of the freshest and well executed food. Colour scheme of the room was apricot! |

Good location to visit all Amalfitan Coast places, amazing views from the restaurant terrace, free parking (!), but most of all, warm and cosy home-like atmosphere of a family owned hotel. La Brace restaurant next to the hotel is a must visit - enjoyable cuisine and their pizza chef is a virtuoso! Some people, especially olderly, may find it dificult going to two nearby beaches, but it wasn't a problem for us - there's so much to see at Amalfi Coast! Anyway, the hotel has a pool and a spacious deck on the roof. |
