An excellent friendly hotel. Simple but charming.
This hotel oozes charm, it is a typical "old style" hotel.Located about 100 meters from the lakes shore it offers basic but clean and tidy rooms. The breakfast is a typical Italian fare, and parking onsite is an added benefit. You must dine in at restaurant, the service and food are a highlite.
Very friendly staff, for diner we left our dog in the room, but that was out of the question . There was a table for us reserved at the fireplace with a special corner for our dog. Excellent food; fresh local seasonal menu , we will definitely return
Very welcoming and friendly host, as were all the staff. Comfortable room with part view of lake. Easy walk down to the lake. Excellent dinner and very good breakfast.
Friendly staff and great location
Location: middle of hill, difficult to reach by car or on foot. No view from the window. Room: very basic small room without TV, phone, mineral water, etc. wifi is very weak at 2nd floor. The family of hostess left hotel just 20 mins after we arrived. They told us that they just went out for family dinner and should come back before midnight. We were dispointed because we came there mainly for their good reputated family-running restaurant. The whole hotel was empty except my family. We can't find hot water to prepare the milk of my son, the Wifi was weak, no drinks... In fact, we knew from the lady who came to hotel to prepare the breakfast for us, that the hostess family left for 15 days of holiday. I suddenly understood why the hostess 'forgot' to return our passports to us... It's the worst and most expensive hotel for our trip in Italy. It's totally not worth my 110€ for the new year night.
The small city nearby the Como lake.
location, quiet and close to the lake and the Autostrada Friendly staff, maybe a little too close Basic in the right sense. Breakfast, just what you need and good quality
Room could have been warmer
Location and kindness
Wifi does not work well in rooms
We enjoyed our stay, the staff is really nice and the food excellent!
No TV in rooms, but not really needed...
Family run hotel, with a great atmosphere, and nice rustic rooms. On site restaurant is super, as well as the food.
There was nothing we did not like
The Staff were fantastic The food was the best I have ever had It was a 10 out of 10 for us
Very nice family that runs this little hotel and the food is excellent.
There was nothing not to like!
Fabulous friendly hotel simple but comfortable with an excellent restaurant. The hotel is in a great location with parking. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to all my friends travelling in this area.
Sometimes the wi-fi connection felt out but I suppose it was because too many people used it at the same time. With some patience, the connection was back.
Very nice staff and location. The mood of the house is very nice. The food we got was of very good taste and quality. Really an excellent addres.
sorry, I cannot find ONE negative thing on this pearle.
we found this just by looking on internet. It was super on all the line. Fine very friendly staff, nice clean hotel with very good kitchen. Breakfast was super. We were to late on our way back (second stay) and the boss waited without a problem. He even gave us a glas of fine wine for the long trip. Here I will go back, but now not for 1 night but for 3 or 4
This place should be worth double, it's characteristic, charming, cheap and the food that was served at lunch was excellent. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. A real gem and I will definitely be going back.
The breakfast was uninspiring with very dry & hard bread.
Traditional Italian feel, nothing touristy, but a genuine & friendly place with the most excellent home cooked food with equals top restaurant quality but with reasonable prices. All staff are extremely friendly & helpful, hard working & professional. A real delight slightly off the waterfront & the beaten track. I would love to visit again, already looking forward to the seafood & pasta dishes! Daniella & Tomassino are running a great place.
Was in Cernobbio for a wedding. Most of the suggested hotels were incredibly pricey. This was the cheapest of the lot and was absolutely great. The view from out room on both sides was spectacular and the young couple who own the place were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an en suite bathroom and the bed was comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend a visit.
We were on the top floor of three & there is no elevator.
This boutique hotel was THE FIND of our three week vacation in Italy. The owners, Tommaso & Danielle, are a terrific husband & wife team who have assembled a superb staff presenting a hotel well beyond their One Star rating. Their restaurant is first rate with terrific food & great service. Their menu is varied & complete. The homemade smoked salmon & the mussels stew are not to be missed. Our room was small but immaculate along with new bathroom fixtures to enhance the experience. The nearby sights are beautiful & the boat trip up Lake Como to Bellagio was memorable as was Bellagio itself. The personal touches were several & appreciated. Hated to leave this delightful spot !
Food is awesome. Not in the most obvious location, but people travel from other countries just to eat here. Great room with balcony and view over park towards Lake Como. Service great and very friendly. You must eat there!
The location of this hotel is quite central to the town and therefore a good choice. However,it is quite a steep climb back through narrow streets. As there is a bar downstairs there is some noise which might disturb you, particularly towards the weekend.
A very good basic but comfortable hotel, fairly centrally located, Staff were vey pleasant and helpful. Very clean, light and airy with facilities to enjoy a meal inside or out. Bed and breakfast usually included, and lunch and dinner are also available.
The location is spectacular and impeccable service
For some people less mobile, its location about an eight minute walk up a modest grade from village center might be an issue, but as mentioned, that has a plus side too.
.....is how I'd describe my stay at La Vignetta. Owners Tomaso and Danilele could not have been more gracious and helpful and staff person Julia went out of her way to find some local tennis possibilities! Since I was traveling alone, I had an immaculate and cozy small room with single bed - I live near New Bedford, MA and was pleased to see a copy of 'Moby Dick' on the bookshelf! Enjoyed a couple of satisfying meals from their kitchen, besides the excellent provided breakfast. The fact that it's a little off the village center I think is a plus, as it was very quiet at night. The village of Cernobbio itself is both lively and charming, offering surprising shopping, including a RARE well-equipped hardware store, and live jazz and street fairs right by the ferry stop. A wide range of dining options would satisfy any taste.
Cleanness of the room. No Internet in the room.
Parking space for free. Sympathy of the staff.
The dinner was a bit expensive for the given quality.
Very friendly staff, nice interior in the room.
