Only 100 yards from the famous Basilica of San Francesco, Hotel Sorella Luna offers a very convenient location in central Assisi. In a 15th-century stone building, it has free Wi-Fi and refined rooms....

The manager was very helpful and friendly and assisted me with my travel plans. I felt welcome and the free tea and snacks in the parlor were delicious. The hotel itself is very quaint and homey and clean.
First, hostel is very beutiful builing. And has a great view in terace. Tea time and morning service exellent, and staff is so kind(awsome coffee!!) Room and bed are comfortable.
Location is excellent, staff are kind and friendly, especially Stefano, room is so so and reasonable price. Food of the restauran are delicious, not so expensive.
customer service! Stefano was very helpful and nice.
Nothing. The room was very little, but we did not mind.
- kindness of the owner - perfect location - possibility to use facility after check out - discounts offered for the very good family restaurant, parking, museum, etc.. - very comfortable room
- nothing at all
Good simple room in the middle of the old town.
Trattoria affiliated with hotel was excellent and like the hotel was relatively inexpensive.
This hotel gives plenty of extras like tea every afternoon, free laundry, and bottles of water. Plus there is a wonderful little tower room where you can enjoy the views. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The location was ideal as well.
The shower in my room was a bit primitive.
Location is close to main piazza. Stefano was very helpful; even drove our car in narrow streets to their parking area. We arrived early and able to choose between 2 rooms. Loved the view. Good breakfast and coffee to order. Excellent restaurant owned by same family nearby.
Friendly staff, breakfast AND afternoon tea included, close to everything and a beautiful restaurant in the family.
It was difficult to find. They also have a restaurant with the same name. People sent me to the restaurant. I took me a long time to find the hotel. Park your car first at the Matteo parking and WALK to the hotel. It's a mediaval town. it's difficult to drive (narrow streets).
We liked EVERYTHING! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very quaint, right in the centre of Assisi. Will certainly be back and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Stephano is what to like, he is a lovely host of a small inn, perfect at what he does. The cappicino was wonderful and we started each day with such pleasantry. The family restaurant was fantastic, a great meal . Our laundry was done for us all ironed and folded....very helpful and a lovely little town.
The bathroom was so odd with the shower right in with the sink and toilet..almost impossible to use. All to be overlooked however because of Stephano.
At the outset ,may I say this is not my first stay at this very excellent Hotel.I had the good fortune to locate Hotel Pallotta Assisi via the it's website in 2011, and I have enjoyed the hospitality of Stefano and his great staff on my five visits to Assisi. Assisi is an enchanting city ,and my visits there have been enhanced on each occasion by the home from home experience at Hotel Pallotta Assisi. Special thanks to Stefano, Lala, Serena and Giampaolo for a wonderful stay. I am looking forward to my return visit for Christmas.
This B & B is in the center of the old town. Either take a taxi and get to within a short walk, or take the bus and it is a downhill 15-20 min. walk. Beware old town Assisi is on a hill. So you are either walking up or down hill. The B & B has steps, both getting in to the lobby and to the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable. The B & B has a tower with some of the greatest views of Assisi and the surrounding areas. Very good breakfast with coffee to order and home make breakfast pastries. Along with several selections of breakfast items. The staff did everything to make your stay pleasant.
The bathroom is the old small style (sink, toilet, shower all within a 5’ x 5’ area) tight, adequate.
We selected this small family owned Hotel with the help of Rick Steves' book and booking.com rating. We were not disappointed. The location is awesome. The staff were all very nice, the breakfast was served in a cozy little kitchen. You can have free bottle of water all day long as coffee, tea, cookies and pastries. Not to forget the bonus room: The Belvedere TV which is located at the top of the hotel. You will see a beautiful view of Assisi. Useful to know, some steps to manage. Great quality/price.
The shower location: half the bathroom ends up wet after a shower. The size of the room is on the small side but I would still book there again as the pluses heavily outweigh the minuses.
location luxury items in bathrooms lovely breakfast and tea facilities excellent coffee very friendly and competent staff very professional
Beautiful setting, wonderful owner. Treated us like long-lost friends. Facility is spic and span clean. Breakfast was excellent, as was afternoon treats. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Stefano gives personal attention, is helpful and very much available. Laundry can be arranged, care of cleaning lady Lala!
Just a bit noisy sometimes on the street outside.
Stefano was helpful and attentive; he'll even make your cappuccino for you! Lala the cleaning lady did my laundry for me!
Not much; sometimes the street outside was noisy, but it died down eventually.
Amazing view, very centrally located, friendly staff
Very nice proprietor.
Street noise and hot at night.
Location was excellent. This hotel had laundry facilities for very low prices. Our favorite part of the hotel was the beautiful little sitting room with huge windows that overlooked town. Some of our best memories are sitting in these windows and chatting at night.
My only dislike was the bathroom. It was a very small room with an unenclosed shower so the bathroom would get very wet. They would clean it up each day though so it wasn't terrible.
Hotel Pallotta is the best hotel in its segment of 3 star hotels I ve ever stayed. It is a family owned business and family members work there making their job on a very high level. My best compliments! It's so friendly, comfortable, clean, breakfast is good and pretty diverse with home made pastry. Also they have restaurant nearby- don't miss it! Pretty simple but very fresh and tasty food at honest price. Deep respect for doing great job and many thanks to Stefan, Stefania and their parents! Very central location.
The only thing is that there is no partition between toilet and shower which results in all the bathroom wet after you take a shower. But fir me it was not a problem.
The staff of Hotel Pallotta is the best staff ever. Steffano is very gentle manager. The location is perfect, very convenient. It is just a couple of minutes from everywhere in Assisi.
The towels are not regular. Other than that everything was perfect.
