location, size of room and facilities it provided.
there was a sensor light in the room that kept us awake the first night. could not find switch to disable it so taped over sensor.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. Andrea was very accommodating and the room was a great value. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay central in Rome.
1) Andrea has treated us very well, sending us emails almost every time asking if we need anything 2) Location has been incredible! Right in front of the Colliseum 3) Breakfast was really basic but having the view of the Colliseum right in front of you compensates everything 4) Apartment was very modern, good quality furnitures, always very clean 5) Wifi worked very well 6) As there were just three appartment it was always very calm and silence
The location is the best atribute of this hotel. Just in front of the Roman Coloseum, and roman forum the metro station is at the next bolck, one block away of Sain Pietro in Vincoli Basilica ( statue of the Moses of Michelangelo) three blocks from Monti. 15 minutes walking diatance to Fontana di Trevi and a little more the the spanish steps. The hotel was simple but perfect. Confortable rooms for being in europe, clean, exelent bathrooms. Andrea the owner was supper available and helpful. Breakfast simple but good. Its a boutique concept hotel. God hot water and good wifi.
We liked everything about the accomodation, the location was perfect, room was modern and very well fitted out,no complaints and very quiet considering it was in a very busy part of town. Also the host was very welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was very poor with no choice,a small cappuchino and a croissant does not constitute a breakfast in my eyes especially when you have full days out,i"m not after a full english but a little more choice would be good as you are paying a premium for bed and breakfast.
Really enjoyed the room; it was quite large and very clean. Breakfast at the cafe next door was a real treat with an incredible view.
Located close to main attractions. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Room has good sound proofing.
Location, size, cleanliness, set up, This is a 3 room facility, feels like home. Walk out the door to stand across from The Coloseum. 3 restaurants 1 minute walk. Would definitely recommend.
Great location . Clean newly remodeled B&B . Owner and his father were fantastic so helpful !
There is nothing I didn't like
On behalf of my mother-in-law "The Tre R Colossio run by Andrea and his father was a fantastic guesthouse close to all the attractions; the Colosseum is not more than a 1 minute walk across the road! The room was exceptionally clean, bright and modern. The personal feel of a smaller guesthouse suited me better than a large hotel. The private bathroom and shower was welcoming after a long days sightseeing. Busses to get around the city are plentiful and stops are very close. Breakfast is taken in the adjoining cafe next door to the Colossio and was included in the price. The coffee and croissant was high quality and a great start to the day. The owners are lovely people and cannot do enough to help you- without their help my stay would have been a disaster due to lost luggage. Andrea and his father went far beyond what was needed to get my cases returned. Travelling on my own (which I have only done once before) they put me at ease and made my stay all the more enjoyable. I would certainly recommend the Tre R Colosseo, and would never stay anywhere else in Rome. Thanks Andrea, would hope to see you again." Elizabeth Mcshea
I highly recommend this place. It's in an excellent location. Literally across from the Colosseum and closed to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Andreas was wonderful and gave us all the information we needed to go around Rome. He also provided us with a portable wifi that helped us when walking around the city. Wonderful place.
The apartments are beautiful - old fashioned building with neatly arranged clean apartments. WiFi working perfectly. Right in front of the building there is a nice restaurant with happy hour in the evening. Excellent mediterranean cuisine.
Amazing localization near everythink. Team so kind and hospitality. Best regards as possible.
Very nice clean room, quite with restaurant & bar next door, very close to metro, colosseo, etc. The staff was excellent and provided maps with info & directions to places we were going to vist and they even had good suggestions for places to visit as well. We will definately recoomend Tre R Colesseo to friends. Plus if we visit Rome again will definately try to stay there again. Alma Rosa Reyes
We were in our honeymoon and we were very meticulous about our choices. Now we really can affirm this hotel was the best choice! Everything was great! The room was new and beautiful, excellent bed and shower, impeccable service and perfect location. It is located less than 1 block from Colosseo station, so this is the best location in Rome! The owner, Andrea, is very kind and attentive! He lent us an internet device to carry around the city and it was very usefull! He gave us good tips about the turistic points and restaurants. On the last night he left a bottle of champagne in our room, as a courtesy for our honeymoon! It was a very good surprise! The breakfast has few options, but with high quality! We strongly recommend people to stay at this hotel.
We enjoyed a cappacino every morning with the colosseum right across the street and a lovely view of the forum to our right. Inside the room the decor was beautiful, crisp, clean and calming to the senses. The metro and bus stop was a stones thow away. I've already recommended this place to someone in Dublin before I even got home!
I was'nt quite sure what was included in the breakfast though besides a cresant...had to pay 2 euros for a sandwich one day at the restaurant Oppies but the view made up for the inconsistencies
Location was incredible. Second to none in Rome. Very helpful manager. Beautiful room. Very clean.
Great location, very very convenient and comfortable!
Very friendly and helpful! Great room , clean and quiet. Perfect location!
Everything was perfect. Very nice room, quiet, great location, handy Metro stop. We had to have a taxi to the airport early in the AM, so Andrea arranged for that, and our driver was waiting at the door at 6:50, at a fair price. We highly recommend the Tre R Colosseo.
R Colosseo room is like a five star hotel.
Quality of the breakfast in the down stairs Restaurant is not Compatible to the standard of the Room.
I stayed here for 2 nights with my 13 yr old son. It is a small 3 room B&B directly across from the Colosseum. Out of the 3 other places we stayed in Italy, this was the nicest and cleanest. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. A treat to return to after long days of touring Rome! There was complimentary juice and water in the mini fridge upon arrival. We received a portable wifi device to take out with us. It was really helpful for using navigation apps around Rome, and messaging pictures back home! Luciano is the owner's father, and he went above and beyond for us. We checked out early on a Monday morning. There was a parade for a national Roman holiday that day, so the metro was closed as well as many of the main roads. Not only did Luciano volunteer to drive us to the train station, but he also insisted we make a pit stop along the way to see Santa Maria cathedral because of its beauty and importance! He treated us like family. Breakfast vouchers are given for the cafe downstairs. You have your choice of a coffee beverage, and a pastry or sandwich. Choose the sandwich if you need something more substantial. I would not choose to eat a meal other than breakfast there. We had lunch there, and it was a typical you're "paying for the view" tourist place. Stay at Tre R Colosseo, and remember to book early as there are only 3 rooms! It's a lovely B&B in a great location with excellent guest service!
A tea/coffee maker would have been nice. But not a real negative.
The location of the place couldn't be better for the first time travellers like us. The Coliseum and the Roman Forum were right in front, with other main sights more or less within walking distance (except Vatican). I also liked that the B&B was located inside of what seemed to be a normal residential building - it even had a typical Italian courtyard with laundry hanging from the balconies - loved that feeling of "living in a real Roman house"! Andrea the manager was very warm and friendly, he even gave us a small wifi gadget to carry around to have free wifi in town! So overall we had an excellent stay and are happy to recommend the place to other tourists.
We felt somewhat cheated with breakfast. We chose "breakfast included" option during the booking, but what we got was a cup of capuccino with a croissant - that surely wasn't a normal breakfast, so we ended up paying much more to get a decent morning meal. The hing is that the. B&B doesn't have its own dining place, so it "borrows" it from the small cafe next door. Therefore, I recommend not to choose breakfast option when you book Tre Colosseo.
Andrea was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Breakfast at the cafe next door was really nice and the location was lovely, right next to the colosseo.
It would be hard to find a more dramatic location!
Weird automatic floor level light in our room that switched on whenever anyone turned over in bed.
