Location was good ans staff was nice

The beds and pillows were extremly old and hard

Location family atmosphere service breakfast friendliness

The staff was very helpful throughout our visit and the location would be hard to beat. Parking on site was a plus.

In part due to construction and street closures, the hotel was very difficult to get to by car at the time of our stay.

TheHotel rooms are clean it locate in como center few meters to the lake &five minutes walk to the railwaystation

The WiFi dosent cover the rooms

extremely friendly receptionists, i was helped with transport from and to malpensa, bought their excellent towels, was given maps and directions and helped with printouts etc. couldn't have been nicer and the rooms prices are excellent value

Excellent location. Super market just across the way. Helpful hotel stuff.

The smell of fireplace smoke in the lobby was unbearable. Sat there for half an hour to use the internet and that gave me a terrible headache. How is it even possible to smell this way when the fireplace hasn't been used in months? Overpriced but i suppose you pay the location. Not the best beds i have slept on.

Staff was extremely friendly. Nice hotel in very central location. Quite and clean. Rooms are quite old but clean and furnished with all you need. Price excellent.

A modest family run hotel. Old but rooms adequate and location very central. Only negative which is due to location is noise in the early mornng from rubbish collectors. Good value for money, helpful staff but overall dissapointed with Como. Recommend Bellagio.

Pillws were like concrete but supplied soft ones on request and the towels were very thin. The menu for the restaurant was only in Italian,so we did not use it.It would have been useful if it was also displayed in English.

Nothing, everything was perfect for our stay.

Excellent location with free parking (walking area/shopping street), in city downtown (5min from lake and close to major restaurants).

Every morning (at 7am) it is very noisy (the goods are being delivered in local shops/markets), so you must close your windows. Also Italy is very expensive comparing to service (country like museum but very expensive - we paid lunch in average restaurant eur 70 - so be careful).

This hotel has an excellent central location in the old town of Como. This area is pedestrianised, and the hotel is quiet. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The staff, receptionists, waitresses, porters and chambermaids were excellent. However, the management (of which there were many from more than one generation) were much less customer focused and friendly. At times, I felt I was at Fawlty Towers. The breakfasts were perfectly adequate. The restaurant virtually empty (during peak season). Our double room was basic but very clean. Very limited wi-fi access. Not available in bed rooms. Only accessible in empty lounge which was locked by 11.00pm. Ambience poor. Overall we were happy with hotel and extended our stay to 11 days due to excellent location in Como Town and closeness to main piazza.

We have stayed here twice and enjoyed our stay and the location is ideal. The only problem was, we found the bed very uncomfortable as the mattress was very hard and bumpy, therefore didn't sleep well and woke with a backache...

It was clean, comfortable, close to the centre of Como and the lake and reasonably priced.

Located at the heart of como. Facility has a private parking opportunity which is very very crucial in como.

Rooms are very small and needs renovation.

There was no wifi access in our room just at reception. Our room had a strange smell to it but my friends room was fine.

The welcome, the location and the fact that there is protected parking here right in the centre of Como.

The room was clean and had an air-con which was great as we were there in the peak of summer. Staff were all friendly and helpful with directions and local info. Close to restaurants and good shopping. A great place! We really enjoyed our Como break!

They had free wifi but it wasn't accessible in our own room, only near reception. The pillows were hard and flat but we found that most of the places we stayed at in Europe had pillows like this.
