Hotel Regno is 650 ft from the Trevi Fountain. Toss a coin in the fountain if you want to come back to Rome, most likely to this superior 3-star hotel.

The historic Grand Hotel Plaza has been featured in many movies. Set on Rome’s popular shopping street, Via del Corso, it has large elegant rooms with high ceilings and marble bathrooms.

Staff were friendly and gave excellent service. Central location meant we were able to walk to all attractions.
Location ,quality of room & staff
The breakfast provided warm croissants, fresh fruit and decent coffee.
The Trevi Fountain was closed for renovations, so the premium paid for this location was wasted. This is a 4th tier facility, with a 2nd tier price. The cost & value experience is similar to staying in Paris.
The location of Trevi B & B is excellent, only about 200 metres from the Trevi Fountain. We walked to all major attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights and except for the first night and climbing stairs, we had a wonderful stay at Trevi B&B.
There is no lift so be prepared to climb stairs with your luggage. The first room we had was very small and directly above the restaurant so it was very noisy until 1:30am and walls between rooms were very thin as you could hear the shower and noise from the room next door. We were moved after the first night to a really great room which was quiet and comfortable.
Very clean, nicely furnished rooms. We actually had to switch rooms for the last night (due to our own personal booking error), but they moved our heavy luggage to the other room for us while we were out for the day, which we really appreciated. The rooms are a good size. Staff was very pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was an excellent European breakfast we were looking for (big disappointment in Paris and other cities prior to this stay); we were disappointed we were only able to have breakfast one out of 4 days we stayed there :(
I only have two small complaints. The first one is that they DID NOT have an elevator. By the time we arrived in rome we had already visited two cities before that, and had accumulated some things to take back home (ie. our luggage had gotten heavy)!!! So having to lug it up 3 flights of stairs was not a very pleasant thing to do, (especially after taking a train from airport, and trying to find the hotel before that). I mean, of course it's an old building but it's just an inconvenience. The other thing is that the breakfast (although excellent), starts too late. We had some days where we had to leave early to catch some tours/train/flight out, and it would have been nice to have their breakfast before leaving....we were only able to have it once :( if breakfast started at 6am that would have been ideal!
Great location, a few meters away from Trevi fountain. Nice restaurant downstairs and nearby Awesome bathroom and room Neat, clean, contemporary design
No lift, so difficult to carry heavy luggage upstairs Window shutter was broken Extremely loud disposal of glass bottles from restaurants woke is up everyday!
Trevi B & B was recommended to us by a friend who has stayed there. The room was spacious and the bathroom and shower was really nice. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms have air conditioning and great free wifi. Breakfast was included, pretty standard but good.
Unfortunately it was very noisy at night and early mornings since our room backed out onto the street. The hotel room doors also make the loudest bang every time someone closes them. The rooms have air conditioning but not the hotel itself.
great location, only 5 minutes from all the attractions, excellent breakfast, very clean rooms, luxurious beds...
Fantastic sitting outside people watching and not far from site seeing bus pick up point
Trevi fountain itself all covered up getting repaired aparantly but never saw anybody working on it just guys hovering up money in morning and it will be like that for a long time.
Everything, its got a perfect location, its quiet, clean and the staff are lovely.
Excellent Location! (Just towards the right lane if facing teh fountain)
location apartment very spacious brilliant restuarants just beneath the hotel right in the heart of the action
Location was perfect only 50 meters from the Trevi Fountain. Once again the hotel was expecting us and check in was easy. We booked a standard room and this was comfortable with enough room the bathroom had been renovated and the shower was big. Staff were helpful and booked tours for us and recommended restaurants for us. Breakfast was buffet which suited us with great coffee. Staff in the breakfast room were attentive. Our room was clean and tidied daily with clean towels.
The hotel also owns the restaurant downstairs and it closed the day after we arrived for a weeks holiday which we couldn't understand being so busy in Rome.
Nice to have a small lounge area in your room ,nice staff ,good location .breakfast great .
The position of the bed squashed between two walls and up a step that I fell down in the dark .the lights are connected in some weird way so to when you turn of the light in the lounge the light over the bed doesn't work.air conditioning doesn't reach bedroom .power points don't all work either.fairly noisy position
The staff were amazing and very helpful. Our room was ready at 1130 which was a bonus as we had been travelling since 6am that morning and were exhausted. Location was great 1 min walk to trevi fountain and amazing restaurants as soon as you walk out!!
Location was second to none Places to eat on your doorstep Accommodated 2 adults and 2 children in the suite easily A bit dated - but sort of added to the charm
Kitchen would of been useful but the hob didn't work and the fridge was falling apart still better than nothing
Location / Spacious
Amazing location, almost perfect. The Suite was very nice - complete with kitchen, though we didn't really use it. Very spacious as European rooms go. Staff were very helpful, polite, and pleasant to talk with. Very good English spoken by everyone except one of the breakfast ladies. Breakfast was good. Excellent pastries. Yogurt, cerial, fruit. Drinking water dispenser was nice for filling up water bottles.
No wifi in the Suite, and no ethernet plug. We knew this beforehand, but it was very annoying. Breakfast had almost no source of protein, besides the prosciutto and ham cold cuts. Espresso machine didn't work, so you have to ask the staff for Cafe Americano and they would make it for you in the back room. Yummy coffee though. The Suite's shower curtain was annoying - too small, and did not cover the full width of the tub. You had to be careful to pull it close to one side and aim the shower head appropriately, to avoid ending up with a pool of water on the floor.
Location Staff Breakfast Room
Great location. Right near the Trevi Fountain (which is under renovation July 2014). Room + bathroom very well appointed, clean, comfortable and lovely exposed timber beams in the ceiling. Very nice breakfast room. You can walk everywhere from this location and the restaurant below is well worth a visit
Although there is no elevator in this B&B it was no problem - provided you don't mind using the stairs to the second floor accommodation
We were able to switch rooms when we asked.
In first room the bed was built in on the floor, accessible only at the foot of bed and very uncomfortable. Air con was in a separate lounge area so not good for sleeping during summer, room was cave like with no natural light. In second room the shower was third world, drain obviously blocked, walls were mouldy and absolutely revolting. Breakfast was minimal and coffee dreadful, we didn't bother for next three mornings. Incredibly loud street noise, crashing of bottles into bins each night and restaurant staff closing and opening each day so sleep was disturbed. Both rooms were not thoroughly clean which is really off putting. Not worth the money, we didn't enjoy this place.
Location is very good. Rooms are cozy. Staff is friendly.
Rooms are very small. It is noisy at night.
Great Location, & great restaurant downstairs.
Great proximity to the Trevi Fountain with lots of good restaraunts and great atmosphere. Room was large with great size bathroom and all modern and new. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Best customer service experience in Italy. I Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this B&B.
