Just 165 ft from Rome’s most famous fountain, Hotel Trevi offers air conditioned rooms with satellite TV and a minibar. Breakfast is served buffet style on the hotel's rooftop terrace. This 3-star hotel is in the heart of Rome, a few steps from the Trevi Fountain. It is surrounded by ice cream parlors, restaurants and shops, and is only a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Rooms have a classic style with carpeted floors, and many with wood-beamed ceilings. Some have a more modern design and are in a separate building 165 ft away. The staff will be delighted to help with tourist information and organizing sightseeing tours. Barberini Metro Station is a 5-minute walk away. Hotel Rooms: 44

Staying next to the Trevi Fountain is the best for visiting Rome, this hotel was in a central location but at the same time was tucked away so a to avoid excess street noise and annoyances. The walls were a little thin and you could hear a lot of what your neighbors were doing but because of the type of customer the hotel attracts the noise is not too bad.

Great location, walking distance to many sites and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Would only recommend a room in the upgraded Modern One. Had a room the first night in the older part of the Hotel. Smelled very musty and the shower would not drain properly. Had a family of four and had to use a fold out sofa bed that was incredibly uncomfortable! Would of checked out if a room in the Modern One had not been available for the rest of our stay.

The localization. But it worth nothing when all the rest is very bad. The staff is very, very rude. Trevi is not a real hotel, because many of the rooms are located in adjacent buildings. The Trevi Hotel has little space to move around, its a claustrophobic place. You only go to the hotel room when you are ready to hit the sack. Unfortunately, and for the first time, I booked an hotel without reading the guest reviews. Never again.

Very good choice for breakfast, excellent position of the hotel in the "heart" of Roma, kind and helpfull staff, quiet part even it is closed to "everywhere". Corridors are not wide enough, Breakfast room is to small for 28 people, ( there are 14 tables for two persons ),

We had a room in the annex which was a good size and had a sitting area. Very quiet at night so slept really well. Fine breakfast. Room smelled of smoke and lingered for the whole weekend. Room was quite dark so wouldn't spend much time in it.

Location was excellent when time was of the essence being a weekend break. The hotel staff were all lovely and very friendly, we were given an upgrade to one of their suites when we arrived because we were only staying for one night. The suite was lovely and comfortable. The only negative was the quality of the breakfast, it was contiental which is normally fine but it seemed like the dregs and the orange juice was not fresh. Otherwise I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was poor.

The receptionist Fernanda always greeted us with a nice smile on her face and she was very supportive. The breakfast is good and the location excellent. The bathroom smelled really bad and the shower drain was clogged. Also, the blonde receptionist (which work in the night shift) was extremely rude with us when we asked for the wifi connection, which was not working for 5 days.

The wonderful location and staff. The room, although small was efficient. The price was a bit too high. I have stayed at many other budget hotels with similar services but lower prices.

The Buffet breakfast is very good and has good choice so to start a day on a good start, plus the staff in the breakfast area are jolly and polite. This was our second stay in the hotel and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a central hotel. Hotel trevi is close to all the main places one should visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Trevi. We were very fortunate to get a wonderful room, we had booked a superior room and we had more like an appartment for the first 2 nights, but sadly we were asked to change for the 3rd night which was a rather disappointing. (Seems the 1st room was needed for a family) The second room wasn't so nice & quite noisy.( Still an ok room just not as good as the 1st room) The breakfasts were fine but the room they were served in was quite cramped. The position of the Hotel was great so central for all the sightseeing spots. We would certainly use Hotel Trevi again and recommend it to friends if they were to get the superior room we had to begin with. The tall Lady on reception was very helpful and welcoming.

The location is this hotels only saving feature. The size of the room is very small. The room we stayed in is located in a separate building to the reception and is on the 5th floor accessed by a 2 person lift. The breakfast room is small, the staff there spoke no English and the full breakfast range is abyssmal. Wifi is not free and only works in the reception area.

Location is wonderful. Receptionists were very helpful. Breakfast was a disaster. Poorly managed, dirty dishes on all tables, food was sub par. No organization and lousy food= a very poor experience. Advertised rooms were certainly not what we experienced. Falsely presented

The best part of the Trevi Fountain is the location. It is very central and allows you to see the best parts of Rome by foot. There are many problems with the Trevi. The rooms are very small. The keys would always loose their magnatism and you would have to go back to reception every day to have them reset. Our shower drain was 80 percent clogged which meant that you had to take a 5 minute shower at best or it would overflow into the bathroom floor. The shower on and off lever would alway go off during the shower which made the water turn off in the middle of the shower all the time. When they sent someone to fix the drain it was never fixed and they never came back again. Sounds like little thing but they all add up to a below average location to stay.
