Just 165 ft from Rome’s most famous fountain, Hotel Trevi offers air conditioned rooms with satellite TV and a minibar. Breakfast is served buffet style on the hotel's rooftop terrace. This 3-star hotel is in the heart of Rome, a few steps from the Trevi Fountain. It is surrounded by ice cream parlors, restaurants and shops, and is only a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Hotel Trevi is centrally located, a mere hundred yards from the famous Trevi Fountain. The bedroom allocated was in the Annex, a hundred yards from the main hotel. The two staff members at the annex were excellent; Matea's attention, attitude and breakfast is remarkable. The first impression due to the gruff receptionist and her attitude towards the family of guests before me caused concern. There was no wi-fi facility and the way she responded to the request was unwelcoming. The other receptionists were pleasant. The annex has the smallest elevator!

Location. Only cold water on two of three mornings during our stay. Smelly rooms. One of us once stuck in the lift. No WiFi available in rooms, one tv channel only. Congested and too small breakfast room. By far too expensive for what it is. All addressed, but no manager on site or to talk to all three days. Ps: They cashed the price for all nights on arrival and we do now know why.

The wonderful location and staff. The room, although small was efficient. The price was a bit too high. I have stayed at many other budget hotels with similar services but lower prices.

The Buffet breakfast is very good and has good choice so to start a day on a good start, plus the staff in the breakfast area are jolly and polite. This was our second stay in the hotel and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a central hotel. Hotel trevi is close to all the main places one should visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Trevi. We were very fortunate to get a wonderful room, we had booked a superior room and we had more like an appartment for the first 2 nights, but sadly we were asked to change for the 3rd night which was a rather disappointing. (Seems the 1st room was needed for a family) The second room wasn't so nice & quite noisy.( Still an ok room just not as good as the 1st room) The breakfasts were fine but the room they were served in was quite cramped. The position of the Hotel was great so central for all the sightseeing spots. We would certainly use Hotel Trevi again and recommend it to friends if they were to get the superior room we had to begin with. The tall Lady on reception was very helpful and welcoming.

The location is this hotels only saving feature. The size of the room is very small. The room we stayed in is located in a separate building to the reception and is on the 5th floor accessed by a 2 person lift. The breakfast room is small, the staff there spoke no English and the full breakfast range is abyssmal. Wifi is not free and only works in the reception area.

Location is wonderful. Receptionists were very helpful. Breakfast was a disaster. Poorly managed, dirty dishes on all tables, food was sub par. No organization and lousy food= a very poor experience. Advertised rooms were certainly not what we experienced. Falsely presented

The location was fabulous (around the corner from the Trevi Fountain). Accessability to Spanish steps, Pantheon, restaurants and shopping (all very close). The staff were tremendous they were so helpful with directions, booking restaurants and overall could not help you enough to make your stay comfortable

The best part of the Trevi Fountain is the location. It is very central and allows you to see the best parts of Rome by foot. There are many problems with the Trevi. The rooms are very small. The keys would always loose their magnatism and you would have to go back to reception every day to have them reset. Our shower drain was 80 percent clogged which meant that you had to take a 5 minute shower at best or it would overflow into the bathroom floor. The shower on and off lever would alway go off during the shower which made the water turn off in the middle of the shower all the time. When they sent someone to fix the drain it was never fixed and they never came back again. Sounds like little thing but they all add up to a below average location to stay.

Location. Price is high, but location... covers everything. Anyway money is only money. Summer is worse time to visit Rome. Crowds of american tourists (nice people!) in every interesting spots, especially museums. And really hot whether. Never again.
