Truddhi houses were lovely, the pool and facilities excellent. Fantastic weather, helpful locals. Useful shop very nearby
Cafe close but a bit basic.
Everything about our stay here was outstanding & excelled expectations. Carole & Mino obviously work extremely hard & welcome you to share their home. It's immaculate & everything is well looked after. Pool area is a brilliant addition. All recommendations re restaurants & sights were spot on. Thank you for everything we will definatley recommend to our friends & return soon.
We liked a lot the Trulli themselves, they are really cosy and comfortable. Beds are very good. The field where the Trulli are located is great, with lots of fruit trees, a BBQ and a swimming pool. The stuff was really friendly and helpful.
The grounds are beautiful: vistas over the surrounding orchards and thoughtful landscaping throughout the property make it feel like an oasis. The pool is lovely too. The owners were extremely helpful and knowledgable about the area.
this was an unusual treat in Italy,so we'll run,so charming and such a helpful friendly owner. The Trullo we stayed in was perfection,it had everything one needed and more...I would love to return to their cooking school!
we liked everything!
Always wanted to see and stay in a Trulli and finally did it. They are amazing structures outside and even more amazing inside. Had a great stay.
Wifi was available but not in some units. The walls of some of these trulli are 3 feet thick.
We were made to feel very welcome from the second we arrived at this lovely hotel by Mino and Carol, the owners. We were told about some nice walks and had recommendations for restaurants and lots of tips for a fabulous stay in this unique place.
A beautiful property some km from Locorotondo. A perfect base for exploring the area. Everything you need can be found in the apartment, from candles and an open fire to a toaster and salt and pepper. Lots of information about the surroundings, with maps etc. The ever so nice owner Carol gave good advice for day trips and recommendations about restaurants and helped us with reservations. We hope to come back when the pool is open!
Carole was most helpful with recommendations. The room was lovely and warm when arrived as it was very cold for April. We enjoyed a night in and the studio was one room and cosy (in a nice way). Wish we were then in summer to experience the pool and walks etc. Great spot.
Truddhi Casa e Cucina di Puglia perfectly merges tradition and style in a relaxing athmosphere. We loved staying in the trulli, the traditional dry stone constructions. The services are excellent, rooms are pleasant and confortable, the gardens are gorgeous, and the pool is fantastic (super for us but also for our children)!!! And the location is amazing, with view on the vineyards and olive groves and a constant refreshing breeze, even in the hottest august time… It's a magical place to stay and relax and we will definitely return!! Thanks to the owners for the great hospitality and kindness!
Everything - friendly owners, clean, comfortable. A little bit remote, the car is necessary. Would come back.
Such a lovely atmosphere of times gone by but with modern essentials
It was in the middle of nowhere. Away from the city and crowds but absolutely beautiful scenery. We went during off season and yet it was still beautiful. It was close to the main attractions(20 min at the most) The owner made me feel like my son and I were part of the family. The studio we had was just perfect.
the hosts were charming and very helpful. We immediately felt at home.
Carole and Mino are truly the very best hosts at their delightful Trulli. We went to enjoy some R and R and certainly found it! It is so well located that we could take a walk across their vineyard to the crest of a hill and be amongst the original old farm trialled and pace of life as it used to be. Being able to drive into Locorotondo for lunch in one of the many restaurants in that exceptionally beautiful town was all we could have wished for!
Beautiful setting - the truilli have been modernised in a very sympathetic, functional yet stylish way and the swimming pool, surrounded by olives groves, a vinyard, and fig trees, was idyllic. The local town Locorotondo is very picturesque, not overly touristy and has a train station connecting it to most local attractions (it's run by the local FSE operator not Trenitalia) and a couple of great restaurants. The staff at Truddhi are super nice, very accomadating and helpful, picking us up from the station and providing us with olive oil & wine from their own back yard, and there's a relaxed yet professional family vibe as the family who run it live on site.
The hill just outside the truilli complex! We didn't have a car so hired bikes, which we loved using to explore the local area (Locorotondo was about 15mins cycle ride away, Alberobello and Martina Franca about 30-40mins), however, the 2 initial hills on the way into Locorotondo were a killer. Got us fit though, and we got great sunset views from the top of them! Also compensated massively for all the lovely local wine and cheese we consumed.
Excellent use of traditonal buildings in very pleasant garden surroundings
I loved the environment and the overall surroundings of the area. The trullo was spacious and very clean and comfortable.
Check in at 15:00 and check out at 10:00 are a bit too tight. Breakfast would be appreciated.
The owner was very pleasant and kind. We were greeted as we pulled in and given a tour of our Truddhi house and grounds. Although we had three toddler boys with us, the area was very quiet and plenty of entertainment for all of us. I enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon.
Breakfast not included
Everything!! Alessandra is amazing for her professional skills and welcome smile: we really had good time there and she made good efforts to solve our little problems (borrow the beach ombrella;-)
