The staff at the hotel were really helpful, Francesca showed us the sites to see on a map and metro stops to get off, the food was excellent, breakfast was more than just a continental with lots to choose from and the rooms were kept really clean, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The only fault was the shower wasn't fully functioning but we managed, and the noise from one of the guests whilst watching his TV was loud on the last night before our flight.
The staff, Irene and Francesca were very helpful
Rooms are a bit small
Great room and there was a fantastic Italian restaurant just a short walk away. Fairly close to a Metro stop.
Neighborhood was a bit "dodgy" not really many places for tourists to eat. One restaurant spoke no English at all and didn't have an English menu. One morning before 9 (breakfast went until 10) they were out of hard boiled eggs (the only protein food) and said "no more"
The breakfast never change, the rooms are very small (coffin seize) and the hotel is expensive in comaprison where it is situated and how much we had to pay. There are no fascilities to make tea or coffee in the room which for this price should be included. Take sth more close to the city centre
The staff was very efficient and extremely helpful. The place was a bit off the historical centre;however, the metro station (Ponte Lungo) was a two-minute walk! Breakfast was very good and the cleaningness unquestionnable!
Everything concerning our stay was great! We would highly recommend it!
It was in an excellent location near the metro and the train line. The staff were really helpful and full of advice. The rooms were clean and had air con
No restaurants or bars close by. The area is a little run down.
staff, location, service, facilitate.
The front desk staff were super.Luca was verry good to us and his english was good too.
we liked everything
Excellent service! We got a lot of valuable recommendations from the reception, in terms of how to organize our visits and where to eat. The room and hotel were also very clean. Very close to the Metro station, on the red line - from which to have direct access to almost all major sites (except from Colosseum) Plus, the way to/from airport is very easy as you have a direct train that leaves you next to the hotel (3min walk). You have AC in the rooms and it works great!
The overall appearance of the hotel is rather basic. But if you only use your room to shower and sleep, it is ok. The area surrounding the hotel is rather dirty and ugly. I wouldn't walked alone from metro to hotel at night.
The hotel is only 3 min walking distance to the train station (direct access to airport) and 5 min walking to the nearst metro station, on line A (direct access to almost all tourist attractions). The single room was of sufficient size and had everything needed, except for coffee/tea making, and it was in an excellent condition. Staff were very helpfull and spoke good English. Breakfast was OK and was included in the room price.
The hotel is neatly located: only a few hundred metres from the Tuscolana railway station and the Ponte Lungo underground station. The trip to Termini takes about 10 mins no matter which one you choose. The neighbourhood is quiet so no need to worry about noise. The rooms are in a nice and clean condition, and the staff didn't save any effort to help you with whatever you asked them. The breakfast is excellent for a Roman hotel with home-made yogurt, plenty of pastries, and fresh fruit - and the coffee they make is very good! I recommend the hotel warmly to anyone who wants to enjoy warm-hearted service but doesn't want to pay an awful lot for a room!
Have no complaints!
The Breakfast could be richer
Internet was not working in our room.
Close to metro
Room was very small
Near train station, easy to acces fiumicino airport and Rome center, nice place
Nothing to complain.
Very very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was ok!
The neighborhood is a little shady but not in any way dangerous.
I just came back from a five day trip in Rome. If you need a nice stay in a good location, Tuscolana Hotel is the right place for that. The stuff is very friendly, good breakfast and the metro station is only 2 mins walk from the hotel. I am giving it a full rating
Rooms are very clean Staff is very nice and helpful, hospitality is a very tipical feature in Hotel Tuscolana! Our room was small, but very comfortable Close to metro station and supermarkets
Though some of the rooms have balcon, guests can not use them, as they are closed by iron bars. Steps, noises of moving furnitures coming from apartments above are sometimes annoying
Position for my work
Don't have Parking
very near to the metro station and tuscolana railway station (2 min walk) very friendly staff
I liked the hotel because it is very close to both metro and train stations.. also staff was very helpful and friendly
Irene and all of the staff were amazingly kind, helpful and funny! This was the best part of our Rome visit as far as comfort and friendliness are concerned. Over and over, they gave directions, helped with an awful incident, made our stay a delight. The breakfast was out of this world with fresh baked goods and home made yogurt and fine cappuccino. Would stay again...4.8 Euros to get to our cruise ship (1 1/2 hours ride)---- Tuscolana is right on the train line. Quiet neighbourhood.
Extremly friendly staff, free wi-fi, clean rooms, good location - links to Metro and train station to the Airport, quiet and safe neighbourhood
The staff was really very friendly and helping, the hotel is good located it takes 15 min by walk to come to Colloseo, nice around with many snack bars, shops, caffees... great available from airport and from the metro stations!
The offer for breakfast was a bit poor and refilling only on request. In the shower was missing sealing and so after each shower we had to dry up the floor, in the bathroom smelled after sewage.
I've stayed at this hotel for three nights and I would like to point out the good things: - The staff is very friendly. I would like to thank them all - The room is very clean and comfortable - Nice atmosphere in the hotel - Quiet area - The hotel is placed near the metro station (about 350 m) so it is easy to get anywhere in Rome very quickly - Good Wi-Fi connection - The breakfast is American Breakfast Juice, Cereals, Eggs, Jam, Butter, Honey, Fresh Fruits, Bread, Beverages and very good pastry
