Situated on Sant’Angelo’s peninsula, right by the port and overlooking Maronti Beach, one of the best on Ischia, Hotel Conte has the sea on both sides. It is located in a pedestrian area.
Score from 114 reviews Very good
Set in the historic centre of Ischia Ponte, family-run Hotel Europa offers a thermal pool, a spa, and a restaurant. It features pastel-coloured rooms and is 200 metres from the beach.
Score from 74 reviews Very good
Hotel Rivamare is set directly on the seafront. Breakfast is served on a spacious terrace with beautiful sea views, and free parking is available on site.
Score from 310 reviews Wonderful
You can admire panoramic views out over Ischia and the Gulf of Naples from the swimming pool and sun terrace at Hotel Le Querce. The nearest beach is 550 yards away.
Score from 134 reviews Very good
2 perfect weeks with perfect cucina italiana - in 2 weeks did not eat same dish twice! Sea vue from my room and 15 min to Castello et Porto. 5 min from tourist' information office. 2 min to the spiaggia dei pescatori. 2 swimming pools, so heated one. Very clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a good spread. The pool looked nice.
The shower was part of the actual bathroom, as in there was no shower stall just a shower head a little bit over from the toilet. So when you had a shower the whole bathroom got wet. This was annoying. Also, it is a good 20 mins. walk to Ischia Porto and 15 mins. walk to Ischia Ponte so not as close as they want you to believe.
The location was great - halfway between the port and the castle. Everywhere was spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to sit in the sun - roof terraces and pools and the price of drinks was very reasonable
The pillows were very hard found it difficult to sleep.
Staff were very helpful. Proximity to town, port and beAch
This hotel has it all: a terrazzo on the roof with a killer view; a fabulous swimming pool area behind the hotel; good breakfasts; nice friendly staff; excellent value for money. Even the position out of the port is quite good as it's a short walk from the Ponte area and on top of a good swimming public beach behind the hotel.
Location was okay. Midway between the port and the castle it was in easy walking distance to either and close to a nice beach area on one side and cafés on the other. The hotel itself was fine for going back to sleep in but other than the pool area there was nothing really to draw you back. Staff was friendly.
- single room was tiny, bathroom was a wet room and very small. - Wifi was terrible and phone signal was very poor throughout the hotel. -Breakfast was bland and poor compared to other hotels hotels
Facilities, location fine
I'm not a big eater, but look forward to a healthy breakfast, the breakfast provided was fine if you are a European, you had to ask for a piece of fruit, what was on the table was rotten, WiFi dies not work, there were six or seven of us at one time in the lobby trying to get access, when you went to the desk to get help they simply didn't want to know you, they just don't get the customer service aspect at all, I would call it Hotel Usless!
Nice clean place, the pool is a plus when the beach are really crowded and the view crom the terrasse is great. Friendly staff and half way between the castle and the port.
good location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, room is clean, balcony is nice; staff is very friendly
beds are very small and narrow, housekeeping wanted us to leave the room early because she wanted to clean the room...
We walked from the port, so easy to get to. Excellent views of the castle from the room. Spotlessly clean Great position on the island. Pool is great
Prefer a little more choice at breakfast, ie a toasting machine. Missed my toast!
The pool, location and balcony with excellent view
The wifi was very poor, hotel needs updating
Having to wear swimming caps in the pool
Close to beach and town - really good location restaurants in the area all great and do not mix the Ischia film festival - amazing
having to swim with a cap in pool
Superb variety in continental breakfast. Amazing view of the Aragonese Castle from the sun terrace. Prime location close to Ischia Porto and Ponte yet still quiet and relaxing.
Map given out could be a bit more detailed. The bed in my single room was a tad too short, but I am 1.86m tall for reference.
Location, facilities. Nice and big own pool area.
Our window looked into the yard
My room had a great view of the Castle and the little harbor area. Staff efficient. Given that it's a resort area, I really don't know if the room price was a good value for the money. Easy to walk to the bus stop and to restaurants and shops. They had an elevator For people who like it, they have A/C
Guests can't use the swimming pool without wearing a swim cap. My single room was advertised as having a balcony, and indeed, you could take a step out of the room, but that's all it was. No room even for a chair so you could sit out there. A bit of false advertising, or at least stretchy advertising on that. The shower area was right on top of/adjacent to the toilet. I had to move the toilet paper when I showered so it wouldn't get wet. Also had to dry off the toilet seat after the shower if I wanted to use it because there wasn't a shower curtain between the toilet and the shower. Single room only had a twin bed. Breakfast was plentiful with breads and sweet breads, but they really only had Swiss cheese every day. If you got there early, they had a little bit of a nicer cheese, but I noticed they didn't put more of that out. Unlike some hotels that enlist your help in being ecological about how often the sheets/towels are changed, this hotel just doesn't change them everyday. They had A/C, but no ceiling fan in my room, which really is enough to cool a room .
They have some good rooms with balcony and great view however the other rooms are not good enough to stay here with so many options in Ischia.
Location is too far from the port and central place to catch the bus that goes all over the island. Cabs to reach the port/bus are 15 or more euro. They do not offer a pickup service. Cabs to thermal pools 25 euro and we were charged 50 euro at 10 pm when bus from that town had stopped running. Better to be closer to the main bus / port for easy access to the whole . u don't have to be in the port but there are plenty of places in the cute little shopping area where a walk to bus and ferries is easy.
The hotel was in the heart of the town as we could access the beach, shops and bars easily,we had stayed in the Continental Mare before and this was a 30 minute walk one way.The view from. The view from the window of the castle was breathtaking as we picked a sea view. The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean, the pool was fine. Overall the hotel and its location made our stay, the friendly family run team highlighted all that is good about Italy
It's not a big issue but the hotel staff didn't speak English very well, so I had to exercise my brain in praticing my limited Italian. There is an opportunity for the hotel to improve the menu as if you stay half board it is limited, I accept it is a 3 star hotel but they wanted to they could improve this area
We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Castle which was outstanding. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. It was a 10-15 minute walk into the port and restaurant area, which we didn't mind as the location was quiet.
This is a very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel, perfect for our family of four. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was close to the shops, cafe's and port. It was a great value and I would stay hear again.
Lovely family run hotel with a good personal friendly service. Brilliant location.
I would recommend everybody to stay with them! The people are really really nice and helpful! It is easy to get around and super close to the castle!
we got room with view to castle - amazing & romantic! good breakfast though the same every day (yougurt, cheese and ham, juice, coffee, cornflakes, sweets) doing the room every day personnel helps with information about where & how to go, has discounts to restaurants (rather costly though) swimming pools
no shower cabin, just shower & curtain weak wi-fi
The room with a view (of the castello aragonite). The friendly and very helpful staff. The food (at dinner time). The lovely garden and warm swimming pool
The breakfast choice was rather poor. The air conditioning was not working.
