Ultimo Mulino  

This restored mill makes an excellent cozy hotel from an historical building nestled in one of the most scenic locations on the planet. The drive in from Siena was amazing from our convertible - top down. The hotel has a very pleasant dining room and lovely menu selections. All was fresh and casually elegant. Our room was small but well appointed and very clean and well-serviced. All staff were top notch, pleasant and cheerful. Breakfast buffet provisions were ample and included boiled eggs in shell and nectarines if early to eat - also fresh cheese, sliced meats, cornet/croissants and pastries and yogurt w cappuccinoes made to order. Very nice. The locale is not a vista point, but nestled in Tuscan woods with most rooms having own patio. Pool is lap pool and looked very inviting. Very quiet and gentile experience - great getaway&great experience. Look forward to an anniversary visit with my husband. (Recommend a drive to Volpaia for a day trip!)

The pork dish was dry but when noted to staff they offered free dessert and were very gracious and responsive.

The partial brick walls in the rooms, the patios, and the pool. I also loved the tree with all the butterflies. Great location.

O charme, limpeza e local (bem bucólico)

O local é afastado. Ideal para quem está viajando de carro. Como peguei uma promoção de diária, achei o preço bem justo, mas acho que o preço normalmente praticado é alto.

Position e natural

Ausserordentliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Hotel-Service auf sehr hohem Niveau. Gemütliche und rustikale Athmosphäre. Erholsame Ruhe.

Menu-Auswahl im Reataurant zu beschränkt (Wiederholungen bei mehrtägigem Aufenthalt unausweichlich).

Eleganza e originalita' della struttura e gentilezza del personale

L'amabilité du personnel (à l'accueil, comme au restaurant et aussi les femmes de ménage prévenantes) n'a d'égal que le calme de l'endroit (mis à part des coups de fusil nocturnes en cette période de chasse). La chambre supérieure est confortable et bien équipée, un peu exigüe, mais comme la région regorge d'endroits superbes à visiter, on n'y demeure que peu de temps. Repos assuré, jolie piscine, et même un porc-épic rencontré dans le chemin à 23h .Petits déjeuners buffet de très bonne qualité, cadre pittoresque, construction originale (xvè siècle!). Très bon rapport qualité prix en septembre.

Nous n'avons pris qu'un dîner, fort savoureux d'ailleurs, mais la carte un peu restreinte nous a orienté vers des restaurants peu éloignés et bien agréables même si absents des guides à Radda in Chianti.

Locatie is erg mooi en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Het bed was goed en het ontbijt helemaal top, erg uitgebreid en luxe.

Het hotel is wat mij betreft geen 4 sterren hotel (meer). Het zou grondig moeten worden gemoderniseerd. Muren zijn zo dun dat er van privacy amper sprake is, badkamer erg verouderd en de airco werkt niet/zeer slecht. Ook zou men kunnen bekijken hoe een groter zwembad kan worden geplaatst. Nu is het zwembad eigenlijk zo klein en de ruimte waar je lekker kunt zitten zo beperkt dat ik er na 1 keer proberen wel klaar mee was. Erg jammer want een andere plaats waar je lekker even kunt zitten is er niet echt bij het hotel.
