The Hotel Aemilia is 15 minutes by foot from the center of Bologna and it's famous towers.

The location opposite the train station. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. Staff were polite.
I booked this hotel as it stated air conditioning. The air conditioning was turned off and when I on numerous occasions asked for it to be turned on the request was refused. The room was hot and noisy when anyone walked along the corridor you heard every footstep and when staff cleaned other rooms early in the morning every noise sounded loudly ans echoed. On this trip we stayed at hotels in Zurich, Milan and Florence Every hotel had air con as advertised but not this hotel in Bologna. hey took our money on arrival and said they could not refund for leaving early but could not go another hot night without sleep.
Room amenities and staff were great.
Price due to tile show. Overpriced.
Good staff, very Nice, vert helpfull. Great bed, tv , câble TV, design, Nice ans clean bathroom
No free Wi-Fi. Today, this kind of hôtels should offert créé Wi-Fi.
Location is great - near the station but there is no noise from the trains. Also located just a 5 min walk to centre of Bologna. The hotel is super clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent too. the staff are very very helpful.
No free Wi-Fi.
Very good standards - smiling staff
nice and clean room.
the quality of breakfast was pretty poor, fruit and veges were not fresh enough to be served at the decent hotel.
Location friendily Staff Good Sleep
Fantastic staff willing to help
Excellent large room. Street view, 1 floor, but no noise from traffic. Soundproof walls. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows! Superior brekfast. Staff provided me with Bologna map and adviced "must to see" places. One of the best hotels in this price category I've stayed at.
The hotel is located perfectly, just in front of the Stazione Centrale, 10 min of walk from the City Centre. The room and bathroom was spacious, there was also a quite big wardrobe where we could store the trolley and suitcases in. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was good and we were served with high standards. The staff was extremely friendly.
No free wi-fi, even in a lobby nor restaurant. No parking, though we could stop the car in a front of hotel just to pack quickly.
We spent 2 nights here and would recommend this Hotel.
Bologna Centrale is right across the road Perfect if you have a lot of luggage and are arriving by train Bed was king size and very comfy Breakfast included is quite nice I thought! Staff are very friendly and helpful and didn't mind me trying to speak in broken italian and some english
Minibar was a bit on the sparse side (I paid extra for free wifi and minibar) No iron! Seems to be a theme with Italian hotels though
design, price, staff
place could be better but acceptable (20 minutes to city center)
Near the train station.
I had problem to check in because I didn´t have paper from the parents of my daughters friend saying that she was allowed to stay with us. If knew it Before we left Sweden i would have brought the paper with me. The friend parents scan the paper and send them to the hotel so we could get are room. (Not the hotels fault). But it would be nice if you could find this information when you book. It´s a common rule in Italy for Children under 18 years old. However i can´t say i dislike it because it protects the children.
Location and helpful staff.
Dark corridors. ..
location next to the train station makes it easy to travel to other cities in the region, the room was quiet
the superior room was not as advertised on the webpage (no flat-screen tv, no night-lamp, etc.), we had to ask for toiletries, the carpet in the room was very old, one bartender was very rude (and spoke very poor english), they have really bad and expensive wine in the bar (which is surprising given such a good choice in bologna)
Location is opposite to Blogna main train station square, super convienion if you come with train. Not right there but walking distance to the old town.
This was our 2nd stay.. Everything was fine.. 10 min. Walking to city centre.. 50 metres to Central Station of Bologna.. It takes 15 €uros from airport to the hotel no need to wait for the shuttle buses :)
Breakfast was very poor as it is same in all European Hotels..
Close to the train station and clean
Beds are a bit hard
the room size is good. the location is good, very close to the station.
One of receptionists was really unhelpful and did not believe what we said. Instead of trying to help us out or trying to investigate the problem with the wi-fi connection in our room, he said "I can not help you at all. If you use one of our hotel's computers at the lobby and it does not work, I will refund you." So he treated us as a lair. I have never known any hotels that do not have any managers on duty at the weekend. Three receptionists said that there was no duty manager at the weekend. One of them said that none of managers works at any hotels in Bologna. Is that normal in Italy?
cool and surprising decor throughout and the feeling of relaxation that persisted throughout - even though there was a major soccer match on that evening. Excellent bedroom and bathroom.
The take-away breakfast was pretty pathetic really. We were glad of it but felt they could try harder to find something edible.
Location was good, just in front of the train station and within a 15-minute walk to the Centro. Love the modern decor of the room and the whole hotel. Unlike most Italian hotels, they actually carry CNN and a movie channel in original language!
The girl at reception didn't have a good command of English. I wanted to pay for my room with a debit card but this was rejected when I made a booking here on the website so I had to use a credit card. When I checked in I told the lady at reception my preference and she said ok. I reiterated my preference again when I checked out and she said ok again plus I needed to pay 3 euros for city tax anyway. Gave my debit card and we went through the transaction. As I was in a hurry, I didn't really pay attention to what was debited but when I inspected my receipts, only 3 euros was debited from my debit card and the room was still charged to my credit card. It's not really a big deal but hotels should only employ people who can deal with foreigners! Secondly, there was two of us staying in the room which was very clear in the booking but the room was only stocked with 1 set of towels and toiletries - first time ever that I've experienced this and I've traveled a lot!
