UNA Hotel Palace  

Apart from the room which was much as expected, I really enjoyed dinner in your roof restaurant, especially the marinated fish salad and the big bottle of water automatically provided. It was also nicely within walking distance of the main things to see. Your English speaking man on reception was particularly helpful.

I always notice what size and type of towels any hotel provides. I have long hair which I like to wrap in a separate towel after I've washed in the shower. I did not really have a very appropriate towel to do this in addition to the normal bath sheet.

The location is excellent, in the very heart of Catania on the Via Etnea, close to everything. I have mobility problems so being close to most places was a very important issue. The place is very beautifully designed and with tasteful decor. The staff, however, are definitely the hotel's main asset. They are all extremely friendly, very efficient and sincerely show you that it is a true pleasure for them to be of service. Dignified, friendly hospitality without ever being servile or contrived. I definitely recommend the hotel. It may be a tad pricier than others in the area but the overall satisfaction of staying there more than compensates. You feel that you are getting good value for your money which, ultimately, is what matters most.

Its location, staff very helpful and nice and cleanliness and it has all the comfort a person requires to relax in.

The breakfast could have been better although it was good and also if it as tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Great Location easy access to everything...

Elaine Majeski and Angela Calandra stayed at Hotel Una for 7 nights. Upon arriving we settled into our allocated room which was room 312 it was a very spacious room with a very large bathroom. After sharing our concerns about the bathroom with Valeria the manager in charge, she was very professional and made sure that we were allocated another room. Even though we were very self conscious about our experience and felt that we should not stay, Valeria and the staff made our stay at Hotel Una a memorable one.

We were very stressed at the thought that the bathroom was not as private as it should have been .After having a very long shower in the floor shower my friend Elaine informed me that she had to use most of the bath towels as water spilled onto the floor and made it very slippery and dangerous. I went to have a look and agreed not to use the floor shower but have a shower in the bathtub shower instead (2 showers in room 312). It was after my shower that I relayed my concerns to Elaine of the possibilty that the bathroom was not as private as it should be. Elaine video taped me clothed in the bathroom from the corridor which was where the elevator was We showed the video to Valeria who was the manager on duty.I Believe that it was very clear that anyone could have seen us in the bathroom, from the point that the video was taken.We think that the hotel needs to put curtains in this bathroom to avoid future customers like us feeling uncomfortable.

Nice in-house environment with very good service. Few things could be improved though like offering a space for coffee etc all day round with some provisions for the smokres

Fantastic hotel, great staff.

Never had a harder bed than this but lovely cool clean room.

Hotel confortable en plein centre-ville, l'accueil à la réception était super on nous a expliqué tout ce qu'il y avait à voir à Catane, chambre et lit bien aménagée et très confortable.

Prix du parking un peu élevé (20€/jour), prix de l'internet trop élevé, prix du sauna un peu élevé (20€/personne), douche dans la chambre avec peu de pression.

Bellissimo hotel situato in posizione centralissima,camere pulitissime e spaziose,colazione ottima con ampia scelta di dolce e salato,personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo.Ci tornerei sicuramente.

La cura del design, l'eleganza, la centrakità della posizione.

E' triste non vedere alcuna immagine sacra nè in camera nè altrove, in particolare in una città che ha forti radici cristiane. L'accesso a Internet dovrebbe essere gratuito , magari con accessi anche solo di 15 minuti.

La posizione, camere comode ed accoglienti e la gentilezza del personale

La qualità del cibo servito al ristorante non è all'altezza. Sconsiglierei di cenarvi
