Great room, very nice environment, helpful and nice staff.
The breakfast was rather good but just a little below my expectation, and the comfort of the bed was just good.
Restaurant on the roof is nice and the huge table of appetizers served before dinner - free with drinks in the bar is a phenomenal treat. The reception desk staff was very helpful with a phone call to Iberia Airlines.
Breakfast staff was indifferent and the offerings were not quite as splendid as the breakfasts we had at other hotels on our month-long tour of Sicily, though perfectly adequate. Hard mattress Didn't find Catania very interesting
The staff were brilliant from the moment we arrived, very helpful and gave great recommendations for things to see locally. The hotel is on the main shopping street, the view from the dining room is unbeatable, looking out at Etna was such a treat, only to be outdone by the meal. Our room was perfect.
Having to leave!
We loved everything: Roof top bar, happy hour, room, bed, wifi, location, staff, breakfast.
So many one way streets, finding hotel was a challenge. Had to have hotel park car.
The best Hotel staff I have seen so far, they are so helpful and kind. Everything is perfect, location, rooms, breathtaking roof....If you have enough budget, stay here in Catania.
There is no Wi-Fi. It's ridicoulus in this modern times.
The location The ok size of the room
The staff who looks really not happy to work there and not really nice with us as a consequence The bad smell in the room the 10€ fee to have breakfast on the rooftop!!! The dark room and average breakfast quality if you don't pay for the extra
A lovely relaxing time spent in the hotel What a wonderful breakfast and fantastic service from all staff.Enjoyed drinks sitting in the Autumn sun on the 7th floor terrace reading.... really relaxing
City centre hotel: very quiet in rooms. Standard breakfast was excellent in variety and quality. It's position was within walking distance of most of Catania's historic sites.
Nothing. All was good
Great location on via Etna in the center of Catania. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Bed was comfortable and room of a good size. Our room was quiet even though it looked out over the street. The view from the roof top bar was a highlight.
We found it difficult to get a seat at breakfast and the breakfast selection was not as good as at other hotels.
Room was comfortable and well laid out with good lighting. We had drinks and dinner in the roof top bar and restaurant which was very pleasant and stylish.
The room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The front desk staff were great, particularly Rita. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and plentiful. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city. The view of Mt Etna from my balcony was magical, especially at sunset. The hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable rates.
A very minor issue, which could have just been the result of a bad day - the al carte breakfast serving staff on the terrace, were either very short staffed or unskilled, as the service was extremely slow and inaccurate at times.
Restaurant facilities excellent, albeit a somewhat limited menu. Dining room also pleasant and open, but again breakfast limited.
1. Bathroom...towels very thin and tired, with hand-towels no more than tea-towels. Floor to ceiling opaque glass in bathroom, but no curtains/blinds in bathroom so privacy compromised. 2. Car parking cost of Euro 20.00 /day. 3. Internet costs of Euro 3.00 / hour. 4. Nasty stains on some bedroom furniture, which could have been removed without a great deal of trouble. 5. Very limited wardrobe space.
Room very comfortable.Rooftop bar nice.Good central location.
Finding the hotel on a busy Sunday in the maelstrom of Catania traffic. My satnav took us to the end of the road where there was no vehicle access.Directions to the hotel could be improved.
Very Central location if you're shopping!
Wifi should be free
very clean tidy relaxing hotel in city centre. Ideal base. We only stayed one night but breakfast was great.
We didn't like anything about this hotel.
The rooms, which were dirty and the carpets stained and filthy, were far tole expensive. Tremendous noise from the street. Rooms billed as suites were not suites at all. Would never recommend this hotel.
Super location on main shopping street; could walk to most of the main tourists sites Very friendly and helpful Sicilian staff Breakfast was more than adequate Room 317 away from street is nice and quiet at night
Having to pay for Internet No courier service (Fedex, DHL) available
GREAT LOCATION. NICE ROOFTOP RESTAURANT. GOOD BREAKFAST
PILLOWS TOO THIN. FAN /A/C IN ROOM TOO NOISY
Rita, the woman in reception who greeted me, immediately confirmed I had made a great decision choosing the Una Palace for my stay! I received such personal service and no matter what I asked or needed, Rita took care of my needs. The rooftop restaurant was a wonderful place to relax, the appetizers were sumptuous and the dinner offerings were great! Overall the service, facility and staff were all one could ask for!!
Actually nothing !! My stay was superb from the beginning to end!
The hotel had a great location and the staff was excellent
Proximity to shopping.
Hard mattress. Analogue TV.
The location was accessible to the "Old Town" frequented by tourists. The main streets seemed safe enough.
The rug in our hotel room was so dirty that the previously gray color was almost black in some locations. We drove our car, parked in their garage (about $25.00 per day) however the staff did not give us the necessary paper to display in the window so we received a traffic ticket.
The hotel is fairly new and it's beautifully designed. The location is very convenient and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Certainly recommend the breakfast at the terrace - you pay a little extra but the food is delicious and the view is unbeatable.
Nice central location. Roof terrace is fantastic, Wait staff are excellent but hit and miss with the concierge staff.
Front rooms are noisy (but you do look over a great street) Difficult to drive to and park. Rooms are big but getting old and need renovating.
Staff is extemely nice. Quit exceptional. I would definately go again.
There is nothing not to like
