We stayed at the Una Hotel Roma both pre and post our cruise from Rome. I chose the hotel mainly for its great location near to Termini Station where the airport bus stopped and where we had to take a train to the port. It was ideally placed being only a 2 minute walk from the station. The check in went smoothly and the receptionistgave us a map and printed out information on train times etc for us which was heplful. We had booked a standard room, which was lovely very modern with clean lines but still with classsic features. The bed was roomy and comfortable and the room was quiet even though it overlooked the side street. The bathroom was well lit and had a walk in shower and lots of complimentary toiletries were on offer. The breakfast was buffet style and there was lots of choice from cereals, bacon, eggs, bread, cakes and fruit. Tea or coffee was served to you at the table. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the Colesseum one way or over to the Trevi Fountain area another - although there were restaurants in the immediate vicinity if you didn't want to stray further afield. On our return trip we were upgraded to a superior room on the 6th floor which again was beautifully appointed and much appreciated. I would recommend the Una Hotel for a stay in Rome.

When arriving (after searching for an hour) at Hotel Roma, an "una" hotel I asked for a quiet room since I read on the site some rooms were noisy due to the street below. We were upgraded to a suite, which was ample for the 2 of us, and very nice, however, it was located on the street side of the hotel. The street noise is a nuisance for light sleepers, so that being said, if you are a light sleeper, ask for an inside room....the hotel is built in a square with two inside hallways, and the inside rooms are around an open inside courtyard.....The breakfast was terrific, w/ ample selections. We stayed 2 nights, then caught the train, which is a 2 minute walk away. Also close to hop on/hop off bus and metro for touring Rome. Lots of eateries nearby... Expensive...

Wow what a beautiful hotel and the room we had (suite) was absolutely amazing - large, clean, modern and brand new. Location was perfect for everywhere in Rome. The breakfast buffet was by far the best on our trip - great for the sweet tooth! The staff were also great and very friendly. Nothing at all

After arriving off Terrivision Bus at Termini Station we crossed the road and seen the hotel, it was a stones throw away. Our accommodation was very contemporary and modern. It was more than I expected as I had read so many bad reports of hotels in Rome, this was a beautiful room. The bathroom was just what I would love at home, huge bath with shower, limestone tiles, all glass and chrome. It was also very easy to get around, across the street from the hotel was the office for open top buses and tours. We booked the hop on hop off bus ticket for 2 days. This was a good idea as we could just travel around the city and stop at all the landmarks.

Welcoming and helpful reception staff. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Restaurant staff very attentive and provided a high level of service. 2 minor points; the ceiling in the bathroom (rm 503) could be doing with a repaint as it appears to have suffered water damage possibly from the room above. Having looked at the hotel's facilities on line thought we'd visit the roof top terrace on our final evening for a look over the roof tops of Rome. The access doors to it were locked and we could see through the windows that there were no tables or chairs as though it was out of use.

Location was very good, cleanliness was excellent, breakfast was rich comparing with many other hotels in Rome and there were no noise around hotel (we were at 6th floor,Pillows was confortable so that we can easily fall asleep.Breakfast service staff was so polite and helpful. Primarily the price of the hotel was so high for a 4 star hotel. Front Desk staff were so careless to the customers and if you do not ask anything they do not even say good morning or goodby.. Althought I've mentioned in my request letter that it was our 20th Marriage anniversary, they do not even send a celebration card to our room , no welcome cocktail as a courtesy and even they did not say good-by. I have stayed in a Superior Double Room With Balcony and it was smaller than it advertised and bathroom was not so functional.

Location is excellent. Few steps from train station, metro station and main bus station. Paradise for Muslims if looking for Halal food (many halal food restaurants nearby). Very clean rooms. Breakfast very good. No free internet (however several Internet cafes in few steps at a low price. No coffee/Tea maker at rooms.

I liked most everything about una hotel Roma, the rooms, the staff. We had a wonderful stay. The only disappointing element was that the bar for food and drink (and room service) was closed by midnight.

This hotel was so perfect for us. We wanted somewhere near to Termini station and this was less than 5 minutes walk. Some people have commented that it's not that nice a location but we had no problems whatsoever, and the street it was in was absolutely fine, with several restaurants close at hand. It was also a perfect location for sight seeing, we walked the entire time, bar once, when we got a metro to the Caracalla Baths for the open air opera, a fantastic evening and experience. We even walked back from this at 1 am as the Metro had stopped running by then. The staff in the hotel were extremely welcoming and helpful, and it was a pleasure to stay there. My husband and I had a Superior double room, and our 17 year old daughter and her friend had a standard. Both rooms were excellent and very spacious, with lovely spacious well equipped bathrooms too. We would definitely stay here again, and I would say we wouldn't think it necessary to book a superior room as the standard are so good too. Our room was on the inside of the building (around a courtyard), it was slightly darker, but cool and very quiet, the girls' was on the outside, brighter but you could hear the street a little, but it certainly was not an issue at all. Both rooms were on the 5th floor. The air conditioning worked well and was very quiet. Breakfast was a veritable feast, and the cocktails in the bar were lovely, and at €7 each at happy hour (6.30 - 8.30), pretty reasonable for a hotel, as they came with excellent service and a 'help yourself to canapes' which were beautifully presented with an excellent choice. It's definitely on my list of places to return to. If I had to mention a negative it would be the WiFi charge. It is quite expensive, at €6 per hour. We, however, did what I imagine a lot of people do, and that was pay €10 per day/room for free WiFi and minibar. If you are going to use the internet it's definitely worth it. The minibar is not extensive, 2 still water, 2 sparkling water, 2 cans beer, and some fruit juices, peanuts and pringles. But this meant you had cold drinks to come back to after a day in the heat, out and about in Rome.

This is an excellent 4-star hotel with plenty of space and comfort. Right foot too high, large bathroom and super king size bed. The location is very close to the train station, subway and bus center (easy to go anywhere in Rome.) The proximity of the hotel are not the prettiest but without any danger. Breakfast also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Simply perfect for a short trip! We really enjoyed out stay there... Friedly staff, great breakfast buffets, comf and big bed, location was great near everything we needed for a short break. The only thing I would change would be adding extra tv channels in English and make the Internet wifi cheaper. ;-)

Modern design, very clean, very comfortable bed and right sized room, large for Rome in fact! Extremely kind staff, I was given excellent retaurant suggestions, and help whenever needed. I needed to be near Termini so thay was my choice but I would re-consider this location it is so convenient to get in and out of Rome (including train to Fiumicino) and well located to reach all sites either by walking or by tube. The bathroom was modern with a great shower but had a leak on the ceiling. Not bad enough for me to change room in the 3 days I was there but it was obvious and it felt it had been ignored. I am also quite sure if I had complained I would have been given a different room.
