UNA Hotel Vittoria  

Excellent hotel staff. Very good for those who arrives with a car. Walking distance from the downtown. Comfort and big room. Very good breakfast.

It´s unacceptable to charge 3 Euro for a 30 minutes Wifi Connection. Hotel was very nice, but just for this reason I would never come back or recommend a una Hotel.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Location is better than it looks on the map. It may be 30mins to walk to the old town where the Uffizi is, but its only 5 mins from Otramo, the coolest district in Florence. Great bars, resturants sit alongside old artisan workshops and piazzas.

Where do we start? No aircon (apparently they can't use aircon until the city authorities say so) so the room had hot air pumped into it. We had to have the window open all the time, and that meant dogs barking and police sirens disturbing all night. Bed bugs? Yup, covered in bites. Horrrible in-room decor. I know its a personal taste thing, but black leather walls with blue pin-lights makes it feel like a dungeon in a Friday night horror film. The utterly dumb, overhanging footboard. If you turn over during the night, you will bang your feet and wake up. The shower didnt drain flooding the entire bathroom. There's a load of other trivial stuff that I wouldn't want to bore you with. Overall I would say it was a triumph of design over good sense. A dumb dumb idea.

Internet/wifi good but to expensive: €3/30 min

It is lovely buiding whithin easy walk from the city center. The room was modernly designed with huge mirrows and red walls, while the bathroom was all blue with a partly transparent glass. The breakfast was generous too.

Some people can find the design over complicated, You can hardly watch tv in the room even tough there are 2 of them. Rooms aren't really cosy. We had some parking problems too.

Unusual attractive design, great breakfast and the opportunity to park the car. During the night, perfect dark and quiet in the room - good conditions for a good night's sleep.

Design and furniture in room were awful. Shower onto bathroom floor got whole bathroom wet. Not enough hangers or drawers to store clothes. Lighting was terrible. These weird reading lights came out of the wall above the bed weren't bright enough to read by. Then you hit your head on them when you got up.The other light didn't brighten the room enough to read any small print.

Breakfast was a long and leisurely affair, we took our time, sat outside and drank lots of coffee provided by attentive waitresses.

The beds in the superior room were large, however they turned out to be two smaller beds pushed together, and although they were sturdy they did move apart at times during our stay creating a small valley between me and Mrs Me.

The hotel was centrally located, the staff was very friendly and courteous, and the hotel design was very modern and chic. We loved it!
