UNA Hotel Napoli

Kindness of the staff.Location for my purposes (close to the train station)

the staff was great, both at reception and at the bar/restaurant/ They made us feel very good.

the internet connection worked only for the PC, not for the Mac

Actually, I didn't like anything. The food was far more expensive than in the 4 star hotel we stayed at in Rome the week before. The roof top terrace was shut for a private function so guests could not use it. (the hotels only redeeming feature) The wardrobe door was damaged in our room, but all this pales into insignificance when you consider the location.

They made us turn off the lights because of electricity usage! How dare they!!!!!!

the staff did not understand a word of english.the location was extremely poor,you can not walk by yourself when its dark ,a lot of pick pockets.

Really nice room, comfortable bed, modern decor, lovely bathroom, electronic control box at bedside for lights, helpful front desk staff, excellent breakfast ,and very good restaurant with pleasant wait staff, rooftop terrace. The location on Piazza Garibaldi is a handy location for public transit (bus, metro, train). I would stay there again. Great hotel. Thank you UNA!

Internet (especially when using the terminal in the lobby) should be free. Piped in music in restaurant was a little bothersome in being too loud at times but waiter was kind enough to turn it down.

Noisy (first floor)

Helpful staff, noisy area which is not in a very nice part of town. The closeness of the train station is a plus for travel to Pompei and other attractions. It is within walking distance of some decent shopping and good restaurants.

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and airport. I was coming from sorrento by train after 12 days of traveling Italia,I had a 6:45 flight in the morning and wanted a comfortable rest before my travels back to the states- the Una hotel definitely fir the bill and the room was awesome!!

I hated naples but liked the Hotel-naples is the armpit of italy-i could not believe the philth of this city-trash everwhere!!!!!!!!!! what gives? will try to avoid flying into or out of this city in the future-not a good way to end my trip after taking in all the beauty italy has to offer-

The rooms are reasonably comfortable. The breakfast is quite very good, and the staff are warm and welcoming. I will be quite happy returning to this same hotel next time around.

The environment outside the hotel which has nothing to do with the hotel itself. The hotel itself meets a high standard.

The Executive Room was No. 509 on the 5th floor with a stunning view of the Piazza Garibaldi & Mount Vesuvious. Two balconies (facing different directions) & fully soundproofed (and blackout) for a great nights sleep. Pillow menu for the discerning & complimentary slippers & dressing gown. Excellent toiletries. Large room, wonderful marble bathroom. Menu looked excellent, but expensive.

The area, like most of Naples was not great, but acceptable - just turn right when leaviong the hotel and you will be fine - all the shops are there. The bed would be a little hard for some people.

Interior of the hotel is very interesting, next time I want to visit any other UNA hotels in Italy. Brakfast period give you flexibility.

Great bar and restaurant. The hotel has been refurbished in a modern and pleasing style. The view from our room was opened out onto the ain square where we also could see Mount Vesuvius but we were quite high up on the 5th floor.

Not really, the bed and pillows were a bit hard but could not fault any thing else in hotel. Those are sensitive to basic urban surroundings might find the area a bit unnerving but if you are prepared to overlook this and don't want a picture postcard when you walk out the door, you will experience the real atmosphere of Naples not a santized version.
