Urbana 33

This hotel is absolutely fantastic in an ideal location for seeing Rome, on a bustling street filled with bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. Maria the woman who runs the hotel was fantastic, and couldn't be more helpful, she was lovely to talk to and delivered breakfast to our room promptly every morning. The room itself was good, a tiny bit on the small side but we were offered a different room but we preferred to have the street view of Via Urbana so compromised on space..the bathroom was a decent size and the shower was great too. The bed so so comfortable and no noise at all during the night/early morning. We had use of a fridge to store drinks in, our room could not get a wifi connection which did concern me but we were allowed use of their computer at reception which was very handy to keep in touch with my kids. The restaurant across the street from the hotel was delicious and very reasonable. Will definitely be back again to stay in this wonderful little hotel!!!

This apartment annexe is a short walk from Via Urbana 33... when we see the apartment we were blown away by how modern and clean it was. Set in a quiet street off Via Cavour. The bed was a little uncomfortable but the rest of the place was lovely, even had a little kitchen area, bathroom was small but the shower was one of the biggest I have used in Rome. Ideal base for seeing Rome!

Password didn't work for the wifi connection.

Urbana33 is in a very good location, a few metres from the metro stop and 10 minutes from the main Roma Termini station. It's also close to local cafes and restaurants. Maria the housekeeper was great in making sure all our needs were met.

As mentioned in previous reviews, one of the highlights of Urbana 33 is the staff, and I couldn't agree more! I only stayed here for a few nights, but I felt very welcomed and taken care of. The woman who runs the B&B is a pleasure to talk to, she seems to genuinely want her guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. The location is wonderful as well, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable and there is no issue with noise or anything at night. Breakfast is brought to your room, which is a definite plus in my book (who doesn't enjoy breakfast in their pj's?). I absolutely will stay here again!

Due to some delay, we arrive at the B&B at nearly 1am. Maria (the housekeeper) stayed up for us to let us in and pass us the keys to the room. When Maria understand that our luggage was delayed, she help us by contacting the airport to try to get our luggage delivered to us on the same day. Also upon realising we need some medication, she even walk 2 metro stations with my husband to get the medicine. Even the owner's wife email me to check if we need help and gave us some advise on the medication. If I will be visit Rome again, Urbana 33 will definitely be the place I'll stay! It's really near to Cavour Metro Station. Stay in Urbana 33 if you wish to experience a home away from home.

Maria (the housekeeper) was amazing in assisting us with everything we needed. Rooms are really nicely fitted out. And location is ideal (I would advise people to get the Metro to Cavour rather than walk from Termini with all your bags! Also make sure you have the hotel phone number to hand when you get there as there is not always anyone to let you in on arrival (through 3 locked Doors)

It’s a small hotel (adapted apartment) in a very cute and vibrant street. The lady who works there is very nice and helpful. Room was clean and the furniture was new. It was quiet since the street is more of a pedestrian area with very limited traffic. Right outside the room (at the reception) there is a computer at your disposal. Colosseum is in a walking distance, the train station also, both about 10 minute walk, Cavour metro station is three minutes away. The street features several very nice and affordable restaurants, always packed.

No big complains. We had four keys in order to get to our room. The window was very small, letting in sooo little light, 9 am felt like it was dawn, was a bit hard to wake up.

We loved the great location(2 min walk from the cavour metro station) near to all main attractions.Mrs maria was great helping us with anything we wanted although she couldnt speak very good english..the room was always clean and tided and in the afternoon.very pleasand stay and a great value for money!!!

Our stay at Urbana was very nice, Maria was very helpfull and thoughtful. The room was clean and a nice size, bathroom was perfect. Urbana 33 is located in very cosy and local street, no traffic noise at night. Still it was close to all the big tourist sights such as Colusseum and Forum Romanum. The breakfast was not included in the price, but for a extra price of 3 euros pr person and ok breafast could be served, which included cookies, coffee and milk, toast and mamelade

The only small downside was the aircondition, is was quite hard to control and was noise at the night

Put in the wrong room for 3 out of 5 nights. With no air con and bad wifi connection. The beds blanket in the first room was covered in hair. The shower head kept on falling off and the temperature of the showers in both rooms alternated between extremes of hot and cold. The second room was cleaner and better but still had issues with the shower (no lights really in the room !) and the wifi still terrible. Which for a traveller from abroad needing to search for things online is not helpful.

I chose this hotel for location, price and based on other reviews of the hotel. We got everything we expected for what we anticipated. The room was very clean and we were greeted by the woman who ran the hotel with enthusiasm and professionalism. The room was small but very tidy. We enjoyed staying in this type of hotel because it was in a building with other apartments and shops, etc so you are staying in a real Rome neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants and shops on the street and in the neighborhood. Great price on the room too!

The shower stall was a bit small so if you're a bigger person it may be hard to shower. But there wasn't much to complain about here!

Location relative to Coliseum and town center.

No English spoken. No ability to assist with local travel, sight seeing, or tours. The one and only person running the hotel knows nothing about what to do or see, has no insights on local businesses or activities, is unable to recommend any restaurants or places to visit. She is Russian, doesn't speak English or Spanish, and only limited Italian. Rooms are very small with very old, run down furniture. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people in the other rooms breathing...not to mention everything else they are saying and doing.

Das Hotel könnte etwas besser angeschrieben sein. Wir standen direkt vor der Via Urbana 33 und hatten es zuerst nicht als Hotel erkannt.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance. Molto comoda pulita e in ottima posizione x soggiorni al centro di Roma

L appartement bien situé Le rabais de 40 euros suite au problème et le petit cadeau de compensation et un mail d'excuse du propriétaire. Bel appartement bien décoré et au calme.

Pas de signalétique en arrivant au numéro 33: multiples sonnettes. Un accueil ne parlant qu'italien meme pas anglais Une réservation d'appartement remplacé suite à un problème jamais expliqué par une minuscule chambre de 10m2 heureusement que Booking a pris le relais. Déception car l'appartement réservé faisait 90 m2 que nous avons quand meme récupérer le 2e jour. Petit déjeuner trop simple et déposé sur une minuscule table au sein d ela chambre.

расположение - типичная ( в моем представлении) итальянская улочка, колоритная, живая, где все местные друг друга знают, с удовольствием и дружелюбно общаются. центр города - не нужно вообще покупать транспорт, даже до собора петра можно в прекрасном темпе прогулочном дойти за 30-40 минут. хозяйка. мария, во-первых, говорит по-русски, чувствуешь себя так, будто ты в гостях у своей дальней тетушки, приходишь вечером домой, поговоришь, тебя расспросят. но все это ненавязчиво, деликатно. завтрак с утра в номер принесет - кофе, йогурт, соки, джем - это очень приятно - быть в риме и пить кофе в постели.! чисто, аккуратно. спасибо всем за отзывы, выбрала на основании мнения предыдущих путешественников, и рекомендую дальше. мы с мужем и нашим детям и знакомым рекомендуем - в риме живите у марии.

Se agradece que al salir del país, encuentres gente como Maria, des del minuto uno nos atendió con mucho cariño. Facilitó mapa y como llegar a lugares concretos, via urbana tiene 4 o 5 restaurantes para cenar muy recomendables, respecto al ruido es muy tranquilo y la habitación perfecta con un desayuno por 3 euros persona que merece la pena.

Camera ricavata da un appartamento in un vecchio (non antico) palazzo senza spazi comuni. C'è di meglio.

El estilo y la limpieza

No es un hotel, es un b&b en un edificio de viviendas. No esta bien señalizado en la puerta y tuvimos q llamar por telefono. Nos mandaron a una señora que lo hace todo. No obstante nos gusto, es agradable.

La situation géographique est parfaite non loin de la gare et proche du Colisée. La rue est agréable et calme, des restaurants et un métro sont à proximité. Le personnel est accueillant.

Todo, principalmente lo amplia y decorada de la habitación y el desayuno, por 3 euros adicionales te dan un excelente desayuno. Ademas la preocupación de la señora Maria en atenderte lo mejor posible

Отличная управляющая. Милая, активная женщина. Простые комнаты, как и должно быть в B&B, но все чисто. И самое главное отличное расположение, центр.
