Nice breakfast area. Very central location.
Far too hot in the rooms and limited possibilities to get the temperature down. Very minimalistic room and especially bathroom. Hard to get in and out!!
The breakfast on the rooftop was a wonderful way to start the day.
The coffee at breakfast was disappointing: cold and not strong enough!
Familiarity & location. The statues throughout the hotel. The breakfast
The concierge recommended a restaurant & offered to make a reservation for us. The failed to do so. We were left without a reservation on Friday night. Thankfully Edy restaurant understood and made accommodations for us.
Very close to the touristic areas. It includes two restaurants and two bar. The roof place for brackfast is amazing.
Rooms are small. Very expensive only the reception employees speaks multiple languages. The quality of guests is not very hight
Breakfast Style of the hotel Location - close to Piazza del Popolo
€100 per night (bed and breakfast) is quite expensive, considering that we spent the whole day out of the hotel.
Location, courteous staff, hotel amenities
There were renovations work in the hotel and that impacted the quality of our stay---there were early morning loud noises
Staff this is my 3rd time staying there. The last time I had to pay more but had a great room with a balcony
Good at restaurant is expense yet so so. It was better that first time I stayed about 3 years ago.
The Hotel is a nice cozy hotel , with a lovely terrace . Good Location as well , in the city .
I found the price a little higher for the room size and the hotel standard .
Staff at front desk particularly, location
First room Food over priced
The Valadier is located in a strategic area and is close to the subway and bus lines. Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are within walking distance. The Hotel offers all the amenities and great breakfast. Bathroom very nice, quiet room. The breakfast attendants are very kind. There are several great restaurants just steps away. Try the Brillo Parlante, owned by the hotel group.
The lobby is quite dark. The choice of black marble and mirrors, rather darkens the environment, making it a bit overwhelming. Sometimes almost "walked" through the wall because the dark blurs the vision. There was a younger, very obnoxious and full of importance receptionist. He seemed to sniff donors fat tips, before deciding how to meet us. However, it was not a problem because, after all, he is only a minor official, without greater importance in the general context. Just ignore him!
Really great place, not noisy on a very very busy Easter weekend. Breakfast is great. Restaurant was fabulous for lunch or dinner. No question we would stay again.
Comfort of room, view, helpful intelligent staff. Excellent food in rooftop restaurant.
Unforgiveably hideous selection of "art" in lobby. I remember that space from earlier times.
Fantastic hotel..thank you for the gift, really appreciated For my next trip in Rome, of Course Valadier
Love the location, can walk to everywhere. Love the bar and restaurant next door.
The bathroom was tiny and not fit for two people. The rooms was very warm and air conditioning wasn't working properly.Find the piano bar too dark.
Location of the hotel is excellent. Service is good and staffs are kind.
The hotel is old one. From the vague mirror on the ceiling, we can see clearly the history of the hotel. I think the boss should consider to decorate the rooms again. We were updated to junior suite from triple room free of charge. It's quite kind. But the room is still very small. Maybe it's typical problem of Rome hotels.
Rooms are quite small and stuffy and A/C would not work on cold. Also lots of noise from the bar till early hours of the morning
Very noisy hotel, apart from outside noise we even heard house keeper using vacuum cleaner. Plus absence of hot water, poor bathroom equipment and always not working internet
Location, location, location
Size of the room (very small, but comfortable)
Breakfast is not good - cold coffe and tea
Perfect location and very helpful staff.
Internet connection was inconsistent.
This was my honey moon trip. The best location you can ever have in Rome, everything is around you. The staff and service is super, frankly I never had similar service in any such hotel in the world. The staff is very nice and helpful.
There is no enough TV channels, most of them are in Italian.
We had to change the room 3 times!!! - had no water at all in the everning a few times or a very low water pressure - after we complained they suggested to change a room for the 4th time within the week! - the rooms are very small and the old fashioned - you will feel like living in a museum with the dark old mirrows (felt like the horrow movies) - wi-fi did not work, they said it is a problem in the neighborhood - breakfast is very limited for a choice - at the end does not deserve 4 stars - very low value for money. Would recommend to avoid the place to the Russian travellors not to be dissapointed.
It's a Small Hotel but very charming and elegant. I book a triple and i got a suite at the same price. Good Breakfast, excellent restaurant with a nice view on the top floor, charming piano bar for the evening. Central location perfect to visit Rome.
Room size is excellent
Path room to small
Ambience, room design and layout, location near Paizza del Populo
The first night was quiet, being mid street On the second night on a corner, restaurant noise kept us awake until midnight. Then it got worse, barking dogs and loud arguments continued until 2 am Then it got worse, around 3 am noises that sounded like staff washing up, further loud arguments Unbelieveably at 4:30 am a street gang turned up with what looked like an oil rig on a truck and proceeded to make a lot of noise until after 5:00 We flew back to Australia the next day and missed more than a nights sleep
