the service Was great and the hotell is very comfortabale. Especial thanks to receptionist Nadia who hela us with our brocken car. We Will absolutly going back again ;0))
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Valdor. It is a beautiful, well maintained villa that is perhaps a little faded, but for us, that added to the charm. The artworks on the walls, the beautiful garden and the quiet surrounds were a delight. The Hotel Valdor is spotlessly clean with lovely rooms and nice meals. A word of warning, if you are using Tom Tom or a similar satnav guidance program, they may direct you to the Lido ferry terminal, this is incorrect. Hotel Valdor is another 50kms from there, you do not go on the car ferry to get there.
long way to get to hotel
Lovely balcony, great location for access to ferry to Venice, close to local restaurant, and grocery stores. Very pretty grounds
No wifi in room, or very poor if occasionally possible, room very tiny with really no room for 2 suitcases, shower setup doors overlapped toilet it was so small
Location, Car Parking, the Beach behind hotel
Double bed was put together from 2single beds!!! That means I and my girl friend we was divided by the hard wood-lining in our bed. Old-fashioned tv,no wifi in rooms, no fridge..
Very hard to get taxi from port punta sabbioni back to hotel. Its worthed to go with the car and park there for 5 euro/ day
Convenient for a visit to Venice bus stop to port for ferry is quite close also hotel has own campsite and private beach.Choice for dinner and breakfast
Local Hotel handy for the village of Ca Savio. Direct access to their own private beach with reserved sun chairs ( at a price per week) Modern clean rooms. Trattoria Funghettoes was in walking distance and provided excellent food each night
Breakfast was not the best but was a good selection of continental style buffet food. ( no bacon and eggs dear friends)
Reasonably priced food/alcohol on site and great staff. Friendly/family feel to the place.
Had to pay for the private beach parasols/deck chairs. Lots of midges/mosquitos. Not enough loungers by the pool.
Staff were friendly and helpful, set in beautiful green surrounds, lovely walk to the beach. Great location short car ride to catch water bus to Venice
Mossies. They were our worst enemies!
Hotel Valdor was perfect for my stay. My family were in a nearby campsite 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It is peaceful , attractive, comfortable and very efficiently run by helpful and pleasant staff. It is located very close to Ca'Savio town, bus stops etc. I was sent information by email promptly when I requested directions to the hotel.
Nice environment. Clean room. Friendly staff. Free parking under trees.
It was the worst hotel I ever stayed, very small room and far from venice center, you need to take a bus and a vapour to go to venice center. No internet in the room.
+ Personnel was quite nice + The breakfast was buffet with fair quality + Free secure parking
- It was not as close as we thought to Punta Sabbioni to get the ferry to Venice - The beach is not too nice (seashells and algae) - No Wifi signal
Because of a low season, there were not many guests and we enjoyed all qualities of a well run family B&B (chatting with friendly staff and owner, etc) plus amenities of a bigger hotel. It may seem a bit far from Venice centre on the map, but it took us less than 40 minutes from the hotel to the San Marco square.
