View to the Duomo from room window, breakfast, garage
The heating system's fan was a little bit noisy
loved the city
would have liked an extra pillow
Right in the old centre, garage car parking available at very reasonable cost. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast.
Owner was super helpful and location was great. Breakfast was nice too.
would have been nicer if the little fridge had an ice tray.
Location, the lift, breakfast, friendliness of staff
If you rely on WIFI, service is intermittent and frustrating.
Location & a great tip for a restaurant to have dinner
A little bit noisey with the windows open but no real problem
Wonderful, clean, comfortable rooms. Location was convenient and quiet. And the view out most all the windows were beautiful views of the town. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would be happy to return again and again.
Small boutique hotel with lift. We had a room with two twin beds and it included a mini fridge which was very nice. Great breakfast in the morning. Staff was very nice and helpful in arranging a taxi for us to vist Civita de Bagnoregio. Make sure to look up directions to the hotel before venturing out. We took a round about way!
The room was clean. The view of the cathedral from the room was great. There is a certain kitsch value in having room decorations from the 1970s. The location near the center of the city was great.
There was rancid little butters on the breakfast buffet; it smelled terrible, and luckily I only took one bite. Yet, the hotel staff did not believe me or my wife and left the butter on the table. There is no shower curtain in the bathtub.
Spotless. Location. Value
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was down an alley but was only a couple of minutes walk from the main street through Orvieto, near plenty of shops and cafes. It is an ancient building but nicely remodeled inside with well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly. Very quiet area at night.
I couldn't seem to make the TV work. Not a big deal since it was all Italian language anyway.
good breakfasts and pleasant staff
We had a warm welcome from the owners. They provided many things I did not expect. I wish we could have stayed longer to make use of the kitchen and great location. The owners spoke English well which was very helpful to us. I highly recommend this apartment.
Quiet and central. Good breakfast.
No lobby WC for use when picking up left luggage. No outside space for sitting.
It is only a short walk from the funiculare. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely laid out and perfectly adequate. Room and bathroom clean.
breakfast size of single room staff wi-fi??
This was a little gem of a find. The hotel was right in the middle of the town and the staff were lovely and very helpful, the room was comfy if a little basic.
This hotel was very good, it was also quite close to restaurants , coffee shops and Duomo.
Everything! Wish we could stay longer!
Spent 3 days in town one of which was used to visit Assisi. Hotel was excellent and had all the usual facilities e.g. lift, air conditioning etc. Standard Italian breakfast, excellent staff service (all with reasonable english) and close (10 minute walk) to main square. There are numerous restaurants nearby and dining out is very reasonable. The main part of the town is built on a hill. If arriving by train to Orvieto the train stops at the bottom of the town so to reach hotel there are 2 options available viz; 1) Taxi at cost of 20 euro 2) Veniculare (ski lift) which is directly outside the train station and which leaves every 10 minutes and costs 1.30 euro per single trip. It is then a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Purchase ticket at the lift station. Overall Orvieto is well worth a short visit and is to be recommended.
It was very quiet and centrally located.
Room was very small for three people. The breakfast area is very small and no other public spaces or amenities. Needed multiple wi-fi passwords for our different devices.
