Nice small hotel, Good Location near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore,Helpful staff!!Clean room!
Family residence, the owners are very helpful and location very close to Roma Termini First class interior and shower. Feel Secure because owner's restaurant down stair.
Very noisy neighbourhood and bar downstair
This hotel was in a perfect location, right next to the central train and metro station in Rome! Very clean and comfy room with ensuite.
Breakfast was a little bit limited. Staff were a bit too friendly considering we were just 2 young women staying there - maybe best to avoid if you do not want this kind of attention!
The owner was bias in serving breakfast which hurted us.
The restaurant downstairs is owned and operated with the hotel and both were nice and comfortable. Valentino was entertaining and extremely nice. The hotel was very close to Termini station and was nice for the money we paid. I'd stay again.
It was fairly noisy with the windows open, as any big city street is. With the window closed it was very quiet, but too hot. You just have to pick your battle.
The staff is very friendly, always trying to please the guests, they run a restaurant below which is convenient for dining late and also eating breakfast. It is near Roma Termini - you have to walk 3 blocks (5min). The rooms are very clean.
The breakfast is not buffet, you have to ask what you want to eat. Maybe it was because of the heat but the bread was always dry and hard. They arranged for us a taxi to the airport for a fixed price but they overcharged (we only found out it was an overprice when later we used other taxi companies which were cheaper).
3 mins walk from Roma termini station. Basic clean rooms with attached bathroom. Host with his family was helpful and friendly.
Quite crowded and unsafe neighborhood in termini Station area.
Very pleasant and helpful owner (Valentino). We had a lovely stay. My daughter's birthday was made special by Valentino singing with his guitar (she loved it).The restaurant also serves tasty food. The grilled lamb with Italian beer is worth a try.
Valentino and his staff were excellent hosts! Very clean room. Great location close to the Termini Train Station(1 +1/2 blocks).
Location is excellent a few minutes walk from train station. Staff friendly and helpful. Did not have breakfast but lunch very good . would book again if going to rome
Location close to Termini station, as soon as you find it
The hotel is a small sign on the wall, next to a restaurant. You have to present there to get to hotel. Same owner. Poor breakfast.
My daughter of 19 and I, both, did like the furniture and interior of the room and bathroom. Special and very clean. We also did like the Italian-family-atmosphere of the restaurant, with nice food. The owner regularly plays on the guitar and suprises his clients with his singing.
Breakfast is with a very good croissant or something like that, some ham and bread, biscuits, coffee and some kind of lemonade. Better juice and for instance an egg would have been very nice. After all we were on vacation.
it was a really clean room, confortable and beautiful and we had excellent wifi all day!! the owner was really funny..
The breakfast could be more varied, but it is not a big deal
the guys working at the hotel were very kind and helpfull. the facilities were really good and the location near termini and via cavour makes its quite practical...
the owner was a little mistrutful anda that is anoing...
the room was so beautiful and the place I want to live. Perfect place!
Very friendly and funny staff Fine breakfasts Easy access to metro, Termini and city center Small but cozy rooms
Someone was smoking at neighbor room and very strong smell reached ours
Proximity to Termini station Friendly owner
No lift No safe box in room No reception, owner has adjacent restaurant where he seats and if he is away during your arrival you are on your own Breakfast is very basic Aircon is auto and poor Too expensive given the facilities
Staff and Italian Food.
fridge in room did not work, 53 plus steps to floor where our room was
- Very good location.
-Lift was not working. - No WiFi connection from our room -We were charged €4 as an extra tax.
- Very friendly owners; - Good location; - Clean and calm.
- Wifi did not work; - Poor breakfast - absolutely not what is written in the description;
We spent two weeks at that hotel. First week we stayed at a large room with new furniture. But the fridge wasn't working at all. Then we checked out for two days to spend the weekend in Florence. We didn't want to pay for the weekend that's why we checked out for two days. When we came back to the hotel to check in again, Valentino, gave us a small, tiny room with a noisy air-conditioner. We wanted to change our room, but the owner didn't accept. Well, all in all; the location is great. It is 1-minute-walk from Termini. So you can catch metro or buses to everywhere in Rome. Also you can walk to the tourist attractions. The waiter at the restaurant (which is also owned by Valentino)called Luca is a very nice, friendly guy. He helped us with so many things. Also the other waiter was nice too.
Be careful about the owner, Valentino. He doesn't seem reliable. At first he didn't want to write an invoice, I don't know why. So we insisted to take it. In the first room fridge wasn't working and in the second room the air-conditioner was so too loud and making strange noises. So we couldn't use it when we were in the room. Also the hotel is hard to find because there is a only a little sign in the front door. It doesn't look like a hotel at first sight. You have to be very careful and look for the building number carefully. The breakfast was disaster. There was a bad croissant, a tiny slice of stale bread, a small butter and a small jam. That was it. No more bread, food or fruit at all.
