Hotel Valverde  

Breakfast is excellent with variety of foods and drinks. Close to sight-seeing in Verona.

Bathroom is very small.

The hotel was even better than expected! The location was walking distance to all attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided us with a map of Verona. We booked a room with a shared bathroom but were happy to discover that we had been given a room with a private bathroom ( the bathroom was very small but the shower had good pressure and lots of hot water). The room was clean with a small balcony. The breakfast buffet consisted of cereals, fruit, pastries, cookies , bread and cakes and was quite substantial. There is also someone who will make you a fresh cappuccino or coffee too. On one morning when I had a migraine my husband went to breakfast alone and intended to try and bring me some fruit upstairs. When he mentioned this to the lady working in the breakfast room, she went to get him a beautiful breakfast tray and insisted he fill the tray with everything and take it upstairs . The service and friendliness of this hotel is fantastic and we would definitely stay here again.

Very Clean! Staff was very helpfull and lovely! Nice location! We arrived by car and were given a card to be able to stop on a street spot without paying! Very nice of them!!!

The shower box in the bathroom wasn't really a box... Just a curtain and very close to the toilet. Still not so bad as it was very clean, and still not a issue that would avoid me to stay there again!

Location was perfect. Both near to the city center and train station. You can walk through both of them within only 5-10 minutes...

The walls were a bit thin. The next room's noise can be heard easily. But It didn't effect me deeply..

Between the train station and old town. Amazing buffet breakfast!

I got to my room and there was loud construction right net door. I tried to deal with it but it gave me a huge migrane so I asked if I could move rooms. Staff were nonchalant. They said it goes from 8:30am to 7pm and there's nothing they could do about it. I had to insist to move rooms, and there was another available but they were so pained to let me have it, for some reason. The new rooms shower was just a showerhead over a drain with a curtain - water everywhere. And they took my extra showergels.. Weird and annoying..

Location was good and the room was clean

The room was really small, the bathroom was not so comfortable. There was a lot of noise in this hotel, you can hear people in the corridors and if you sleep at the first floor you can hear people going to the breakfast room! And again you can hear people having shower or be at the toilets.

Pretty good! Thumbs up for breakfast~~. Rooms were big and clean and wifi was available in your room

The only thing not that good was the bathroom.. It seemed that bathroom was later added within the room.. Very tiny though it still worked well

Great Staff, Great Location (less than 10 minute walk from the main train station, the Arena, the home of Juliet (as in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet), the old castle. Great Buffet Breakfast.

Basic facilities but reasonably priced, good location if arriving by train as not too far from station and less than 10 minute walk to the arena and old town of Verona.

Good location, easy walk to Verona city centre, polite and helpful staff. Easy to find and good walking distance from railway station. Excellent breakfast and great for a family on a budget!

The front desk ıs always open and receptıon staff are most helpful wıth any enquiries whether local or to help wıth ongoıng travels - e.g.checkıng on the ınternet and prıntıng the traın tıme-table to Venıceç

I had a big room, with a double bed, which I like even as a solo traveller. I was able to sit out on a large terrace. The breakfast was good. It was within 10-15 minutes walk to attractions and about the same to the train station.

The shower was in an open area next to the toilet, so it would get wet whilst you were showering.

Very helpful & pleasant staff at reception and throughout. Easy access to the city centre, easy 10 minute walk. Rooms are basic, air con & balcony are welcome additions.
