Bathrooms are tiny, showers are extremely tight, and somewhat disturbing.

Nothing unpleasant, it is one of the best Italian hotels for me, so far.
I liked everything about the room and the hotel. I'd mention especially the staff, all of them were helpful, polite and very efficient. The rooms were very clean and well cared. It deserves three stars.

Rooms were small, but this was not unexpected given the history of the building.
The hotel was exactly what we expected, close to the station and a short walk from the major tourist areas. The buffet breakfast and communal lounge areas were godd too.

Nice hotel in great location. Good breakfast. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. I booked many rooms and had many emails correspondence with the hotel before arriving they always replied to my questions and requests promptly and in professional manners. So I was satisfied with our stays there. If you come with a car you should stay in this hotel.

The bathroom was very small, pillows were hard, although they did change them when we complained. Scary pictures on the room doors. No bedside lights
Very close to Firenze railway station. Within walking distance of the city / sightseeing / bars and restaurants. Good breakfast, helpful English speaking reception staff. .

the street outside the hotel was a bit noisy at night. The rooms could be cleaner (I found hair in the shower and linen)
confortable rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast and good location.

We had room 205 which is on the front corner of the building by a noisy road. If you want a good nights sleep this room is best avoided. Bathroom was cramped.
Good location for the railway station and short walk to the centre of Florence and main attractions. Large bedroom.

Picture on the room door is scaring. The bathroom is too small.
Very close to Firenze train station. Firenze is small city. You can walk for sightseeing of the city. Breakfast is good. I like the ham and salami. Reception is helpful for guiding the tourism route.

The staff were awesome. I loved that they had someone there at all hours of the day/night. We chatted quite a bit with both the day and night staff - and all were helpful, friendly and welcoming. I can't tell you how great that was - they spent a lot of time helping us understand the map, and even made reservations for various museums (including the Accademia gallery and pitti palace). The hotel itself was very comfortable - the stairs are a bit scary at first, but not a big deal. We did use the elevator quite a bit. The rooms aren't always the easiest to navigate - the halls are quite small and windy, but it wasn't a big deal. I loved that the doors all had paintings on them! The breakfast was absolutely great and very generous. They did a wonderful job keeping the food stocked and all of the tables were set up and cleared efficiently. The location was great for us - we walked right out of the train station and didn't have trouble finding the hotel at all. It wasn't very hard to walk to the museums and galleries from the hotel, as long as we made all of the correct turns! Plenty of cafes, restaurants and grocery stores within 10 minutes of walking or less. Florence was beautiful and the hotel and its staff were so wonderful to us while visiting!

We had rooms at the front where the traffic noise was bad, and the noise from people in the street at the weekend, so that we had to keep the window shut. If I stay here again I would ask for rooms at the back.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide range of food choices; the fresh fruit salad was my favourite. The situation of the hotel was very convenient for the city centre, with most tourist attractions within walking distance, and also handy for the bus and rail stations.

Staff were friendly and helfpul. Proximity to railway station was great and easy walk into town. Loved the quaintness of the building and the breakfasts were excellent. Also - a great location if you're a runner, a fortress is a 2 minute walk away and is fantastic for running laps around!

Nothing really. At a push, room was a little small, but so much to do in Florence, you are rarely in it.
Great Location, 10 mins walk to city centre and sights. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good choice for a continental breakfast in the morning. Good value for Florence.
