-First of all - location. We couldn't find better. Near Vatican, Ottaviano subway station and other main places worth seeing. -The host was one of the best we've ever met. Regards Mr. Max! -Actually, the descritpion was clear and consistent with what we found, so it would be unfair to grumble about sth we'd knew that it would be. Read other comments to be sure what exactly apartments look like. - We didn't except such breakfast. As it's written: croissant, some toasts, nutella, jam, snacks, cappucino or tea, yoghurt, juice, butter... Typical, nothing special, but we've met much worse breakfast in Italy ;) Such breakfast was enough for us till 14 or 15. - Great local restaurant nearby. We hit the jackpot with our first dinner after we arrived. If You ask Mr.Max, He'll give You a business card with 10% discount in this restaurant. - The room was spacious, exactly the same as is presented on the pictures. - Fridge <3 that was really important for Us. In the end You need to have place to make some ice for spritz ;)
- We knew about it, but need to mention: creepy toilet. Probably beacause of the boiler. Don't care about how it looks like, beacause it is shown on photos included, but noise. Whatever you do: wash your hands, poo, showe etc. etc. it emits strange sound :P - It was a lil'bit noisy in the morning, so it kind of, bothered me... Some noise from the corridor, and if you sleep with opened windows - from outside. - The bed was formed from 2 single mattress. Don't know how it looks in other rooms. You need to ask. - Compared to big spacious room, this little tiny TV vanished in wall :P Of course we didn't came to Rome to watch tv, we turned it on only once to hear some italian, but I must admit - it looks quite funny :)
- friendly staff - distance to Vatican - distance to metro - neighborhood - cleanliness in the room - size and equipment in the room - price - everything
- everything was perfect
Great location, perfect facilities, very polite and friendly staff
Very near to Vatican near to metro station not expensive comparing with other hotels
Maxx was fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was great value for money. Location was excellent as a tourist
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, superb location, good restaurants near by, we felt safe all the time. If I am back in Rome I will definitely be back at Vatican Town.
The people, the location, the breakfast.
The smell of the bathroom due to inadequate venting.
Max was very help full. Location is great value for money , breakfast was ok, very near to metro train, most of attraction is on walking distance
Smell on bathroom
location is very good, breakfast in bad, near very very good autentic italian restorant!!!
bad noise insulatin of room.
Rome is an amazing city, but choosing to stay at Vatican Town made our trip even better. First of all, the location is really great, very close to Metro and Tram stations (However, after you discover Rome I'm pretty sure you won't even use public transport because walking is so much fun to get around). Many shops, markets and restaurants around. The room and bathroom looks newly renovated and very clean as shown in photos. Bed is really comfortable and sleep quality is really good because there wasn't any sign of sound disturbances. It was our first experience in a B&B (we didn't want breakfast but I'm sure it would be good) but Vatican Town definetely worth it. I would like to thank a lot to the staff for their kindness and help. Looking forward to come back to Rome and staying at Vatican Town again :)
Highly recommend this hotel. The host is nice and service is perfect!
Nice, spaceous rooms. Very friendly staff. And the most wonderful breakfast brought to your room.
Really have to think of something here. Maybe the fact that you need four different keys to get from the street to your room.
the room was clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly, the location of the place is superb, just 5 minutes from Vatican Museum and St Peter Square.
Staff didn't know what time on Sunday I could see the Pope, they didn't know how to get a pass for the mass/service in St Peter Basilica. Also they booked for me transfer from and to the airport which cost £45, while a regular taxi the white one costs £30 to the Ciampino. The shower in my room was broken and the bathroom was smelly.
Breakfast was served every morning in our room by the most friendly and helpful staff It is close to both the metro and the St Peters Basilica, and it is a good, pleasant walk to the centro storico. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom facilities Excellent value for your money
The TV didn't seem to work but we didn't have the time or the need for watching tv in our room
It's a 2 minute walk to the Vatican and easy metro access too. The staff is very helpful and breakfast is delicious!
All the staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in the room and added a touch of class to our stay - much preferred to our usual queue for the buffet! Would recommend this to anyone looking for good accommodation in Rome city centre and hope to return ourselves. Can't praise it enough!
Nothing at all.
We enjoyed the very helpful staff.
The owners and house keeper were so nice and speak English very well. Everything was clean and modern. They were always on time with breakfast and were flexible with holding our bags for us after we checked out. Air conditioning is excellent!
The breakfast could have had more fruit, but it was good.
Max was a star for texting to confirm arrival time.
Location was excellent so was Massimiliano who was the perfect host, we could not ask for any better. We would definitely go back. Breakfast was excellent.
Location was great, a short walk to St Peters and the Metro 5 mins. away. When we enquired for directions prior to arrival, we were sent a street map, a Metro map and actual directions as to how to walk there. Also when we found we weren't flying out until night they gave us a lovely room at a nearby property for a token charge. Even walked with us and helped carry our bags! Couldn't have had a better place to stay.
Breakfast was beautifully served in our room but would have liked a little more savoury food.
nearly everything was perfect: helpful and very polite (!!) staff, 5 minutes (by foot) to Vatican and Metro, tasty breakfast with in room service, safe and refrigerator included. Can be recommmended for Rome trips !
Very good host, close to the metro, quiet street. I will recommend to friends when they come to Rome.
