Score from 313 reviews Very good
Lovely comfortable & appealing interior furnishings in the public areas. Good restaurant & menu. Easy parking & helpful friendly staff, & kind when we were always late for breakfast!.
horrid solid bread on the breakfast table
Great food! Rooms are dated but have a fantastic view if one has a room on the road side. Some comments mention traffic noise. This was our third time staying there so obviously it hasn't bothered us too much! The noise is primarily at commute time, people going home from work. Certainly it was very quiet at nighttime and did not disturb us. And it was very quiet next morning. Superb breakfast! Good wine by the glass making it possible to try several local ones.
The food is fantastic, the cook is really an artist and by choosing his menu surprise you get a gourmet experience you will not forget anytime soon. The wine list is good enjoying the close cooperation with the local top wine makers. We had a very good experience during both our visits - in July 2011 and again August 2014!!
The hotel is OK with a good air conditioning system, but the room standard is not updated recently. This would be a good idea to do
Ristorante molto buono
Cosy rooms, better than expected from other reviews, some with lovely views over the hills, decent wi-fi (no password required), pleasant welcome and convenient parking, foreign TV channels, decent but slightly pricey restaurant.
Lack of electric sockets in the room (only one in the bathroom) - this is inadequate in this modern age, I generally travel with 2 mobile phones, an iPad, a digital camera and a PC... Apart from this, not much, though be warned that there isn't much to do if you don't have a car and there's nowhere to walk around, just a few houses, a bar that closes at 7pm and another cheaper but average restaurant 300m down the road.
Large room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant. Friendly staff.
The bread for breakfast was not sufficiently cooked
The Restaurant was exelent, so was the breakfast. We should come back for the food, not for the hotel!!
The batrooms have no heating (investment of €70 per room)water was not hot.We did not shower!!The wardrobehanging- rail was out of reach for guests under 180 we were offered some steps. Just invert the boards from down to top and the problem is solved for €5 per room.
