Score from 2937 reviews Very good
In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 3462 reviews Very good
Starhotels Metropole is in Rome's central Repubblica area, 295 ft from the Opera House. Termini Station, Rome's terminal for metro, buses and trains, is a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 1792 reviews Very good
Just 220 yards from both the Opera House and Repubblica Metro, the elegant Hotel Britannia is in a 19th-century building. It offers an extensive breakfast and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 684 reviews Excellent
the corridor is smelly when i move in. then i know why, the bath tub is smelly every time you turn on the water. and the air cond is uncontrollable. the first day too hot, we tell receptionist, then the second day too cool. not good
Clean, easy access to termani station room was ready early
Extra small room. Vents were very dusty,. A.c. Unit fan was broken and very noisy, when I complained they said "the unit makes sound when it is on" the unit was making a noise like the fan was hitting. For top dollar I expected more.
Good location near the station, staff were friendly and breakfast was nice!
Could hear other people coming and going at night a lot inside the hotel and the fire alarm constantly flashed as was above the bed so was not a great nights sleep!
position: near to Termini station/tube; location: downtown; comfort: two terraces to relax, suntanning, reading; cleanliness.
Room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The hotel was quiet, so I was able to sleep soundly. Excellent variety of breakfast choices. WIFI everywhere that worked perfectly. Very close to Termini station. Walking distance to all of Rome's major attractions (with comfortable walking shoes)
Huge balconies Clean rooms Rooftop hot tub and sun loungers Quiet location close to transport hub
Sofa bed in junior suite was very uncomfortable, but the super king bed in the same room was perfect. No iron available or tea trays in the rooms.
Location ONLY. Close to the station if you go to Venice etc.
No welcoming drinks or fruit or anything...poor deco...hard bed...no view...plus the pool a JOKE lol.
Reception recommended two restaurants nearby, which were excellent.
The staff is nice, breakfast is basic but nice, modern rooms, spacious, clean and close to the train station
Could have been nicer...less basic. But my main concern is bettet off be near spanish steps, trivi fountain or the more happening areas
This hotel is very convenient for the airport shuttle and for the railway station
The hotel is in a very convenient spot close to Termini station. The room was quite spacious and set up well with queen bed on one side of room and sofa bed on other side with tv/table between beds. The large bathroom had an especially nice shower. The large balcony offered lovely views of the surrounding area. Cleaning service was first rate! Breakfast was the best! Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with recommendations and reservations.
The only small complaint we had was that we could not set the AC temperature lower than 22C, which was a little warm for our taste.
We liked the close proximity to Termini Station, not only for our arrival from Firenze, but for access to Metro, bus service and taxis. After five weeks of travel, some in rather spartan lodging, we also enjoyed staying in a more upscale hotel. The rooftop whirlpool was warm but not hot, which was refreshing after a full day of sightseeing during a Roman heat wave. Good temperature control. For our room on the top floor, there was a balcony with table and chairs. There were some decent bistros and trattorias nearby.
Not much. The room was smaller than I had hoped.
Very good hotel, good staff, very kind, good breakfast, good location
the breakfast room is a bit small, and the bar misses some ambiance (plus turn on you big screen when there is a half final in the World Cup football, even if Italy is not playing)
Excellent location 1 minute walk from termini and so very accesible form Fiumincino and to Metro/Bus. Neat design in the rooms, with all you need but not more. Good wifi login which doesn't disconect over some days and for multiple devices. Very good value for money if you want a nice looking almost 4 stars Hotel in which you are not spending a lot of time.
Reception calling around 12:00 asking if your leave your room so they can do room service, Notadequate for a 4 stars Hotel which should not disturb their clients in that way, especially they had a long night out. TV with 150 channels but all in italian and not 1 (!) international channel (BBC,CNN, Euronews, etc)
Location great, choice of food for breakfast average, staff very friendly and helpful
furniture in dining room needs some attention / repairs, a "Smokers only" sign on area in dining room would be handy and helpful
proximity to termini large clean quiet room on floor 5 rear good air conditioning good buffet breakfast modern decore did respond to my room request in reservtion
desk staff not warm and fuzzy, but were efficient and professional neighborhood not charming but convenient
Good location, modern design, spacious with balcony for triple room and good breakfast
Staircase leading to lobby, inconvenient for luggage. Flat pillows and air cond is not cold during summer.
Close to station. Great variety for breakfast. Staff willing to satisfy our needs.
Beds were comfortable and the staff were helpful. We were considering late check-out because we flew out of Rome at 10pm. However, the helpful staff said we could shower for free in the gym and brought us fresh towels to do so which was great. It was very quiet in the room. For such a small property they had nice breakfast, not lavish but sufficient.
Rooms are small and our window looked straight into another building but the up side of that was that it was very quiet. Carpets are badly soiled and need to be replaced. I heard a man at reception complaining about this so it wasn't just our room.
If you want a cheap hotel (compare to other hotels in rome) which is near termini metro station its a good choice
No adaptor for my cell phone and laptop
quiet location, eventhough not far from railway stationTermini and city bus terminal, metro stop good brekfast modern interior
designer bathroom - too modern, unconfortable (yet large enough)
nice rooms, good breakfast (for Italian norms) with somewhat limited choice
internet was interrupting very frequently
Quite and very close to central transportation place.
The size of the room was a litle below expectation. Breakfast area also small
