Featuring large grounds, Hotel La Meridiana is on Lido Island, a 2-minute walk from the beach. The hotel is close to the vaporetto stop for Saint Mark's Square in Venice.
Score from 221 reviews Good
Set on the island of Lido di Venezia, Albergo Rigel has air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. Venice is just a 15 minute boat trip away and the beach is a 10 minute walk.
Score from 578 reviews Very good
Set in the Veneto countryside, the Ca' Beatrice is just 2 km from Venice Marco Polo Airport. Rooms are ultra-modern and offer free WiFi and a chromotherapy shower. Breakfast is buffet style.
Score from 573 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Riviera is housed in a historic palace and features a panoramic, strategic location in front of the lagoon and the waterbus stop, within quick reach of Venice’s historic center.
Score from 371 reviews Very good
Poor wifi, never worked. One night we need some food after the schedule and the staff was so rude!!
The breakfast was really good.
The wifi cannot work well in our room.
-view from roof terrace, adriatic at front and venice lagoon at back! -king size bed an air con -good choice of food and plenty of it at breakfast -the bus stopped right outside the front of the hotel, every 20mins, it took about 10mins to the landing stage to get the vaporetto into venice -the beach was directly across the road
My wife and I stayed for seven days at the Venezia 2000 Hotel on the beautiful island of Lido and had a marvelous visit. Lido, during October, is the perfect relaxed counterpoint to a hectic, always bustling Venice. The hotel is directly oposite the beach, allowing delightful strolls along the serene Adriatic. Combined with bike rides in the afternoon, I can't think of a more relaxing way to spend a vacation. (I can't say enough about the Staff... they were always ready to be of any assistance and a pleasure to deal with)
everything was smashing , staff very helpful and english speaking so had an easy stay.
once we didn t have hot water and heating but problem was resolved in a few hours
Staff was super helpful, friendly, and informative. Room was clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. LOTS OF OPTIONS! Secure Parking Lot Quiet Area
I did not like that the website is not very clear that you are a 30 minute ferry ride from venice. The website like many other hotels near venice indicates that a bus picks you up right in front of the hotel! Not the case! A "WATER BUS" can pick you up a 10 minute walk from the hotel! This hotel is on lido and entire different island!! If you have never been to venice you might not realize this based on the description of the hotel and proximity to venice. This lack of information cost me way more mone than I bargained for. I had to put my entire car on a ferry paying nearly 30 euro each way just to park my car in this free parking lot they speak of! It was nearly 60 euro for a roundtrip. I parked my car in venice when I arrived to avoid paying for the ferry more than I had to! Never again! Beware to arrive early to get off the island if you cannot fit on the first ferry going out you have to wait over an hour for another! So if you want to see venice with less confusion and save money...don't stay here!
Great rooms, amazing breakfast, residential area however still only a 10 minute walk to the boats for main island, right next to beach and very friendly staff! No problems at all with this hotel and excellent value for money. Definitely recommended for anybody looking for a clean, quiet and friendly hotel
the hotel is good, staff, breakkfast all are good
location in liido, qfter tqking the boat, still have to take the bus no wifi in the room
Breakfast included with room price
Breakfast was acceptable
Quite a distance from the main centre of the Lido and ferries. Across the road from the hotel is a derelict hospital which looks awful. Hotel lacks character, has poor lighting and is poorly furnished Our bathroom flooded every time you showered
Even though we booked the economy room we did not expect the carpet to be threadbare and with a large stain on it, the bathroom ceiling to have mould on it, there were no tea or coffee making facilities yet it had a mini bar? The room was not even housed in the main building but in a complex accessed by the car park with a grubby entrance porch. When we rang reception to say how disappointed we were and asked for another room we were told that one wasn't available until the next day and would cost an additional 20 euro per night
Quite location on Lido, 15 min walking distance from lido water bus station to the hotel. There is bus line A station at the front of hotel. Room is with view of sea and balcony. Freash and warm breakfast. Staff is friendly.
Wifi connection is poor.
Restaurant nice, close to the beach and quiet place. Beautiful scenery outside the window.
Wi-fi connection poor. I don't like the blanket, it was so old.
Elder lady staff gave us a racing descrimental problem to us when checked in and when we reported WiFi problem. It was a first time experience in this Italy. WiFi could not use in the room and stayed at lobby in the midnight. When I reported this issue, they answered this is due to your PC not notel. I never recommend to book this kind of hotel.
Location, room and breakfest
There was only one entry card available for double room No free beds at the beach
We've got a very good price for an economy room which was very nice and better than expected. The size was enough for a couple, very quiet and clean. Few steps from the beach. Breakfast with many options although you have to pay for a fresh brewed cappucino (they offer the one from the machine for free). It's not in the main commercial street but not as far as I thought from others review. I'd definitely stay there again
Wi-Fi signal was weak. We were able to connect just in the reception. Almost no signal in the room or in the breakfast room, for example
The old ghost town with a closed hospital that looked like something out of a zomby movie just next to the hotel. Amazing location for a photo shoot!
slow wi-fi that disconected all the time. The breakfast was nasty, they just served old soft croissants and low priced sweet stuff. They made no effort to be a nice hotel.
opposite the beach best breakfast on the Lido really helpful staff roof terrace with sun loungers views to the beach and St Marks square listening to the waves and seeing the fishermans lights decent shower bus stop outside typical venetian décor, old grandeur
the empty buildings nearby(not hotels fault)
excellent location to visit Venezia
To expensiv for the quality
Access to the beach. Bus stop outside the door and the staff were extremely helpful.
I thought the breakfast could have included some fresh fruit also the breakfast room was quite dreary and the windows needed cleaning.
The personal was very kind and helpful. The room was good, clean and the sleep was without the slightest disturbance. The breakfas buffet was very complete and of good quality. The last day we checked out and spent the day in the beach. The personal had no problem to let us use the shower at the terrace to avoid the overprized fares at the private beaches
The WLAN was very slow. We had booked a single big bed for two and we received two single beds put together. It was no big deal for us but some can feel upset about that.
The personnel in the hotel very friendly can help you every time , the hotel very good hope enjoy
location, value for money
More quietly in Lido, walking, beach, foods, boats, and sightseeing
No Asian foods, very crowded in some area, and very hot weather
Staff friendly & helpful, excellent breakfast, beautiful sea view, beach just across road
Sea view expensive! Cost as much as 4 star hotel near St. Marks Square!
